A whole new world

I gasp for air as if I hadn't been breathing, trying to catch my breath. I open my eyes only to see sand. Wait? Sand? Where the hell am I-? I was cut off by the sight of a small town.  This town did not look normal to the kind of town you see everyday. It looked small, but welcoming.

I try to get up, feeling super weak in the process. Why do I feel super weak? Anyway. Enough with the questions, let's get down to business. I have to find somebody, and figure out where the hell I am. I slowly and weakly walk towards the town. Getting closer I noticed the buildings getting bigger than a usual building where I'm from. Also I see some weird kind of creature that looks..... Like a horse?!? And they are wearing clothing. Wait? What? Horses wearing clothing, and acting like humans? What kind of world am I in? Stop asking questions me! I'm too dumb. Yet again asking questions is what makes people smart, but not in this situation.

I get really close to the town, and start attracting very little attention, but that very little attention with very little eyes starts to grow into Everyone.... Or whatever these things are.  Seconds later I hear murmurs throughout the crowd. Little.... Horses? Children? Niños? Bambini? Kodomo? Or whatever they are, hide behind their... Horse... Parents? Padres? Genitori? Oya? I don't know anymore, and who cares. Anyway...,. What was I talking about? I digress. So, I stop dead in my tracks. Looking over the crowd. I finally come up with the guts to say something. "Hi." I say. None of them respond. Maybe they don't speak English. I try again, " Hola. Como estas?" Still nothing. " Siete giusto?". Again. Nothing. Lets try one more time. "  Kinō wa koi matawa orokadesu?" Oh my god! When will these mindless creatures learn language?!?! Oh my god. I sigh. I'm honestly getting nowhere with these creatures.
