Twilight Sparkle slowly got out of bed after a long night of studying. On her bedside table lay the spell book Princess Celestia had given Twilight. On it's cover was a brown block with a green top. The title read, MC Mod Spells. Of course Twilight had cast the very first spell in the book before going to bed. Streaching, Twilight went to go make breakfast, and tripped over something. Grumbling to herself about being so clumsy, she looked at what she had tripped over and her jaw dropped. A perfect purple cube lay on the ground about one meter tall, and on all its sides was a white question mark. She shook her head and tried to pick it up with her magic and the cube burst open. Fireworks expolded that shook the castle, and Twilight sprang back from suprise. On the ground where the cube should have been was a pile of iron ingots, gold ingots, diamonds, and emeralds. As she was about to pick the stuff up, a rapid knocking came from downstairs. Twilights sighed and teleported downstairs. She opened the door to her friend Applejack.
"Uh Twilight you got a moment?" "I gotta show you somethin". She asked.
Twilight nodded. "What do need to show me?"
"It's at Sweet Apple Acres, and it's very strange". Twilight just rolled her eyes. "Believe me I have seen strange".
5 minutes later
Sitting atop an apple tree was an orange block with a pixeled apple on each side, and every few seconds it would change into a picture of a golden apple, then change back a few seconds later. Twilight just stared at it. Shaking her head she flew up to the block, and kicked it trying to knock the block of the tree. Instead the block shattered and in its place was a golden apple. Picking it up with her magic, she noticed that it was giving of a faint glow, and it shimmered with an enchanted look.
"It's beautiful!" Twilight looked down to see Rarity staring at the apple. Suddenly the Apple disapered from Twilights hoofs and appeared in Rarity's magic beside her. She then trotted off. "Oh Twilight, I MUST show you something!" She said, and grabbed Twilight with her magic and dragged her behind her.
5 minutes later
Twilight opened the door to Rarity's house to the sound of screaming. Inside Sweete Belle was running away from a rotting, bipedal zombie, wearing full diamond armor that shimmered like the apple. "SWEETE BELLE!" Shouted Rarity and rushed over to pick her little sis up. The zombie groaned one last time before Twilight blasted it. All that was left in it's place was a full set of shimmering armor, and a shimmering sword. "WHAT DID YOU DO?" Rarity continued to yell at Sweete Belle.
"I'm sorry, I tripped over a strange cube, and it broke!" she shouted back. Neither of them had noticed that Twilight had left. As she trotted away from Rarity's place, something hit her in face. Hard. "Twilight come to my house, it's an emerge-". Rainbow was cut of by Twilight freezing her in place. "If it's another weird cube, I swear I---". "It's not a weird cube, it's that I want to show you a trick I learned. Twilight turned around to see Rainbow Dash staring at her. Wait. In front of her was a frozen Pinkie Pie. "Sorry Pinkie!" Exclaimed Twilight and quickly unfroze her.
"It's okay Twilight!" Exclaimed the pink pony. "I was going to say that I found the most coolest thing ever, and I wanted to show it to you!" Twilight nodded, and she, Pinkie, and Rainbow, walked over to Sugar Cube Corner.
Once inside they walked up to Pinkie's room to find a bright pink block, with a pixelated cake on each side. Twilight groaned then shot a blast of magic at the block. The blast shattered the block and in its place were 5 large cakes sitting on the ground. Immediately, Pinkie bolted over to the cakes them ate them all at once! Twilight then left to take a much needed rest. As she made her way over to her castle, ponies started to follow her. She continued to walk twords her castle as more ponies began to follow her. Finally once she reached her castle, a group of about 50 ponies were behind her. "Yes Everypony?" She asked the crowd. Immediately they all started talking about cubes and strange things happening when they broke them. The more everyone talked the more angry she became. Then in burst of magic, she teleported into her bedroom, and flopped on her bed. That's when she noticed a picture of a yellow block in the book the Princess had given her. It looked exactly like one of the blocks she had been dealing with all morning! In a flash of anger, she incinerated the page and fell asleep again.
Menwhile in Canterlot.
"Sister are you sure that it was a good idea to send Twilight that spell book?" Luna asked her sister as she gazed down at Ponyville, watching the group of pony, crowded around Twilight's Castle.
"What do you mean Luna?" Replied Celestia and the looked down at Ponyville. "Oh. My." Celestia then turned around to go confront them and stopped. She quickly tapped Luna on the shoulder and pointed. Inside their room was a pair of blocks, one having a sun on it and being yellow, while the other was black and had a moon on it. In a flash of white, both of the blocks disappeared. Celestia looked at Luna. Once it clicked, they both burst into laughter.
