Wandering the depths of hell confused, tired and completely terrified, she finds someone. That's the good part. Unfortunately, she's the devil. Even more unfortunate, she's her only hope of escape. Officially, she goes by Celestia. But Ember seems to be the name she prefers.

Ember offers her a challenge. If she can seduce her five closest friends - consensually of course - over the course of a week, she goes free. If not, she doesn't.

But there's more to Ember than meets the eye. She wasn't always the spirit of evil. She wasn't always the balancer of scales. She did what she did for a reason. A cold, sad reason.

Playing gods means you make whatever sacrifices are necessary for the greater good and she knew that. So why now, up close, was it different?
