Prologue: I have to save WHAT!?
"Ow, my head.", I groaned in pain as I hold my hand to my head. I couldn't remember what happened to me. All I remember is something ramming into me, hard. My whole body felt like a train wreck, I could barely move and was having a very difficult time breathing. Soon, I heard a voice called out to me.
"How long are you going lay on the ground?", The voice sounded a little deep but, had a little bit of charm in it. I struggled to open my eyes but, to no avail. The voice spoked once again, "Oh right, you just came back from the dead.", Wait, did this voice said I came back from the DEAD!?, "Yes, I said you came back from the dead and to answer your follow up question Kaue, I can read your mind and thoughts.", This just went from weird to fucking creepy. First, how the hell did he knew my name and second, how the hell can he read my mind!? I was panicing inside my head because my body couldn't do it without suffering more pain. The voice spoked to me once again, "Hold still for a second. I'm not good at healing people if they keep moving around.", I did what the voice said and tried to calm down. When I finally calmed down, I felt something wash over my whole body. It was like having a nice, relaxing bubble bath after a long hard day of work. When it disappeared, my body was no longer in pain, "There, that should do it.", The voice said as I hear it clapping his hands like he had dust on them, "Now then, will you please be kind and open your eyes? Also get off of the ground.", I attempted to open my eyes once more and they finally opened. The first thing I saw was a man in a black business suit with black gloves and shoes. His hair was smooth and black and his eyes were bright blue. I tried to say something but, my throat was pretty parched and I only let out a sore groan. The mand picked me and carried me somewhere. After a few minutes of walking he put me down in a chair that appeared out of nowhere. The man sat down on another chair and the only thing that was separating them was a wooden desk. The mand snapped his fingers and a cup of water appeared right in front of me. I gave a suspicious look to the man and he chuckled a little as a reaction, "Don't worry, I did nothing to the water.", Normally, I don't trust strangers gaving me something to drink but, my body ignored my thoughts on safety for survival. I picked up the cup and drank it all down in one go. I slam the cup down as I took some deep breaths, boy did I needed that. I returned my attention to the man in fromt of me and as I open my mouth, he put his hand up to stop me and said, "You are probably wondering where we are, am I correct?", Right on the dot on that one. I took a quick look around and notice that we were in what seems to be a dark void, "A dark void would be a appropriate set of words but, this is what I call the plane of nothing.", I raise an eyebrow in confusion. What did he mean by 'plane of nothing'?. The man soon gave me his answer, "The plane of nothing a place that is between the land of the living and the land of the dead.", I stared in shock at this. I was in a place that is between the dead and the living!? That also brought another question in mind. I open my mouth to ask a question and the man didn't try to stop me.
"You said that I came back from the dead.", I told to make sure that I heard him correctly. All he did was nod, "So, does that mean that I-
"Died?", The man finished my question. He closed his eyes as he sighed and soon, he open them and looked at me, "You were in a car accident because a driver decided to go home drunk because he thought he could make there safely.", The man folded his hands together and rested his head on them, "You were at the wrong place, in a bad time. You were just walking home from a friend's house. While you were half way from your home, that same drunk driver didn't see you and well, you get the picture.", Oh I got the picture alright, too well. I died because of a stupid driver that was drunk and had ended my young life. I gripped my right hand into a fist and made it tighter to try to let out my anger. I felt a hand touch my shoulder, I turned to see who it was and saw it was the business man standing over me. He put his head near my ear and said, "Don't let the past control your actions in the future.", That was all he said as he mysteriously teleported back into the same chair he was in, "I know that dying seems like a bad thing and all.", Biggest understatement of the year. I tried to open my mouth to say that but, the man hold up both of his index fingers upwards in the air, "BUT, That was not a meaningless death my good friend.", I looked at him with a confused look. He ceared his throat as he continues, "In fact, that driver just made this job a whole lot easier!", I was even more confused now then I was before. What 'job' was he talking about? I decided to ask him.
"What do you mean by job?", The man looked at me with a surprised face as if he said something he didn't mean to say. He slapped himself in the face and answered my question.
"Right, right, right.", The man put a closed hand infront of his mouth as he cleared his throat once again, "Well, the job I was talking about is well", the man tapped his chin like he was thinking about something, "I am trying to think of a way to say that you are to become a hero and save a world in another dimension."
"...", Was the only reply I could give to what he just said, "What?"
"Well you see, a certain tyrant that goes by the name king BlueBlood, had tooken over a world called, Equestria and you are the only one that can stop him!", he said the last part by slaming his right fist on the table. He looked a little confused as I still kept the same face when he told me that I had to save the world, "Um, are you alright?"
Thump
That was the only sound that came from me as my body felled onto the table, face first. The man blinked his eyes as I suddenly pasted out. He had only said one thing about this before I completely blacked out, "He took this far better than I thought."
I let out a groan as I open my eyes and found myself laying face flat on the table. I managed to pull myself up and rubbed my head, "What happened?", I asked to noone particular but, someone did answered my question.
"You pasted out when I said you had to save Equestria.", I looked to see who it was and it was none other than the business man himself. I remebered what he told me and was about to past out again until, I felt a splash of cold water hit me in the face. I let out a shocked yell as I was suddenly wet and began to shiver. I looked at where the water came from and saw a old bucket floating next to the stranger, "Forgive me but, I couldn't let you past out again.", He snapped his fingers and the bucket disappeared, "Let's get to business! All I need you to do is-".
"Why the hell would I have to do everything a guy that came out of nowhere say!?", I yelled at the man. This caused him to stop what he was talking about and gave me a confused look, "For all I know, You could be the devil tricking me into selling my soul!", This caused the man burst into laughter and he cleared his throat after about two seconds of laughter.
"That would make sense that you would feel paranoid about this.", He stroked his chin while he talked and closed his hands together, "But, no. You are not selling your soul but, if you don't listen to what I say, then you have thrown away your only chance to go back to the living.", The last part he said was the thing that caught me hook, line and sinker.
"Do you mean a second chance to live again?", I asked the man. He smirked at me before he answered.
"Why yes, you can go back to earth like nothing happened of course.", BOOM! That was the thing that got me. I had a shock look on my face and the business man caught on to this, "That is if you save Equestria.", This confused me and I told him.
"I already heard you say that three times but, I have no clue what Equestria is exactly.", The buisness man had a surprised look on his face and after a few seconds, he slapped himself in the face.
"Right, I never told what that place is, didn't I? Well, Equestria a place filled with many creatures like ponies, griffens, manticores and others as well and they are located in a different dimension.", So the multidimensional theory was true! I did an air pump with my right arm and whipered I knew it! The man rolled his eyes at this and continued, "Equestria was known for it's beauty and was build based on friendship. It was a peaceful world until, HE came to power!", The man said the last part with a malice tone, "He now calls himself king BlueBlood and had successfully took over the world by stealing the powers of the four alicorn princesses, Queen Chrysalis and King Sombra and Discord with the help of the alicorn amulet.", He waved his hand over the table to show a white pony with blond hair with a horn glowing red as seven other creatures lost their crowns and one lost his horn and they formed into one giant, ridicules head hair. The pony put on the crown and was surrounded by a bright light. When the light subsided, the pony now had green and red eyes with a purple haze coming from them and had now both wings and a horn. The image had faded away and I was very confused by this, "What you just saw was BlueBlood taking away the powers of the these powerful beings and now that he is in full control of their power, nothing could stop him.", He said the last part with a himt of sadness but, he soon smiled and folded his hands so only his index fingers were out and pointed to me, "Except you. You are now the only one that could defeat him and return Equestria back to normal!", This was alot to take in but, of course I did what any sane person would do.
"I would love to help but, I going to have to say no.", Did you guys really think I was going to help!? How the hell a weakling teen supposed to do against someone that was pretty much a powerful god!? Forgetting the fact that the guy in front of me could read my mind, he answered my rhetorical question.
"There is a way that you can beat him and all you need to do is answer this question that will appear right in front of you.", The man pulled his right sleeve to show a wrist watch and stared at it, "Right... About... Now!", When he said now, a video game like screen appeared right in front of me reading.
"Do you want the gamer ability? Yes or no?". Of cousre I pressed no but it changes to read a different question, "Are you sure? Yes or no?", I pressed no again and it read the same questio as before, I did it again, and again, and again. I did this A few more times until it finally read something else, "But thou must!", Soon, it changed into the same question that asked me in the first place. In case some of you don't understand what a but thou must situation is, it means that it will never accept no for an answer. In the end, I pressed yes. It finally disappeared and I soon felt something strange going though my body.
"Relax, this always happens when someone new gains this power. This is only last for a few seconds.", He was telling the truth when this will only last for a little bit. The feeling was gone and I felt refreshed like I could take on the whole world. Soon a screen appeared in front of me and showed somethings that I would understand.

"Now normally I'm suppose to explain how the gamer ability works but, I found a way so that I won't have to explain evrything in one go and that you can go over anytime you want if you are a little confused about something.", The man snapped his fingers and a book appeared in front of me. The cover was light blue with the words, "Tutorial", I only put a finger on the cover and it vanish into thin air. After the book disappeared, a blue screen appeared and read.
"The Tutorial book had been added to your inventory.", I looked at the man and he still had this smile on his face. There was only one question in my head.
"How the hell am I suppose to get this so called Equestria?", I asked making quotation marks with my hamd as I said Equestria. All the man did was smile as he raised his right arm and said only one thing.
"This is how.", He snapped his fingers. Soon a hole opened up beneath me, through that hole was dull gray clouds only in sight. It doesn't think a genius to find out what was going to happen. I looked at the business man with a deadpan look and only got to say one thing.
"I fucking hate you.", I told him in a deadpan tone and I felled through the hole screaming like hell. The man got up to look through hole and said a overused pun.
"Have a nice fall!", The buisness man looked to his left and saw that the readers were still here, "Why are you still here? You need to get with the hero of this story!", The man put up his right hand, "In case yoy were wondering, my name is Sans.", Sans snapped his fingers an the same hole appeared beneath the readers, leading them to tha same place Kaue was going, "If you never meet the kid, tell him I said good luck because he is going to need a lot of it.", That was the only thing you heard as you fell through the hole.
Chapter 1: Reading the tutorial
Hey there guys! If you read the prologue, than you already know what is already going on. I was falling a thousand feet from the sky, going at speed that might rival a race car and with no chance of surviving the fall. Of course I took it like it like a badass... Okay, I was screaming like a little girl.
"AHHHHH!", I was terrified and completely forgot that the buisness guy was the one that did this to me. I was trying slow down by flapping my arms like a bird- hey, facing certain death tends to cause anyone to do stupid things to survive. Heck, I even pulled out a priest hat and a shaman's wand and prayed to god to save me out of nowhere. I was closing in to the ground below me and I decided to cover my eyes and rolled myself up like a ball and screamed all the way. I crashed into the ground, My whole body splattered all over the place and I lost all heat. I had died once again if I hit the ground at that speed. Luckily, I somehow landed on a long tree branch and it slowed me down dramaticly somehow. When I was close to the ground, the bracnh sliped off to get back to it's original position and I only dropped a few inches from the ground. However, I didn't knew any of this happend because I was still screaming with my eyes closed the whole time.
"AHHHHHhhhh. Huh?", I said as I noticed one thing that made grew a big smile and jumped in the air in complete joy, "I'M STILL ALIVE! Come on world, is that all you got! I'M INVINSI-", I never got to finish my sentence because the world still had some tricks in it's sleeves. I was so cocky and overjoyed that I didn't notice the cliff that I was a step away from. I felled down the cliff, hitting every single rock that was sticking out from it. There were a few weird rhings on the way down like a goat, an anvil, a cactus and when I reached the bottom I landed on a fire hydrant; nuts first. I grabbed my balls with both of my hands as I let out a high pitch sound, "ow", I slid off the fire hydrant and felled to the ground, holding my balls in pure agony. After a minute, the pain went away completely which was I found weird. Normally it takes even longer to get over the pain of being hit in the balls. When I think about it, how the fuck did I survive falling down a cliff without breaking a single bone in my body!? I sat down and closed my eyes to think while tapping my index finger on my head. While thinking and calming down, I remembered how I got here in the first place, "That asshole sent me here!", I jumped onto my feet as I yelled. I gripped my right hand into a fist and shook it aggressively, "Oh, when I get my hands on him, I am going to kick him in the balls", I swung my right leg to show my point, "Then we will see how he likes it!"
After calming down from my rage, I was now back at the problem at hand. What do I do now? I sat down and let out a heavy sigh and suddenly, it hit me, "I still got that book.", the moment I said the book, the exact same book appeared on my lap. I was going to question where the hell did the book came from but, he wasn't going to question it. He picked up the book and look at the cover, it still had that same color and words when that guy gave it to me, "Got nothing else to do so, might as well read it.", I open the book to the first page to read but, instead something appeared in front of me. In front of me was a girl with a goofy hat, red hair, blue eyes, an orange dress and had white shoes. Did I also forget to mention that she had wings. I sat there with a very confused face as I tried to process on what the fuck I just saw. We stood there in silence until she broke the it.
"Hi there.",She had the voice of a young girl that is quite happy. I suddenly jumped back in shock as she spoke to me and caused me to fall flat on my back. The girl floated so that she was over my face, "You're not good at talking to girls, are you?", She said while puffing out her cheeks and made two bubbles with her lips. How the hell is my bad talking with girls skill the cause of this!?
"Oh nothing except for the fact that I am TALKING TO A FUCKING FAIRY!?", This called the girl to puff in cheeks in anger. Was it something I said?
"I am not a fairy! I am a pixie and we are so much more cuter than those ugly fairys!", So fairys and pixies hate each others. Good to know, "Any way, do you want to read the tutorial?", She asked me with the same cheerful attitude from before.
"Well, yes. Why else would I open the book that cleary reads tutorial?", I told the pixie and all she did was roll her eyes and snapped her little fingers. Soon, a screen with some writing on it appeared in front of me, "That should answer any question you have. When you finish reading something, just swipe with your finger to read the next page.", she demonstrated by swiping her finger on the screen and it cahnged to a different page. She turned to look at me in the face, "Also, I'm pretty much stuck with you so, I will be sleeping inside your mind for a while. Good bye!", I didn't get to say anything in the matter as she flyed into my head leaved behind some sparkles. I let out another sigh and started to read.
"Hello! Welcome to the tutorial, where we will explain to you the fuction of the world you are in and your new gamer ability", I was curious on what the gamer ability was exactly, "First off, lets explain what the gamer ability is.", It's like the book was reading my mind as well, "The gamer ability is the power that turns your whole life into that of a video game. That means things that normally will kill you will only hurt your hp. We will explain what hp stands for a little later.", That explains how I survived on that cliff, "You start off with two passive skills, the gamer's mind and the gamer's body. The gamer's mind allows you to calm down from pretty much anything, writher you want to or not. This means that you can think clearly while you are in battle and allows you to survive.", I don't really like the way it sounded but, if it helps me survive then I will live with it, "Next is the gamer's body. It makes your whole bosy that of a video game character, things that would hirt or kill you will fade away after sometime or when you recover some hp. Those are the first two passive skills and you will only have these and one extra skill for free. You will have to unlock the skills by yourself", Typically for a game to so that. Gives you a few skills and you need the rest through hard work.
"I can do that", I told myself. I swiped the screen to see the next page.
"Now we will talk about how your stats and levels work. Below this sentence is a list on what each of these thing means.", I looked below the sentence and just like it said, there was a list that explained the stats.
'Level: A measure of overall power; Levels are optained through receiving a set of EXP from quest and killing monsters. Eaxh level adds 60 hp and mp, grants 10 stat points to be spent freely and at every multiple of 5 levels, a point will add an additional point in hp/mp regeneration.'
'Hp: health points. How much damage you can take without dying. Has a base of 100. If you run out of Hp do not worry, as long you have life cures, you can come back to life. WARNING! If your hp reaches 0 and you have no life cures, you will die. No restarts, no reloading and no second chances. You eill get a permanent GAME OVER.'
I gulped at the warning. I decided to be extra careful from now on and have a few life cures. Speaking of life cures, what are they? I saw that the word life cure was green and spending time on the internet you will know that it has a link. I pressed the link and a small screen opended up with a picture. The picture was a small vial with some strange pink liquid in it and it had angel like wings on it.
"I guess they are some sort of revival item.", I shrugged and somehow closed the small screen and continued to read.
'Hp regen: Health point regeneration. You regain 1% of your max hp per minute'
'Mp: Mana points. Measure how much mana, chakra, KI, spitual powers or whatever you possess. It is required to use many abilities.',
So there are different kinds of way to say magic. I wonder what kind I could learn. I put that thought aside and continued to read.
'Mp regn: Mana point regeneration. You regain 1% of your maximum mp per minue, though this can be changed with wisdom.'
'Str. Strength. Determines your physical damage.', Well that was pretty straight forward.
'Int. Determines cognitive abilites, memorization, magical attack and adds 10 mp per point.', So those 5 points in Int added 50 mp to my total. Wait, won't that mean it should be 50 mp? Suddenly, a red screen appeared in front of the screen I was reading.
'ERRROR! There was a small error that caused your stats to be half of what they are meant to be due to the fact you are level 0. This will be fixed when you finish reading the tutorial.', Well that answered my question at least. I continued to read the tutorial.
'Agi. Your speed and flexibility, as well as your overall dexterity with your physical body.'
'Vit. Your overall health and physical toughness. Add 10 hp per point.'
'Wis. Your logic and problem solving abilities. Every 10 points adds 1% to your Mp regen and increases your magic resistance by 1%', Better keep that in mind.
'Luck. Your overall luckiness in life. Affects everything to some degree but, has the most influence in things in which chance has a large role, such as monster drops and such as flipping a coin', That didn't seem to be really useful but, there were a few times where luck had saved my ass while I played video games. I tried to swipe to the next page but, it refused to move. A screen appeared and it reads, 'The rest of the tutorial will appear later on.', ... That's it... THAT WAS THE FUCKING TUTORIAL!. Another screen appeared and had the words note on it.
'Note: Stats can be raised manually in various ways but, this will get harder as they increase. After every 10 points, it becomes harder to grow. By 50, they are almost impossible to grow. Good luck', I think this tutorial is trolling me. I closed the tutorial for now and another screen showed up; I have been getting a lot of this today.
'Quest complete: read the tutorial. Reward: 10 exp, 500 bits and weapon Choice.' I felt a strange feeling in my body, like it was getting stronger and that was because it was. I had gained my first level up!
"I am now level 1!", I heard some crickets chirping. That sounded a lot better in my head. I let out a sigh and sat down. I really want to see my status but- Then a light brown screen appeared with just what I was asking for.

"So I still have some stat points to spend, huh?", I would be worried and freaked out if I didn't have the gamer's mind skill. I began to think what I should invest in but, I was interupted by ding sound. I looked at the soure of the sound and found out it was a nother screen.
'By surving from a fall by pure luck, you unlocked a skill: Lucky!', A light red screen appeared next to the blue screen.
'lucky! Passive. Level:max. The lady of luck had decided to shine her light on you. You are now more lucky than you have ever been.
Effect: luck+5 permanently.', So I unlock my skills through my action? That is an interesting way to learn skills. Soon I learned a nother skill.
'Observe. Active/Passive. Level:1. Next level:0.00%. Grants information at a glance to a target. If target is at a hight level than you, most of the infomation will not be shown. If the target is 50 levels higher than your level plus observe, than no information will be given. Level up observe to see more detailed information in both active and passive uses.', Now that is a useful skill! I planned to grind that skill up after I deposit my points. Before I could do any of those things. The pixie from before came out of my head and had a brown bag with her.
"So you finally finished reading the tutorial.", She put on a happy smile, "Well, now I am going to give you your first weapon.", She waved the bag around a little. I reached to grab the bag but, the pixie pulled it away, "But first, I need to know what weapon you want.", she put her hand into the bag, "Do you want a sword, a bat, a bow, a pair of gloves, a gun, a staff, an axe or a dual daggers?", She pulled out each weapon to me and put them away. The first was a wooden sword, second was a wooden bat, third was a pair of leather gloves, fourth was a pistol, fifth was a wooden stick curved at the top' sixth was an woodman's axe and finally she pulled out two daggers that look a little dull. I pondered on this for a moment then I decided to go with my favorite weapon.
"I choose the sword!", I put my hand out to the pixie. All the pixie did to react to this was an eye roll and pulled out the wooden sword. I grabbed it to get a handle on it and then I learned another skill.
'Sword Mastery. Passive. Level:1. Next level:0.00%. You had now learn the ways of thw sword. This skill will increase your efficiency with swords. Effect: plus 10% attack damage from sword based weapons and skills.', This was awesome! But I realized something important.
"Where am I going to hide this?", I asked. I knew I couldn't just walk a round with a sword in my hand all the time. The pixie decided to answer my question.
"You know, if you think about inventory than you can store everything in there.", I decided to take her advise and thought about getting an inventory. Soon, a light brown colored screen appeared but, this time with tons of small squares. Another screen appeared as well. It seems to be the tutorial.
'What you see before you is a pocket dimesion with infinite space or you can just call it inventory if you want. Basically, you can store all of your stuff in here and you can take it out at anytime.', With that, the blue screen disappeared. I looked to see what I had. I seem to have 5 apples, 5 water bottles, 5 life cures and the 500 bits from the quest. I tried to push my sword on the screen and surprisingly, it workd. My sword is now in my inventory.
"Welp, I am going to go back into your head to sleep. Goodbye!," She floated back a little and stopped, "In case you were wondering, my name is lilly.", After she said that she charged at my forehead. That reminds me, I never told you what I looked like. I had brown hair, slightly pale skin, blue and green eyes. I wore a grey sweater with a hoodie and underneath it was a blue short sleeved shirt, pair of blue pants that I can easily move around in and diesil shoes. Now only one question remained.
"What am I going to do now?", In response, I got a new quest.
'Quest detected: Get out of the forest. Description: Try to find a way out of the forest you are in. Success: 100 exp, 100 bits. Failure: forever lost in the woods.', I looked around at my surrounding and discovered that I was already lost.
"Oh fuck me."
