When the Sunset Goes Down, Twilight Comes
On a late afternoon day, Sunset Shimmer sat on the steps outside of Canterlot High as several other students walked around her on their way out. She stared at the remains of the decimated school statue with a crooked frown and placed a finger to her lips. Thoughts of her recent battle with the girl who looked and sounded exactly like one of her closest friends flooded her mind, and she clenched her fist.
“Hey, Sunset.” A voice pierced her concentration.
Sunset glanced up to see a tall girl with long, flowing rainbow-colored hair dangling down in front of her. “Hi, Rainbow Dash,” she replied.
Rainbow slung her backpack onto the concrete step next to Sunset and unzipped it. From within she pulled out a flyer reading, ‘Auditions!’ “Check it out!” she said as she shoved it into Sunset’s face.
Sunset snatched it away and scanned it over. “You’re trying out for a new band?”
“Yeah, kinda.” Rainbow Dash quickly nodded. “They need a lead guitarist and I figured it’d give me something to do until soccer season starts in a few months.”
“Ah, alright,” Sunset said with a lazy shrug. “Good luck with that.”
“Thanks,” Rainbow answered with a slick grin. “Not that I’ll need it.”
Rainbow Dash tucked the flyer away and took a seat next to her friend, who stared ahead with a forlorn expression. “Uhm… you okay?” she asked.
Sunset let a deep sigh fall from her lips and she placed both hands over her eyes. “Yeah, I’m fine. I just have a lot to think about.”
“Well good luck. I gotta go, otherwise I’d lend an ear. You understand, right?” Rainbow asked as she jumped up and made her way down the stairs.
Sunset rolled her eyes and huffed. “Yeah… I understand.”
She watched her colorful friend jog down the sidewalk and catch up with Applejack, who seemed to be headed in the same direction. Sunset rubbed her temples and then shook her head. As she stood up and took a step forward, a bright pink ball of poof appeared directly in front of her.
“Hiya!” Pinkie Pie shouted.
Sunset Shimmer flinched and stumbled backwards, falling back onto her rear. She shook her head and cleared her throat. “Heh… Hi, Pinkie. What’s up?”
“Not you,” she said with a high pitched giggle. “That seagull is up… ooh, and so is that cloud! And also—”
“Yeah, yeah. I mean, why are you here? Did you need something?” Sunset asked.
“No. Not really,” Pinkie said with a finger on her chin. “I actually just noticed that you look kinda down in the dumps.”
“I’m fine,” Sunset assured her. “I’m just trying to wrap my head around a few things, and it’s kinda messing with me… inside, I guess.”
“Ooh, I know! Why don’t you just go ahead and tell Aunty Pinkie Pie all about whatever’s troubling your pretty little head.” Pinkie took a seat and placed her hands on her knees with a wide smile and expectant eyes.
Taken aback, Sunset chuckled and shrugged. “Okay sure. Why not?” She took a deep breath and pointed towards the shattered statue. “It’s just that New-Twilight destroyed that statue and almost ripped apart everything around us. People could have died, yet only a week later and everyone seems to have forgotten about everything she’s done.”
Pinkie Pie nodded and widened her eyes.
Sunset covered her face and sighed deeply. “I’m still getting heat about what I did months later. Believe me, I know it was bad, but was I really so much worse?”
Pinkie looked down and away. “Well… maybe.”
“I know I shouldn’t feel this way, and I do feel happy that Twilight is doing so well here with everyone… but I can’t help but feel a little jealous, as well.” Sunset bit her lip and rested her chin on her knees.
“Jealous?” Pinkie asked. “I don’t think there’s a reason to feel that way.”
Sunset turned away and squeezed her legs more tightly.
Pinkie Pie suddenly gasped. “I have an idea!”
Sunset looked up and tilted her head. “What is it?”
“Well… Rarity and Fluttershy are spending time at the spa, Rainbow Dash is going to audition for a new band with Applejack cheering her on, and I’m not doing anything!” Pinkie exclaimed.
“Okay, so what’s the idea?” Sunset asked again with a sharp undertone.
Pinkie Pie jumped up and sprinkled confetti over Sunset’s head. “Sleepover at my place!”
“Sleepover?” Sunset shrugged. “Didn’t you just list off how everyone’s busy?”
“Not everyone,” Pinkie corrected.
“So wait, just the two of us then?” Sunset asked.
“The two of us plus one: Twilight Sparkle!” Pinkie explained. “You two don’t really talk too much so maybe this’ll give you guys a chance to… bond!”
Sunset cringed and looked back down. “Uhm… I’m not sure that’s such a good idea. Talking to this Twilight feels weird. I mean, I can’t get over the fact that she’s so similar to Princess Twilight, but not quite the same person. I don’t know how you guys look past it so easily.”
“Just look at it this way,” Pinkie said with a raised finger. “Twilight is a student from Crystal Prep who is a really nice, smart, fun, friendly, caring, and magical person. Princess Twilight is a pony princess from Equestria who is an expert on Friendship Magic and has a whole ‘nother life with friends and problems and craziness that we can’t even begin to imagine.”
Sunset wore a mirthful smirk and nodded. “I guess you’re right. I can’t really blame Twilight for not being… Twilight.”
“Exactly!” Pinkie Pie hopped up and down. “So… the sleepover is on!”
“Sure… why not?” Sunset shrugged and stood up. “So, where is she anyway?”
“She’s staying late and bugging all of our teachers about receiving extra-credit assignments. Quick, let’s stop her before she gets too much work to be able to come to the sleepover!” Pinkie darted through the doors into the school.
Sunset Shimmer laughed and tried to keep up. Just through the doors, Twilight stepped towards the exit with a long face.
Pinkie Pie circled her and examined everything she was holding. “How much did you get?!”
Twilight hung her head and sighed. “None… All of our teachers insisted that I enjoy the weekend off and get to know more of the students. I told them that was ridiculous, and that I could do both, but they wouldn’t listen.”
“Perfect!” Pinkie Pie shouted. “You can get to know Sunset Shimmer better at my place! Sleepover~!”
Twilight Sparkle pushed her glasses up and glanced past Pinkie at Sunset, who stood against the exit with crossed arms. “Are you in on this, too?” she asked.
Sunset shook her head and lifted a hand. “Not exactly. I agreed that I could stand to get to know you—the real you, as in the you that isn’t my friend from a different dimension—a little better.”
“Oh, heh.” Twilight blushed and glanced away with a quiet chuckle. “I see. Well I guess I can’t really say no.”
“Nope!” Pinkie confirmed. “Now go grab your PJ’s and meet me at my place! Both of you!”
Sunset smiled brightly and scratched her head, then nodded towards the door. “I’ll walk Twilight to her room, then we’ll meet you at your place, Pinkie.”
Pinkie Pie stared at the two girls for a moment, then grinned from ear to ear. “Okay, you two do what you need to do, and talk about what you need to talk about. I’ll see you guys later.”
Sunset leaned back and laughed. “Okay then, Pinkie. See ya soon.”
“What was that about?” Twilight asked as their poofy friend walked away.
“I honestly have no idea… but I did want to talk to you about something,” Sunset said as they walked side by side down the hallway.
“Oh?” Twilight gulped. “What is it?”
“It’s just that I do realize that I’ve been keeping my distance from you this past week. I’m glad you decided to transfer here, because I know there’s something inside of you that you have to offer our friends… something that I’m missing.” Sunset grimaced and placed a hand to her chest. “I kept wishing that in some way you’d be someone that you aren’t, and that was wrong of me. You see, unlike me, you actually belong in this world. Whereas I kind of just shoved my way in and made this place my home.”
Twilight’s eyes widened and she fiddled with her fingers. “What do you mean ‘you don’t actually belong here’?” she asked.
Sunset sighed yet again and swallowed a lump in her throat. “I came here through the portal to Equestria… I’m a…a…” she stammered. “I’m a pony.”
“Oh…” Twilight watched her feet as she walked and bit her lip.
“And I’ve been feeling like I was just a placeholder waiting for you to come and take my spot. Like, you were always meant to be in my shoes in this school. You seem to me like you’ll be the friend that really ties the group together, and I guess I’m just a little…” Sunset trailed off and looked away.
“You’re afraid that I’ll push you out and steal your friends…” Twilight completed the thought.
“Pretty much.” Sunset admitted. “I’ve always had a hard time when it comes to these types of things. I went crazy with power once, and even after doing a full one-eighty and actually saving everyone from a magical disaster, I still haven’t fully redeemed myself in everyone’s eyes. You seem like a natural when it comes to fitting right in. No one even cares what you did.”
“Oh no.” Twilight chuckled. “You saw how well I got along with my classmates from my last school. I’m no social butterfly by a long shot. You’re the ones who turned this school into a big friend-centric hotspot before I ever showed up. I’m sure if not for that, then I wouldn’t have been forgiven so easily.”
Sunset shook her head. “Nope. That was Twilight.”
Twilight cocked her neck.
“Princess Twilight, I mean. She was the one who united the school. She was the spark that ignited all of the friendship you see around here. She’s just… perfect.” Sunset looked up towards the ceiling and stopped walking.
“Princess Twilight…” Twilight closed her eyes. “I don’t see how my alternate self gets to be so amazing while I’m really nothing special.”
Sunset felt a pang of guilt in her chest, then she placed her fingers on her forehead. “This is exactly what I wanted to avoid. There is no reason you need to compare yourself to Princess Twilight. I needed to realize that myself, first. I’m not perfect by any means—not even close—but that doesn’t mean that I’m not worth something to someone.”
“Right.” Twilight stepped up to a door and placed her hand on the knob. “You’re right about that for sure, Sunset. I’m glad you finally decided to have this talk with me. I can tell that you’ve been thinking about it a lot.”
Sunset blushed and nodded. “I’m glad too.”
“Don’t worry. I’ll try not to compare myself to a magical pony princess as long as you promise not to compare yourself to me. I promise that I’m not going to replace you, and I don’t think I could even if I wanted to. Believe it or not, but those five girls constantly talk about you when you aren’t around. You’re definitely here to stay,” Twilight said as she opened the door.
Sunset twirled her hair and smiled. “Thanks, Twilight.”
Twilight nodded and stepped into her room. She dug through her messy room and shoved several articles of clothing into her backpack, then pet her dog and scratched his chin before stepping back out. “Alright. I’m ready to go.”
“Good,” Sunset said. “Now let’s swing by my place and then we’ll head to Pinkie’s.”
“Sounds like a plan.” Twilight smiled and stepped up to her friend’s side.
“By the way, it’s pretty cool of Celestia to give you that old office as a place to stay during the school week, even though this isn't a boarding school.” Sunset attempted to peek through the closed blinds, then stepped back towards the school’s exit.
“Yeah. I appreciate it. This way I don’t have to take such a long bus ride to school everyday.” Twilight nodded.
Sunset playfully bumped her shoulder as they both carried on out of the school. Each girl smiled and giggled on their way to the sleepover.

Dear Princess Twilight,
I was just sitting here thinking about you again, and I wanted check in. I know you’re probably really busy with your responsibilities as Princess of Friendship, so I don’t expect you to get back to me anytime soon. That’s okay, though. Honestly, Twilight, it just feels really good to write to you when I’m feeling unsure of myself. I just know that you’d have something really uplifting to say to me, and knowing that is a huge help in and of itself.
Anyway, I finally let my walls down and I’m going to really, really become friends with this world’s Twilight Sparkle. I think I’m finally ready to let myself completely distinguish her from you, as an entirely different person, uncanny similarities aside.
She’s definitely not you, but that isn’t such a bad thing.
I miss you and can’t wait to see you again.
Your friend, Sunset Shimmer

Sunset closed her magical book and tucked it into her backpack, then zipped it up. Twilight sat on the floor next to Pinkie Pie wearing a small blue shirt and gray short-shorts. Pinkie Pie typed into her laptop while Twilight watched, and entertaining videos played on the screen.
Sunset smiled and climbed off of Pinkie’s bed to join the two on the floor, dressed in her magenta pajamas. “Watcha guys watching?” she asked.
Pinkie restarted a video of a cat chasing its own shadow across a room, then she fell onto her back in a fit of laughter. Twilight and Sunset glanced at each other and giggled.
Pinkie then reached into a pizza box and pulled the last piece from within, taking a large bite. “Mmm. ‘S’good,” she mumbled with a full mouth.
Sunset covered her mouth and chuckled. “Yeah, totally.”
Pinkie Pie leaned back up and rubbed her belly. “It was so good that I overstuffed myself with it… Now I’m getting sleepy. You girls getting sleepy? I’m… slee—” she stifled herself with a wide, deep yawn.
Sunset glanced to the clock over her shoulder and nodded. “It is getting pretty late, anyway. So what do you have planned as far as sleeping arrangements go?”
Pinkie fell flat on her back with her mouth wide open, snoring obnoxiously.
Twilight giggled and swallowed her last bite. “Looks like that’ll be up to us to figure out.”
“Yeah,” Sunset said as she climbed back onto the bed and patted the spot next to her. “Come on, there’s plenty of space on Pinkie’s bed for both of us. As long as you’re comfortable with that, I mean.”
Twilight nonchalantly threw her hands up and waved Sunset down. “Of course I’m comfortable with that. What’s not to be comfortable about? We’re just two girls that don’t know each other that well about to share a bed in another girl’s house that I don’t know very well. I’m fine.”
“Heh…” Sunset shrugged. “If you want I’ll go sleep on the couch in the other room. Really, it’s not a big deal.”
“No, no. You don’t need to do that.” Twilight stood up and brushed the crumbs off of herself. “I’m just a little nervous about… all of this,” she explained.
“Ah, I see. Well don’t be. I won’t bite,” Sunset said with a grin.
“I’ll take your word on that,” Twilight said as she crawled into the bed and pulled the blanket over herself, laying as straight as an arrow right on the edge.
Sunset reached over and placed a pillow beneath Pinkie’s head, then tossed a spare blanket over her. She then switched the lamp off and joined her friend beneath the blankets.
Twilight took a deep breath and sat her glasses on the nightstand next to her, her mind not at rest. Sunset heard a faint vibrating sound coming from the other side of the bed, and she blushed. “Hey, would you mind handing me my bag?”
Twilight leaned up and retrieved her glasses. “Not at all,” she said as she reached down and grabbed the backpack, noticing that it was vibrating with a dim purple light permeating the fabric. “Uhm… I won’t ask.”
Sunset giggled and opened her bag. “It’s just a magical book that I use to communicate with Princess Twilight. I’m actually surprised she got back to me so quickly.”
“Oh okay. It’s just a magical book… that you use to talk to a magical pony princess from a magical world. No big deal, right?” Twilight rubbed her forehead and took a deep breath.
“Right… I guess this is still a lot of information for you to process. Trust me: this will all seem commonplace in no time.” Sunset reached into her bag and grabbed her book.
Twilight shrugged and then rested her head back onto her pillow. “I sure hope so. I can’t say that I’m sure I’ll ever get used to all of this, though.”
Sunset offered a smile as she skimmed through her message. “Oh, hey. It looks like Princess Twilight will be visiting us in a few days. She says she’ll have some free time and she can’t wait to spend it with us.”
Twilight shivered and adjusted her glasses as she glanced over at Sunset, who sat hugging her book with a wobbly grin. “I’m still not sure how I feel about that, either. I mean, Princess Twilight seems really nice and all, but like we said before, she’s me in a way, and I’m her. It’s pretty difficult to fully comprehend it.”
Sunset tucked her book away and nodded. “I know how you feel. There’s another me around here somewhere too, and I’m just waiting to run into her one of these days. It’s definitely something to consider, but I can’t imagine that we’d really be the same person in any way at all, other than appearance of course.”
“What do you mean? How do figure that?” Twilight asked.
“It’s our experiences in life that shape who we are on the inside. There’s no way that the other Sunset Shimmer has done anything similar to what I have, and I know that I’ve changed so much thanks to these new friends… If anything, I’m afraid that the other Sunset won’t be happy in life… the way I wasn’t happy, and for the same reasons.” Sunset shook her head and fell backwards.
Twilight nodded and chewed on her fingertip. “You weren’t happy? Is that why you… did what you did?”
“Exactly,” Sunset said. “I let my own ambition drive me away from everything that mattered. I lost everything I had in Equestria… everything…”
Twilight sensed a sadness looming over her friend, and she rolled onto her side, reaching her hand out to Sunset’s shoulder.
Sunset felt Twilight’s sympathetic hand and took a deep breath. “It’s alright, because I have so much to live for now that I’ve made this place my home. I can’t worry about someone I haven’t even met.”
“That’s right,” Twilight concurred. “You seem to have a lot on your mind, too.”
“All the time,” Sunset said. “It really feels good to talk to you about this, though, Twilight. I feel like you really get it. As much as I love our other friends, they don’t seem to have a care in the world when it comes to this stuff.”
Twilight smiled and scooted closer to Sunset. “That’s definitely reassuring for me, at least. I’m glad that I was able to help you, even if it’s just by offering an ear.”
“It means a lot. Thanks.” Sunset closed her eyes and placed her hand onto the one that was on her shoulder.
Twilight gulped and blushed as Sunset’s warm hand cupped the top of hers. She bit her tongue and debated pulling it away, but she slowly eased up and let her muscles relax. Sunset finally slid her hand off of Twilight’s and used it to brush the hair out of her face.
“Hey, Sunset.” Twilight lowered her head and looked up through her glasses into Sunset’s eyes.
“Yeah, Twilight?” Sunset answered, making eye contact.
“I’m glad you decided to open up to me. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so comfortable talking to someone before.” Twilight blushed and closed her eyes. “I just thought you should know.”
Sunset looked down, laying on her side, as Twilight’s hands cupped themselves less than an inch away from her own. She smiled as her cheeks began to heat up, and she carefully spread her fingers so that the tips gently touched Twilight’s.
Twilight’s eyes shot open and she watched Sunset’s hands tentatively coaxing her fingers to spread open. With her heart skipping a beat, Twilight opened her hands and allowed her fingers to interlock with Sunset’s, who quickly grasped onto them.
Sunset gazed over Twilight’s head into the darkness as she felt their warm hands holding each other. “What are we doing?” she asked.
Twilight shrugged and kept quiet, but didn’t let go. Sunset squeezed a little tighter and closed her eyes. “Did we just bond?”
“I think so,” Twilight answered.
Sunset Shimmer fidgeted with her legs as a tingling sensation flooded her stomach and trickled through her entire body. “Twilight, I’m not sure what’s going on right now.”
Twilight inched forward and chewed on her tongue, then quivered. “I don’t know either. We can stop if you want…”
Sunset shook her head and let go of Twilight’s hands, then reached around her back and pulled her closer. “All I know is I definitely don’t want to stop right now,” she whispered.
Twilight whimpered as she was pulled in, nervousness overtaking her. “I...I don’t know what I’m doing, Sunset. I can't...”
“Shh. It’s alright, Twilight. Let’s just see how we feel after a while and go from there.” Sunset cautiously hugged Twilight and closed the last bit of distance between their bodies.
Twilight rested her head on Sunset’s arm as she was held, and she softly placed her hand on her friend's hip. “Okay. That sounds perfectly reasonable.”
Twilight tightly closed her eyes and rubbed her knees together, her body heat rising. Sunset sensed the movement in the otherwise perfectly still room, and ran her hand down Twilight’s body until she reached her restless thigh.
“You feeling alright?” Sunset asked.
“Yes,” she squeaked.
A sense of desire welled up inside of Sunset, and she grinned at the girl fidgeting in front of her. She closed her eyes and wondered what Princess Twilight would think if she could see the way they were lying together, but she quickly forced the thoughts away. She then slightly opened her eyes and licked her lips as she placed two fingers beneath Twilight’s chin to lift her head.
Twilight swallowed hard and held her breath as her nose brushed against Sunset Shimmer’s. She then felt herself shiver as she closed her eyes and pressed her lips against Sunset’s, who pressed back. Her mind ran a mile a minute. This is all happening way too fast, she thought as Sunset parted her lips.
Each girl felt as if time had frozen around them while their kiss held tight. Sunset delicately sucked Twilight’s bottom lip between her own two lips, and then parted them again, pressing forward. Sunset ran her hand across Twilight’s cheek, then through her hair as their lips pushed and pulled. A subtle whine slipped through Twilight’s mouth as their tongues connected, and Sunset pulled back.
“Are… are y-you okay?” she whispered, out of breath.
Twilight attempted to catch her own breath and nodded.
Sunset gulped and glanced back over her shoulder to see Pinkie Pie still fast asleep, no longer snoring. “We should probably be quiet.”
“I agree,” Twilight whispered before leaning back into Sunset’s lips.
The two reconnected with a deeper sense of aggression. Twilight had lost her reservations in the heat of the moment and took control, her passion overriding her rationality. She lifted her leg and bent her knee as she wrapped it around Sunset, then rolled over on top of her. Sunset rested on her back while Twilight straddled her on her knees, their kiss never breaking.
Sunset opened her mouth and let her tongue slide along Twilight’s as she ran her fingers down her back. Tingles shot up Twilight’s spine and she thrust her body against Sunset, who instinctively thrust back.
Twilight leaned back and wiped her mouth. “I don’t know what to do next,” she whispered with a coy smirk.
Sunset stifled a chuckle and nudged Twilight to one side, taking the lead. She sat up on her knees and placed her hands beneath Twilight’s shirt, then lifted it over her head. Sunset then removed her own shirt as she climbed on top of Twilight. She nuzzled her neck, then softly bit down on it, brushing her tongue against Twilight’s soft, salty skin.
A trembling hum escaped Twilight as Sunset kissed down her neck. Next, Twilight felt a hand sliding down her stomach and fingertips slipping beneath the elastic band of her shorts. She squeezed her eyes closed and ground her teeth, her heart racing as her stomach knotted up.
Sunset felt her friend tensing up, then she leaned in to whisper in her ear, “How far do you want this to go?”
Twilight didn’t answer. Instead she reached down and pushed Sunset’s hand lower, pressing it past her pantyline. Sunset pressed her lips against Twilight’s ear and softly kissed while her fingers ventured lower. Her middle finger reached a soft, sensitive nub. Sunset smiled from ear to ear as she rested the pad of her finger on the tender area, and rubbed it in rhythmic, circular motions.
Twilight squeezed onto the bed sheets with one hand and onto Sunset’s discarded shirt with the other. She spread her legs and chewed on her cheeks while pulsing sensations coursed through her body. Sunset licked at her ear and began to rub faster with both fingers.
“D-don’t stop,” Twilight muttered, her words one deep breath pouring from her chest.
Sunset pressed on with no intentions of stopping as Twilight’s back arched and her breaths grew heavier. Twilight’s toes curled up and she pressed her hand against her forehead, her body writhing beneath Sunset’s skilled fingertips.
“Okay,” she squeaked. “You can stop now.”
Sunset squeezed her legs together and she felt Twilight quaking. She reached down lower and dragged her fingers between Twilight’s slippery lips. “Already?” she teased.
Twilight blushed and hid her face beneath her hands, her forehead sweaty. “I’m sorry…”
Sunset giggled and kissed her friend on the cheek. “Don’t be. I was just kidding around.”
Twilight rolled over and kissed Sunset’s smiling lips. “In any case, that felt amazing.”
“Well we’re just getting started. If you liked that, you’ll love this,” Sunset said as she pushed Twilight onto her back.
Sunset crawled beneath the blanket and made her way in between Twilight’s legs, who shyly held her knees together. Sunset lifted them over her shoulder and reached towards her shorts, pulling both them and her panties down past her ankles. Twilight swallowed the nervousness rising in her throat and forced herself to relax.
Sunset pushed Twilight’s legs apart and leaned forward. She brushed her nose along Twilight’s hip line, then kissed the crevice of her thigh. She closed her eyes and stuck out her tongue, dragging it up the moist and salty center of her friend’s open lips.
Twilight bit down on her finger and forced herself to keep quiet as the sensations overwhelmed her body. Sunset opened her mouth widely as she repeated the motion of her tongue. After one final, penetrating lick, she focused the tip of her tongue back onto Twilight’s already stimulated nub. She then gently prodded her with an index finger and slid it into Twilight, then the next finger followed.
Twilight placed her own finger into her mouth and pressed her teeth into her it, feeling almost as if she could break the skin. Her legs wrapped themselves around Sunset’s back. With each deep thrust of Sunset’s fingers, Twilight rocked her hips in a matching motion. Within moments, Twilight felt a powerful pressure building in her stomach, and she began to suck on the finger she was biting. Her voice slipped into each of her heavy breaths as she grew closer to completion.
Sunset sucked Twilight's sensitive skin into her mouth while she worked her fingers, beginning to worry about the climbing volume of her voice.
Twilight shook and lifted her feet onto Sunset's shoulders as she quaked in Pinkie's bed. Her eyes then slowly opened and failed to find focus as she lost control of her senses, her legs falling limp.
Sunset removed her fingers and returned her tongue to the wet mess between Twilight’s legs, lapping it up with pleasure. She then crawled up the length of Twilight’s body until they were face to face. She held her two fingers in front of Twilight’s eyes and slowly parted them, creating a gooey string between them.
“Is that… me?” Twilight whispered.
Sunset nodded and placed her fingers on Twilight’s lips, who parted them and took the fingers into her mouth. Sunset beamed as Twilight licked her fingers clean, then went in for a kiss.
“I can’t believe we just did that. I mean, I can’t believe I just did that… to you.” Sunset wiped her mouth smiled.
“Well,” Twilight said as she reached down to Sunset’s pajama pants. “Now it’s my turn to do something to you.”
“Heh,” someone said from the other side of the room.
Sunset shot up and glanced from side to side, then her eyes locked on the shape of a girl standing at the foot of the bed. “Maude?” Sunset called, her face burning red.
“Bolder likes to watch…” she said with a dry, apathetic voice.
Twilight pulled the blanket up to her chin and squealed. “Who is that?!”
Pinkie Pie opened her eyes and began to rub them. “H-hello?”
Sunset scrambled to find her shirt, then quickly pulled it over her head. She then searched the messy bed for Twilight’s unmentionables to no avail.
“Are you looking for these?” Maude asked, holding out a pair of shorts with underwear still inside.
Sunset snatched them away and handed them to Twilight beneath the blanket. “This can’t be happening right now…”
Pinkie Pie stood up and spotted her sister. “Isn’t it past Bolder’s bedtime? What are you guys doing up?”
“Don’t worry, Pinkie. We were just leaving.” Maude hugged onto her pet rock and turned to walk out of the room.
Sunset sat petrified while Twilight quickly dressed herself under the covers. Pinkie Pie shrugged and smiled.
“Looks like you guys are taking the bed. I don’t mind sleeping on the floor, though. So it’s okay. G’night. See you guys in the morning.” Pinkie curled back up onto the floor and immediately began snoring.
Sunset glanced to Twilight, who wiped a bead of sweat from her forehead. “Phew, that was close.”
“We got caught… but, I’m not sure if Maude is going to say anything. She’s so weird.” Sunset scratched her head and fell onto her back.
Twilight rolled onto her side and latched onto Sunset. “Well, if worse comes to worse, we’re already caught. May as well let me take care of you now.”
Sunset shivered and sensed the wetness between her legs. “You know what? You’re right. May as well,” she said as she leaned back and bent her knees.
Twilight gave a quick nod and pulled the blanket over her head, then went to work.
Sunset Shimmer closed her eyes and bit her tongue as Twilight slid her pants down her legs. An image of Princess Twilight forced its way into her mind. She couldn’t wait to see her…
When the Sunset Goes Down, Twilight Comes
Sunset Shimmer leaned up from her pillow and wiped her groggy eyes as the late morning sunlight filtered through her bedroom window blinds and striped her bed. As she gained focus, she reached over toward her nightstand and fumbled around for her phone.
“Aw, what?” she grumbled as she looked at the time. “Worthless alarm…”
Sunset fell backwards onto her bed with her phone and noticed the six unread messages from Twilight Sparkle, a dull ache in her chest growing. She thought about what had happened between her and her friend only a couple nights ago in Pinkie Pie’s bed, then she considered what she wanted to happen between her and her other friend, Princess Twilight Sparkle, who planned on visiting her in only a few hours.
Am I a bad person? she wondered as she considered the fact that she’d spent nearly every waking moment with Twilight since that night. She then cringed and replied to the messages.
Shaking her head, she sighed and forced her legs over the edge of the bed as she tossed her phone onto the table next to her. Sunset then headed out of her bedroom and into her shower. She twisted on the hot water and lifted her pink shirt over her head, then slid her underwear down her legs. As she stepped into the steaming shower, the water soaked into her hair and trickled down her body as she stood still with lowered eyes.
I’m fine. Everything’s fine, she assured herself as a grin returned to her face. And Princess Twilight will be here soon.
Sunset grinned more widely as she closed her eyes and thought about the night she hoped she’d have. She grabbed her bottle of scented body wash and squirted a generous amount into her palm, then rubbed it onto her chest, thoroughly lathering herself. Her hand wandered down her belly, then between her thighs.
She smiled and bit her lip while her vivid imagination went to work.

Dear Sunset Shimmer,
I can’t wait to see you later, and I just couldn’t resist writing to you. It’ll be nice to have an entire day and night to unwind and not worry about anything for once. I’ve been thinking about this almost nonstop for the past few days, and I decided that staying the night with you is exactly what I need right now. There’s no denying that there's a mutual spark and connection between us, but that’s just the main reason I’m excited. I also decided that I’m going to get to know the other me a little better, too.
I decided that despite our minor differences, she and I are literally the same person. And honestly, who couldn’t stand to get to know herself a little better? I’m sure we’ll have a lot to talk about.
Anyway, I need to make sure everything is in proper order here, then I’ll be there. I miss you!
Love, Twilight.

Sunset leaned against the side of the portal with her arms crossed as she waited. Fluttershy and Rarity sat on their knees in front while they giggled and examined each other’s fingernails. Rainbow Dash and Applejack were absent, and Pinkie Pie snoozed atop the broken statue.
“It’s weird how quiet this place is on the weekend. The school almost looks abandoned,” Sunset said as she spotted a tumbleweed rolling over the barren sidewalks.
Rarity turned around and said, “Well I suppose it makes sense. Really, no extracurricular activities are ongoing at the moment. None that I'm aware of, at least.” She then shrugged and pulled out a bottle of turquoise nail polish.
Sunset nodded and looked towards the sky. “Has anyone seen Rainbow Dash or Applejack? Twilight should be here any minute now.”
Fluttershy shook her head and Pinkie Pie sighed loudly. Rarity glanced over her shoulder and scratched her head.
Pinkie leaned over the edge of the portal and let her long pink hair dangle down. “I think they’re ‘working on music,’ which is code for kissing. So yeah, I think they’re kissing in Applejack’s barn.”
“Oh really?” Sunset grinned and raised her eyebrows. “That’s awesome.”
“Is it now?” Rarity asked. “If you ask me those two just aren’t right for one another. One argument and it’ll be over. Too stubborn, the both of them.”
“Maybe…” Fluttershy added with a soft smile. “I think they’ll be just fine.”
Rarity tilted her head and softened her eyes as she looked into Fluttershy’s, still delicately applying polish to her nails. “You’re such a sweetheart, darling,” she said before gently blowing on Fluttershy’s freshly painted fingernails.
Fluttershy blushed and looked away while Sunset raised an eyebrow, lifting her finger before saying, “Wait, you guys too? When did this happen?”
Rarity stretched her arms, then turned around and leaned back into Fluttershy’s lap, pulling her arms around her chest. “It’s no secret. We’ve been tossing the idea of becoming a couple around for a while now, then it simply happened.”
Fluttershy nodded while Rarity played with her fingers.
“Looks like that just leaves you and me,” Pinkie said with a high-pitched giggle.”
Sunset shook her head, then was startled by an unexpected voice.
“I’m here!” Twilight Sparkle cried out as she clumsily jogged towards the group, wearing jeans and a hoodie.
Sunset gulped and stood straight as an arrow as Twilight immediately latched onto her with a tight hug, kissing her cheek.
“Scratch that, it’s just me left, then.” Pinkie shrugged as she dangled upside down over the statue.
“No, no.” Sunset gently pushed Twilight away and cleared her throat. “We’re not together. We’re just good friends now.”
Twilight’s eyes widened and watered as she backed away and grabbed her elbow. “Right… of course we’re just friends.”
The three other girls silently stared at the two, and Sunset crossed her arms and looked away. Twilight blushed and waved at her new friends.
“Nice to see you, dear,” Rarity said as she cleared her throat. “Are you here to greet the other Twilight, too?”
Twilight nodded and stared at her feet. “I also really just wanted to see…” She paused and glanced at Sunset Shimmer, who refused to return her gaze. “I just wanted to see all of my friends…”
Rarity tilted her head back and looked into the eyes of the girl sitting directly behind her, who closed them and kissed her forehead. Fluttershy then leaned down near Rarity’s ear. “I feel really, really bad for her right now,” she whispered.
Rarity nodded and squeezed Fluttershy’s wrists.
Twilight felt a sudden sharp jab at her heart, and she quickly turned away and clenched her chest. “Tell Princess Twilight I said hi… I have to go.”
Sunset gritted her teeth as Twilight quickly walked down the street, and she stifled a footstep in her direction. I really am a terrible person, she thought. What should I do? What should I do?!
“What in the world is going on between you two?” Rarity asked.
“Nothing!” Sunset balled her fist and shouted, her cheeks hot and red.
Fluttershy flinched and Pinkie sat upright. Rarity furrowed her brow and looked down. “I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to pry.”
Sunset placed her hand on her forehead and grimaced. “I’m so sorry, Rarity. Look, it’s just that something happened between us a couple nights ago, and I think we’re on different pages about it. Either that or we are on the same page and I’m just… Humph, I don’t know, okay?!”
“It’s quite alright, dear. I’m not sure I’m the one who really needs an apology, though,” Rarity said as she nodded towards Twilight, who trudged further away.
Sunset looked at Twilight, then at the portal. “But…”
“Princess Twilight will understand. Plus, you’ll have all night to spend with her since she’s staying at your place, Sunset.” Pinkie Pie smiled and nodded.
Fluttershy nodded in agreement. “This’ll give the three of us to a chance to catch up with her a bit before you guys start going on about magical stuff we don’t really understand,” she said.
Sunset groaned and rubbed her temples. “This is not how I wanted to start this day off… but that’s life, right?”
“Right. Now go set that girl straight. She deserves to know how you really feel--or don’t feel--about her.” Rarity smiled and leaned back against Fluttershy, who hugged her and nodded.
“I’m getting a bad vibe from all of this,” Pinkie said with a sigh. “I really just want to see Princess Twilight so I can get happy vibes again before I have to go back to work for the rest of the night.”
Sunset took a deep breath and nodded. “Alright… please tell Twilight I was here when you see her. Let her know that I had something really important come up, otherwise I would have been here. Okay?”
“Of course we will,” Rarity assured her as she shooed her away.
Sunset gave a quick nod then ran down the sidewalk after her friend. As she rounded the street corner, she spotted Twilight sitting on a bus stop bench. “Twilight!” she called as she approached her.
Twilight looked away and hid her face, removing her glasses and wiping her eyes. “Hi…” she said with a cracked voice.
Sunset took a seat next to her on the bench and grabbed her hand. “We seriously need to talk.”
Twilight turned to face Sunset with misty eyes. “It’s alright, Sunset. I get it. It was a one night stand, right? I’ve heard about it but I never imagined that I’d take part in one. I’m not really the type of person to engage in such--”
“No. Stop.” Sunset shook her head. “It wasn’t like that, Twilight. What happened between us was something special. It was so much more than a ‘one night stand.’”
Twilight lowered her eyebrows and scratched her head. “Then why… why did you push me away?”
Sunset groaned and forced her fingers through hair, pushing it back out of her face. “It’s so hard to say. Twilight, you’re a great person and I feel like we connect perfectly. That night in Pinkie’s bed, I looked at you for the first time fully as the Twilight Sparkle you are, and I wanted you for you. It was all in the heat of the moment, though. The truth is…”
“You belong to Princess Twilight…” Twilight finished the sentence.
Sunset paused, then nodded. “I’ve wanted to be with her since before I met you. She’s the only reason I’ve ever considered returning to Equestria at all. We write back and forth everyday, and I sense that she feels the same way about me as I do about her.”
“I understand.” Twilight clenched her fists and closed her eyes. “I won’t interfere with you two.”
Sunset’s heart ached as she sat at a loss for words. Her attention was then caught by a city bus slowly rolling to a stop in front of them. Twilight stood up and brushed herself off, but as she stepped forward to board it, Sunset grabbed her hand.
“Wait, please,” she said, holding Twilight’s hand.
Twilight stood paralyzed as the bus driver stared at her. “You coming or what?” he asked.
Sunset shook her head and tugged at Twilight, who snapped back to her senses and sat down. The bus doors closed and it carried on.
“Well… it’ll be another forty-five minutes before the next bus shows up,” Twilight said as she glared at Sunset. “What more can you say?”
Sunset glanced away and bit her lip. “I’m sorry, Twilight. I just… I just didn’t want you to go like this.”
“Why do you care? Shouldn’t Princess Twilight be here by now?” she asked with a scoff.
“Don’t blame her…” Sunset shook her head, still holding Twilight’s hand. “Would you believe me if I told you that I’ve never felt more at home than when I was laying with you that night?”
Twilight blushed and shook her head. “Why are you telling me this?”
“Because, Twilight, you deserve to know how I really feel.” Sunset reached over and grabbed Twilight’s other hand, holding them both. “I’m sorry if you don’t wanna hear it, but…”
“Do you care how I feel? This is really hard for me, too, you know. I thought we were a couple, but I was wrong.” Twilight stared at Sunset’s hands and sighed. “Now you’re holding my hands and making me feel the way I did that night again.”
Sunset squeezed her friend’s hands and smiled. “Of course I care how you feel. I think about it all the time.” She rubbed her thumbs over Twilight’s wrists and tilted her head. “You were so cute when we first kissed. I could feel your whole body tensing up. Why were you so nervous?”
Twilight blushed and put on a coy grin. “It’s just that I haven’t… well I was alone for so long at Crystal Prep. I just wanted you to like me the way I liked you. You’re so good at everything you did to me. I was afraid I’d be a bad kisser… not to mention everything else.”
Sunset laughed and shook her head. “You were perfect, Twilight.” She then shuddered, her heart pounding and her mind racing as an epiphany washed over her. “You’re perfect.”
“Uhm…” Twilight bit her lip and looked down. “Thanks?”
Sunset cleared her mind and took a deep, drawn out breath. “I’ve been being stupid, Twilight. I’m sorry if you got hurt because of me… I hope you can forgive me, and I really hope you still want to be my girlfriend.”
“You changed your mind about me?” Twilight asked, confused.
“Not really. I guess I just realized that you’re exactly what I want in my life right now. I mean, before you, Princess Twilight was the only girl I could relate to, and I guess that’s why I have such a deep crush on her. I think it’ll pass, though, especially with you around,” Sunset explained.
Twilight grinned and sighed. “This has been one roller coaster kind of day for me… I have a question, though.”
“Ask me anything,” Sunset said.
“Does Princess Twilight really have to stay the night with you at your place? I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep at all knowing that… not because I’m jealous or anything, it’s just that…” Twilight cleared her throat and blushed. “Okay I’m incredibly jealous. I’ve been jealous since before I even knew how you felt about her.”
Sunset scratched her chin and thought for a moment, then shrugged. “She has nowhere else to go since the rest of our friends have their own things going on, and Pinkie closes shop at the bakery on weekends… so, yeah.”
Twilight nodded and fiddled with her glasses. “It’s okay. I can trust you.”
Sunset’s eyes widened and she lifted a finger. “How about you stay the night with me, too?”
“I was hoping you’d ask!” Twilight beamed and hugged onto Sunset. “The only problem is that the school’s locked up and it’ll take forever for me to get home and back.”
“Don’t worry about it,” Sunset said. “I’ll let you borrow some clothes. It’ll be fine.”
Twilight’s eyelids lowered and she leaned towards Sunset, who closed her eyes and tilted her head as their lips met.
“You make me so happy,” Twilight said as they briefly parted, then she wrapped her arms around Sunset’s head and pulled her tightly into another deep kiss, her tongue slipping into her mouth.
“Ahem.” A voice sounded from the street corner.
Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Princess Twilight stood in complete shock as they watched their two friends passionately intertwined on a bench. Sunset failed to hear the voice, and Twilight Sparkle opened her eyes, looking up through her glasses straight into Princess Twilight’s eyes as she continued to make out with Sunset.
Princess Twilight blushed and averted her gaze. “This is awkward…” she said. “I didn’t realize that this was the ‘important thing’ Sunset had to do before she could see me.”
Sunset opened her eyes and leaned up, breaking the kiss. She glanced over her shoulder at her friends and forced a sheepish smile.
Twilight stood up and pulled Sunset to her feet, then hugged her and as she addressed the crowd. “Sunset and I are together now, after all. Turns out there was a little miscommunication, but now all is well.”
“I see that,” Rarity said as she clasped Fluttershy’s hand. “I’m… happy for the both of you.”
Fluttershy and Pinkie nodded in agreement, and Princess Twilight stared down and away.
“When did this happen?” Princess Twilight asked.
Sunset lowered her eyes and squeezed Twilight’s arms, who hugged her tightly from behind. “It happened a couple nights ago. I’m sorry I didn’t say something sooner, but it turns out that Twilight and I really connect.”
Princess Twilight shuddered as she watched Twilight kiss Sunset’s cheek. It was a sight she had imagined several times before, but she wasn’t prepared to see it happening from a third-person perspective. “I have to admit…” that this is completely ridiculous, and I never would have come had I known, she stopped herself mid-thought. “I, uhm… I have to admit that I’m really happy for you two as well.”
Sunset smiled and tilted her head, then walked out of Twilight’s grasp to hug Princess Twilight. “It’s really nice to see you.”
“You too, Sunset.” Princess Twilight hugged her friend, too nervous to look at Twilight. “So, Pinkie has to go back to work, and Rarity and Fluttershy were going to walk her there. I thought the two of us could get situated back at your place, then we could meet up there for a while, if that sounds good.”
“Right, about that.” Sunset glanced back to Twilight and smiled. “Looks like there’ll be three of us there tonight.”
“Oh?” Princess Twilight looked over to Twilight, who waved with a crooked smirk.
Twilight gave a quick nod and bowed her head. “I hope you don’t mind.”
“Not at all,” Princess Twilight assured her. “It’s just unexpected, really.”
Sunset stepped out from between the two as they spoke, and Twilight rapidly nodded. “I know, and I know all about what was going on between you and Sunset, too. I promise not to make things any weirder than they have to be, all things considered.”
Sunset lifted her hands defensively and shook her head. “She doesn’t mean that…”
Princess Twilight blushed and turned around. “Are you sure you even want me around, Sunset? I want to visit everyone, but I don’t have to stay the night if you don’t want me to.”
“Of course I want you to stay, Twilight. I also want you to get to know your other self a little better too. I’m sure you two will like each other a lot after you get past the strangeness of the whole interdimensional clone stuff,” Sunset said.
Both Twilights laughed with nearly identical quirkiness, then fell silent at the same time.
Rarity cleared her throat. “Well I just received a confirmation text that Rainbow Dash and Applejack will be arriving at the cafe shortly. We should be off, soon.”
Sunset nodded and gently nudged Princess Twilight towards Rarity. “You guys go ahead so Twi can catch up with everyone. This Twilight and I have some things to take care of back at my place first.”
Sunset grabbed Twilight’s hand and quickly led her down the road. “See ya soon!” she shouted as they ran out of sight.
Princess Twilight huffed and hung her head. “A lot sure can change in a week. Sheesh…”
***
Sunset pulled her house keys from her jacket pocket and unlocked her apartment door. Twilight walked in and took in the unique scent as she admired the cleanliness and organization.
“Nice place, Sunset.” Twilight smiled and nodded.
“Thanks. I know it isn’t much, but it’s home,” Sunset said as she leaned against the wall and twirled her keys around her finger. “It’s also very affordable. I’ll be able to pay for this place for a long, long time with my savings from Equestria. It’s a good thing gold is so valuable in this world.”
“Yep. People sure do love gold around here.” Twilight nervously giggled and played with her hair.
Sunset grinned and crossed her arms. “Does it still weird you out that I’m technically a pony from another world?”
“Maybe a little?” Twilight answered. “If I hadn’t seen so much myself, it’d be impossible to believe that any of this is real.”
Sunset chuckled. “I was the same way when I first discovered the portal. I really couldn’t believe it at all, at first. I was so sure that it was some kind of spell causing me to hallucinate this world, but sure enough, it’s all real.”
“It must be amazing, the world you come from, so full of magic,” Twilight said as she closed her eyes and imagined what Equestria must be like.
Sunset reached out and took Twilight’s hand, pulling her into a hug. “This world has plenty of magic, Twilight. Now that I’ve found you here, it has everything I need.”
Twilight blushed, then tilted her head as Sunset leaned in and planted a kiss. Her knees grew weaker as Sunset’s fingers ran down her back, and she shuddered. “Sunset…” Twilight called.
“Yeah?” Sunset whispered as she squeezed Twilight’s waist.
Twilight nuzzled Sunset’s neck as they hugged. “Why did you choose me, when it seemed like you had already chosen her?”
Sunset gulped and pulled on Twilight more tightly. “I didn’t necessarily choose you over her, Twilight. The truth is that I chose to be with you when I slept with you. It just took me until now to realize it.”
Twilight grinned, her face still buried in Sunset’s neck. “So then what made you finally arrive at this conclusion?”
“I’m not entirely sure,” Sunset said, stroking Twilight’s back. “I guess I sort of realized that I’ve been holding out for someone who I can never really have, and then when I was trying to let you down on the bench, it just hit me that you’re everything I want, and you’re right here in front of me, happy to spend your time with me.”
Twilight closed her eyes and her smile grew wider. “Thank you, Sunset. It means a lot to know how you feel.”
“Don’t mention it, Twilight.” Sunset took a deep breath. “So what about you? Are you sure you’re going to be okay with where I came from? With who I used to be?”
“Do you mean a power-crazed she-demon or a pretty little pony?” Twilight giggled and leaned back, looking straight into Sunset’s eyes. “You don’t have anything to worry about. I actually find your past to be extraordinarily fascinating. I have so many pent up questions that I’ve been waiting to ask you… when you’re ready, of course.”
Sunset smirked and shook her head. “Not yet. I’ll be happy to tell you anything you want to know about my past another time. In the meantime, I’m glad to know that you aren’t bothered by it.”
“So why did we come back here? You said you had some things for us to take care of?” Twilight asked.
Sunset nodded and urged Twilight to take a seat on her couch. “I just needed to talk to you about something in private.”
“Okay. What is it?” Twilight pressed her fingertips together and smiled.
“It’s just that there’s no way the other Twilight doesn’t know that I have a huge crush on her. So I’m trying to use this night to… you know, get it out of my system. I guess.” Sunset shook her head and bit her tongue. “Wait. What I’m trying to say is that by having her over tonight while you’re here will show that I’m with you, and we’ll all be on the same page.”
Twilight’s smile fell into a crooked frown as her eyes drifted down and away. “Well…”
Sunset cleared her throat and her cheeks turned red. “Just trust me. We’ll all be good friends before the night is over. I’m sure you two’ll get along famously.”
“If you say so,” Twilight said, not hiding her skepticism. “I just hope things aren’t too awkward.”
“They won’t be. I also want you to set some ground rules for me to help with that,” Sunset said.
“Ground rules for what?” Twilight asked.
Sunset rubbed her forehead and shrugged. “I just don’t want to do anything that makes you uncomfortable here.”
Twilight lowered her eyebrows and crossed her arms. “I really don’t have any that aren’t completely obvious, Sunset. What do you plan on doing that might make me uncomfortable?”
Sunset lifted her hand and tilted her head. “Nothing really. I just don’t want to hug her for too long, or kiss her on the cheek, if that’s something… or…”
Twilight cleared her throat and blushed. “Sunset, please. Whatever happens, happens. As long as you’re going to bed with me at the end of the day, then I’ll be fine.”
“Awesome. But you haven’t heard my ground rules for you yet.” Sunset laughed and grabbed Twilight’s hand.
Twilight returned her girlfriend’s laugh and played along. “Okay, what are they?”
Sunset lifted a finger. “One: You’re only allowed to kiss her if I get to watch.”
Twilight shuddered and rapidly shook her head. “No way! That’s like kissing myself.”
“What’s wrong with that?” Sunset asked with a devious grin. “You do plenty of things to yourself.”
“You’re joking, right?” Twilight asked as she curled up in the corner of the couch.
“Well I was, but now…” Sunset lifted a hand mirror off of her side table and handed it to Twilight. “Here, practice on this.”
Twilight kept a straight face narrowed her eyes, then was distracted by a sudden beeping sound coming from Sunset.
“Oh,” Sunset said as she lifted her phone from her jacket pocket and tilted her head. “Looks like Twilight is ready to come over. You can settle in here if you want and I’ll go walk her over. It’s only a few blocks so I’ll be gone for no more than twenty minutes.”
“Yeah, sure.” Twilight shrugged and sat the mirror down. “If that’s what you want.”
Sunset nodded and pointed towards the hallway. “Straight down that hall is the restroom, and the room to the left is my bedroom. Make yourself at home and I’ll be right back,” she said as she flashed a bright smile and turned away.
Twilight waved as Sunset latched the door behind herself, then she stood up and wandered around her friend’s home. She stepped into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator, eying a can of Coltacola. She cracked it open and rounded the corner into Sunset’s bedroom.
“Interesting,” Twilight muttered as her eyes darted around the neat and tidy room. She pulled out her phone and typed a text with her thumbs: ‘Mind if I change out of these clothes?’
Twilight walked up to a dresser and waited. A peculiar book that sat atop the dresser captured her attention, and she tentatively brushed her hand over the cover. Her fingers gripped the cover, and she bit her lip as she opened it up to the first page.
‘Dear Princess Celestia,
I can’t thank you enough for this opportunity. I feel like I’m already learning so much, and my magic is getting stronger everyday. You’ve opened up an entire world of possibilities for me, and I swear that I’ll never stop growing and learning. You said you saw unlimited potential in me, and I’ll see to it that you aren’t wrong.’
Twilight gulped and turned the page, skimming over a few more entries.
‘...I’m reaching my limits with these conventional means of study. I know you said never to resort to dark magics, but maybe their powers can be used and changed to suit our own interests…
...You said you wanted me to grow, but now you’re the only thing holding me back, Celestia. If you can’t understand what I’m trying to do, then maybe I…’
As the things she read grew darker, she shut the book. Twilight lowered her eyes and bit her tongue as she wondered just what Sunset had been capable of doing. I wonder what exactly you’ve been through, Sunset, Twilight thought.
She then took a deep breath and opened the book back up nearer to the end and found a different tone. The most recently used page was a message from Princess Twilight Sparkle, and she covered her mouth as she read it.
“Wow, you weren’t kidding, Sunset.” Twilight scoffed as she analyzed the writing. “This Twilight really does like you…”
BZZZT
Twilight’s phone vibrated. She smiled and read over her message. ‘Not at all. Your butt looks really cute in those jeans, though. Clothes are in the top right dresser drawer.’
Twilight giggled and slapped her own rear, an unfamiliar confidence coursing through her. She then returned her attention to the book sitting on the dresser. “Hmm, that’s probably enough snooping for one day…” Twilight told herself, then opened up the top right drawer.
She pulled out a pink shirt with a red and orange sun printed in the center, then removed a matching pair of pink capris as well. After undressing, she neatly folded her clothes and placed them on the floor next to the dresser. She then lifted Sunset’s shirt and pressed it to her face, deeply inhaling the distinct scent that soaked the fabric.
Twilight flinched and quickly pulled the shirt over her head as she heard the jingle of keys. After pulling up her pants, she brushed herself off and took several deep breaths. Alright, Twilight. It’s just another girl coming in, not you. She’s not you… she’s not me, I mean. She’s Twilight the Princess, not Twilight the Student. I can do this…
“Twilight?” Sunset called out from the front room.
Twilight gave herself a quick nod and marched into the other room to greet them. “Hey there, guys.”
“Did ya miss me?” Sunset asked as she skipped over to Twilight and wrapped her arms around her. “You look good in my pants,” she added.
Twilight giggled as she squeezed her girlfriend and glanced over her shoulder to Princess Twilight, who looked away and kicked at the floor. “It’s nice to see you again, Twilight.”
“Yeah. You too,” Princess Twilight replied.
Sunset stepped back and took a seat in the middle of her couch, then patted on the spots next to her. Each Twilight joined her on the sofa and avoided eye contact with one another. Sunset cleared her throat and lifted her hands. “I know you two probably still feel weird around each other, but trust me when I say that you two should be friends.”
Twilight nodded. “It’s really hard to know how to feel around her, I mean am I you, Twilight? Are you me? Some testing needs to be conducted.”
“I agree,” Princess Twilight said. “I actually did conduct a few tests back in Equestria after I first met you, and while most of the data is inconclusive, I did discover that you and I have some key qualities that separate us as individuals.”
“Like my eyesight?” Twilight asked.
“Exactly. Wearing glasses isn’t unique to your world, so it seems that in this semi-parallel universe, certain inconsistencies led to you needing glasses and me being the one to travel to your world instead of the other way around,” Princess Twilight explained.
Sunset yawned and rolled her eyes. “Alright, so now that we’re all sure you two aren’t the same person, let’s talk about something interesting.”
“Like what?” Twilight asked. “I actually find this topic to be very interesting.”
“Me too,” Princess Twilight agreed. “But I do have something you might find interesting, Sunset.”
“What is it?” Sunset asked as she crossed her arms.
Twilight rested her chin on Sunset’s shoulder and hugged her from behind while they both watched Princess Twilight, who stood up off the couch and reached into a saddlebag she was carrying.
“I brought this from Equestria because I wanted to give you something to remember your home world by, Sunset,” Princess Twilight said as she reached into her bag and pulled out a ruby the size of her fist.
Twilight’s eyes widened and she shook her head, then wiped her glasses before refocusing on the dazzling gem. “Where in the world did you get that?” she asked.
Princess Twilight handed it to Sunset and blushed. “These are relatively common where I’m from, but they’re incredibly rare and valuable here. I thought it’d be a good reminder to Sunset of the key differences of this world. Even though maybe she felt like she wasn’t special enough in Equestria, she’s definitely the most special girl in this world.”
“Thank you so much, Twilight.” Sunset took the gem and examined it carefully. “This means a lot to me.”
Twilight swallowed a lump in her throat and looked away. “That’s really something, Princess.”
“We really need a new name for you guys to call me when I visit…” Princess Twilight chuckled and scratched the back of her head.
Sunset laughed and shrugged. “What’s wrong? Princess isn’t good enough for you, Princess?”
Princess Twilight blushed and shook her head. “It is. I suppose you can call me that if you want.”
“It’ll just be until we come up with something better,” Twilight said. “So, I was curious about something.”
“Oh really?” Sunset leaned back into Twilight’s lap and grinned. “What’s on your mind, Twily?”
“Heh… Uhm, I was just wondering about the relationship between you two. I’m not trying to make things awkward between us, but I think it should be in the open.” Twilight closed her eyes and blushed. “Unless it’s just me, in which case I’ll shut up now.”
“No, no. It’s fine,” Princess Twilight said, plopping down on the sofa next to Sunset’s boots. “I had a crush on Sunset, partly because I knew what a crush she had on me. It’s all silly, really.”
Sunset lowered her eyes and stuck her tongue in her cheek.
“Oh. Well then…” Twilight coughed and placed a finger to her chin. “It’s just that I thought maybe it was a bit more than that, considering you planned to stay here tonight, just the two of you.”
Princess Twilight bit her lip and hid her face for a moment, then turned to look Twilight in the eye. “If you want me to be perfectly honest, the attraction was mostly physical. Sunset is a wonderful person, but it’s obvious that a real relationship wouldn’t work out too well considering I don’t get to see her very often.”
“‘Mostly physical?’” Twilight reiterated. “So, are you saying you wanted a one night stand with her? I keep hearing about these, but… I guess we are different people, after all.”
Princess Twilight quickly shook her head and dismissed the thought. “Not at all. I wanted it to be an ongoing relationship, but not too emotional. Oh my… this sounds bad, doesn’t it?”
“Kinda,” Sunset said with a huff. “You wanted me to be your friend with benefits?”
Princess Twilight covered her face and rested her elbows on her knees. “Not… Exactly. I mean, yes, that’s exactly it. I just hate wording it that way.”
“Don’t worry about it,” Sunset said with a chuckle. “I’d have totally been up for it if I didn’t start dating Twilight, here.”
Twilight lifted her hand to her mouth and lowered her eyebrows. “Why, though? Why Sunset, I mean?”
“I put a lot of thought and consideration into this,” Princess Twilight explained. “I’m certain Sunset realized what I wanted, and I think she wanted it too at one time. It’s just that this was going to be my escape from Equestria. It was going to be a place to unwind and let it all out, you know?”
Sunset raised her eyebrows as she looked up at Twilight, who incessantly pulled at her own dangling locks.
“I hate to admit it, but I know exactly what you’re talking about, Princess.” Twilight slowly nodded and closed her eyes. “I’ve been there… about a year ago. Sometimes, even when you’re surrounded by people, you still feel alone. I found someone else who felt that way, and on certain nights we would meet up and be alone together. I don’t remember her name, but then again we didn’t take it nearly as far as you two are implying.”
“Wait, so what did you do?” Sunset asked. “Just, like, kiss or something?”
“Maybe,” Twilight answered with a cocky grin. “Why? Jealous?”
“No, just curious.” Sunset huffed and crossed her arms.
Princess Twilight rubbed her chin and shook her head. “So you did something similar to what I wanted to do. You did it, but I’m unable to. Another inconsistency in the things we get away with.”
Twilight shrugged and looked down at Sunset’s body, sprawled across the couch, her boots nearly touching Princess Twilight’s thighs. “Well…” Twilight stifled herself and shook her head. “So how rough is your life as a princess?”
Princess Twilight threw her arms into the air and leaned back. “It’s so stressful! Everypony has a problem for me to solve, monsters are constantly trying to destroy everything, and I never get a break! Even when I try to take a break, everything goes wrong! Ugh…”
“Wow…” Twilight lowered her head. “I guess I don’t have it so bad just being a student, after all. I really feel for you, Princess Twilight.”
“Me too,” Sunset added. “I’m sorry things didn’t work out the way you wanted them to tonight, Princess, but maybe we can find you someone else?”
“Don’t worry about it. There’s no one else, Sunset,” Twilight explained. “I’m happy to just be away from the stress at all for a little while. Maybe it was a little selfish of me to want more from you than this.”
Sunset smiled and stretched out her leg, bumping Princess Twilight with the toe of her boot. “It’s not selfish. Twilight gets it, too. Right?”
Twilight gulped and took a deep breath at the same time Princess Twilight took an identical deep breath, and she smiled. “It’s almost like looking in a mirror sometimes.”
Princess Twilight giggled and shrugged as her eyes wandered up the length of Sunset’s legs and body, then landed on Twilight’s eyes. “You’re a lucky girl, Twilight.”
“Speak for yourself,” Twilight said. “You may have a lot of stress and responsibilities, but that’s because you have everything. It’s amazing that you’re a real princess of a magical world. I can’t even imagine…”
Princess Twilight sighed and glanced down to Sunset, who flashed a wide smile and closed her eyes. “I don’t have ‘everything,’ Twilight.”
Twilight looked away and shuddered. “I suppose, but between the two of us, Twilight Sparkle has everything.”
Princess Twilight grinned and tilted her head. “If you look at it that way…”
“Why not?” Twilight asked. “We both understand that while we’re separate as individuals, we technically are the same person in some way. Physically, we’re nearly identical. Why not emotionally, too?”
Sunset raised an eyebrow and leaned up. “What are you saying, Twilight?”
Princess Twilight pushed her wrists together and tilted her head. “Uhm…”
Twilight waved her hands back and forth and blushed with a wide smile. “It’s just that if I were Twilight, which I am, I’d want me to say what I’m about to say, and I think Princess Twilight knows it.”
Princess Twilight nodded and placed her hands over her lips. “I think I do.”
Sunset scratched her head and crossed her legs in the middle of the couch. “Okay, so do you two want to fill me in or what?”
Princess Twilight gestured towards Twilight, who nodded.
“I want to let Princess Twilight have her night with you.” Twilight crossed her arms and gave a firm, decisive nod.
“Yes!” Princess Twilight shouted. “Thank you so much, Twilight.”
“Wait. Don’t I get a say in this?” Sunset asked.
“Of course you do,” Princess Twilight said. “You and Twilight get to figure this out. I’m happy no matter what happens.”
Twilight reached over and grabbed Sunset’s shoulders, then squeezed them. “Remember your ground rules?”
Sunset grinned and nodded. “Yeah. So?”
“Excuse me,” Twilight said as she climbed over Sunset’s lap and sat next to her lookalike, “so I figured why not? I’m sure you want to see this.”
Princess Twilight froze as Twilight wrapped an arm around her neck, then leaned in and tilted her head. Their lips touched for a few seconds, then they parted.
Sunset watched with wide eyes as she sat against the arm of the couch. “That is so… hot.”
Both Twilights giggled as Sunset blushed and grinned. They then leaned back in for several more quick pecks.
“This feels strange,” Twilight said as she rested her hands on Princess Twilight’s shoulders.
Princess Twilight nodded and shrugged. “Yeah, but I don’t care right now. This is too much fun.”
Twilight reached out towards Sunset’s hand, who took it as she was pulled forward. Twilight then leaned over and kissed her girlfriend, their lips deeply interlocking with a quick flick of her tongue. As they parted, Twilight looked Sunset in the eyes and nodded towards Princess Twilight, who sat expectantly with wide eyes.
“You sure?” Sunset asked.
Twilight nodded and rested on her knees, her arm on Sunset’s back. “I am.”
Sunset licked her lips and leaned into Princess Twilight, who held a deep breath as Sunset’s lips wrapped around hers. She pushed harder and parted her lips, savoring the taste of Princess Twilight’s mouth.
Twilight tilted her head and placed a hand on her chest as she wondered why she felt absolutely no sense of jealousy whatsoever. She’s me, in a way, and I want myself to be happy, she convinced herself. “You know, Sunset, if this was anyone else, I would not approve.”
Sunset pulled away and wiped a string of saliva from her mouth as Princess Twilight drifted forward in a trance, her lips still puckered and eyes closed. “I wouldn’t want this with anyone other than you.”
“Good,” Twilight said as she took her turn with Sunset’s lips.
Princess Twilight placed her hands on each other girl’s shoulder. “Just so you know, Twilight. I would have done this for you, too.”
Twilight nodded and faced her twin. “I know.”
“You two are blowing my mind right now,” Sunset said as she rubbed her eyes. “I mean, seriously, this is the craziest thing that’s ever happened to me.”
“Me too,” both Twilights said in unison.
Sunset laughed and shook her head. “So… I’m just going to come out and ask this now, so we all know: How far are we taking this?”
Each Twilight glanced to the other and gave a mutual nod. Princess Twilight lifted her finger and grinned. “I know one place this is definitely going.”
“The bedroom?” Twilight answered.
“You got it,” said Princess Twilight.
Sunset gulped and steeled her nerves. “Is this really happening to me?” she muttered beneath her breath.
Twilight stood up and grabbed the princess’s hand, pulling her to her feet. “Don’t worry, Princess, Sunset knows exactly what we like. Assuming we like the same things, of course.”
Princess Twilight blushed and placed a finger to her chin. “I don’t see why we wouldn’t. Why not do what we do best?” she asked.
“Experiment,” Twilight answered. “Let’s do it.”
Princess Twilight grinned and bumped her knuckles together. “I can’t wait to learn more about how this body works. I can’t even imagine.”
“That’s right!” Twilight beamed. “These will be completely new feelings to you. I just had a fantastic idea!”
Princess Twilight rapidly nodded and hugged onto Twilight, jumping up and down with her. “Yes! You two can come through the portal with me next time and we can all experiment there, too!”
“You had the same idea! I’d love to experience something like that. Do you think I’d be able to use magic there?” Twilight pulled Sunset into their celebration, who wore a crooked smirk.
“Probably! Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, though. We have some experiments to conduct here first,” Princess Twilight said as she grabbed both girls’ hands.
Sunset shook her head and frowned. “I really don’t want to go back there…”
Twilight placed her hand on Sunset’s shoulder and sighed. “That’s alright. We’ll figure it all out later. It was just a thought. Let’s focus on tonight for now.”
“Shall we, then?” Sunset asked as she nodded towards her bedroom.
The trio walked down the hallway and into Sunset’s room. Twilight took a seat at the foot of the bed and leaned back on her elbows. Princess Twilight joined her, laying next to her on her side.
Sunset widened her eyes at the sight before her. “This has to be some kind of crazy dream.”
Twilight held her hand out and gestured over Princess Twilight’s body. “Go ahead, Sunset. Let’s help the other me out with her stress.”
Sunset rolled her eyes and chuckled. She then crawled onto the bed and climbed over Princess Twilight, who rolled onto her back and went limp. Their lips met, then she leaned down and kissed her neck, her hands slipping beneath her shirt.
Twilight rolled onto her side and watched, grabbing ahold of Princess Twilight’s hand while Sunset unbuttoned her shirt.
“This is what you want, right?” Sunset asked as she sat up on her knees and tugged Princess Twilight’s skirt down her thighs.
“This is what I need,” she answered.
Twilight giggled and brushed the hair from the princess’s warm, red cheeks. “It’s so strange that I know exactly how you feel right now,” she said. “It’s even stranger that I want this so badly for you. I really don’t get it.”
Princess Twilight smiled and nodded as Sunset pulled her skirt past her boots. “I don’t get it either, but I know how you feel, Twilight.”
Sunset tilted her head and smirked. “Where did you get these weird argyle boots, anyway?” she asked. “Are these the original ones you came through the portal with? No offense but they’re hideous. I bought new clothes right away when I went through.”
Princess Twilight shrugged as Sunset slid one off her leg. “I’m not sure. They just appear on me when I go through the portal and I didn’t think to get different ones. Do you really not like them?”
Twilight adjusted her glasses and squinted. “So the portal materializes your clothing? I thought you wore a similar pony outfit on the other side, and it just transformed with you.”
“Not at all,” Princess Twilight said as she leaned up. “It’s another mystery I’ve yet to solve. I also noticed that Sunset’s clothes disappeared when she entered the portal while I was thinking about it a while back.”
“Wait, you guys are always naked over there?” Twilight asked with a gasp.
“Focus, girls.” Sunset scoffed. “Let’s not derail this sexy train just yet, ‘kay?”
“Right,” they said in unison.
“You know, Princess, I have a few good ideas as to what you mind enjoy, considering I’ve been on both sides of the portal for a long time.” Sunset grinned widely and removed Princess Twilight’s other boot.
“That… makes sense,” Princess Twilight said as she glanced away.
Sunset Shimmer tossed the boot over her shoulder and placed her index finger on her big toe. “You aren’t used to these yet, for example.”
Twilight giggled while the princess bit down on her fingertip. “Not really.”
Sunset grabbed her foot and ran her finger straight down the center. She felt Princess Twilight recoil as she laughed.
“Hey that tickles!” she shouted as she squeezed Twilight's hand and flexed her toes.
“That’s the point,” Sunset said as she laughed. “This body has a lot of new feelings, trust me. Let me show you.”
Both Twilights grinned and nodded as Sunset crawled back onto the bed.
While Sunset returned to Princess Twilight’s mouth, Twilight grinned. She looked down her doppelgänger’s body and bit her lip as she noticed the slight bend in her knee and the way she was torn between clenching her fist and grabbing Sunset’s back. Twilight thought on it, and recalled that she was exactly the same way.
Sunset lowered her hips and pressed herself against Princess Twilight’s pelvis, spreading her knees. Twilight licked her lips as she saw Princess Twilight’s legs lifting, then she frowned as they fell back onto the bed.
“Go ahead, Princess,” Twilight said as she reached down and grabbed her leg, lifting it onto Sunset’s back. “I know you want to. And I really mean it; I literally know you want to.”
Princess Twilight burned red as she turned away from the kiss. “You do?”
“I do,” Twilight answered. “I’m pretty sure I can guess about ninety percent of the things you want to do right now.”
Sunset cocked her head with a devious grin. “Wait…” she said as she lifted a finger. “You know just what to do to drive her crazy, don’t you?”
“I do!” Twilight shouted with a mischievous chuckle.
Princess Twilight’s heartbeat quickened as she hid her blush with her hands.
“You have to reveal all of her quirky fetishes, Twilight. You have to!” Sunset demanded as she pinned Princess Twilight’s arms to the bed. While simultaneously and inadvertently revealing your own, she thought as she unleashed an evil laugh inwardly. Muahahaha!
“Okay,” Twilight said as she sat up on her knees and gently nudged Sunset to the side. “Watch this.”
Princess Twilight wore a half smile as Twilight licked the tip of her finger and dragged it from the bottom of her bellybutton to the top of her pubic bone, then traced a horizontal line beneath her stomach along the top of her pelvis. She shivered as chilling tingles shot through her body, and she was caught between a moan and a giggle.
Sunset watched closely and took mental notes. “Geez, you really know how to get yourself going.”
“I’m ticklish there, but it also feels really good when I’m…” Twilight cleared her throat. “You know.”
“I had no idea what was coming,” Princess Twilight said as her tingling faded. “I’ve never felt anything like that before.”
Twilight winked as her eyes wandered the length of her body, and she considered everything she wanted the princess to feel. “Interesting. This means I know some things about you that you don’t know yet, since you aren’t too familiar with this body. We have a unique opportunity here.”
Sunset reached down and stuck her fingertip beneath the elastic band of Twilight’s underwear, and tugged. “Let’s learn all about Twilight’s body together, then.”
“I’ll be the teacher,” Twilight said as she placed her hand on Sunset’s and helped her pull.
Princess Twilight bit her lip and lifted her rear as her panties were pulled down her legs. Twilight rubbed her hands together before she reached down and lifted Princess Twilight’s legs, her hands resting beneath her knees. As she held them up, she crawled forward and rested the girl’s feet on her shoulders, then opened her mouth and dove into her gooey slit.
Princess Twilight gasped and bit down on her fingertips as she squeezed her eyes shut. Sunset smirked and crossed her arms with a raised eyebrow. “Wow. You wasted no time at all…”
Twilight leaned up and took a breath. “This is what I want, Sunset,” she said, then went back down.
“Noted…” Sunset glanced away, then looked back at Princess Twilight, who arched her back and writhed beneath Twilight’s tongue.
Twilight leaned back up and raised her finger, her glasses foggy. “You see, Sunset, when we were together, we had to be careful and test each other’s limits before we got too carried away and scared the other one out of doing what we wanted to do. In this case, I already know I can do whatever I want, because I know I want it and won’t refuse.”
Sunset scratched her chin and watched her girlfriend enjoy the taste of a mirror image of herself. “I see, I think. So, what would she, or you, refuse at this point?”
Princess Twilight flinched and shook her head at the first thought that popped into her mind, and Twilight leaned up yet again. “We’re not telling…”
Sunset’s mind wandered as she imagined the possibilities. Her train of thought was interrupted as Princess Twilight’s voice stole her attention.
“Oh wow,” she said as she lifted her knees higher.
Twilight wore a look of pure determination as she sucked on Princess Twilight’s skin and dragged her tongue in tight circles. She closed her eyes and smiled as she felt her subject’s body jerk back and tremble, her tongue flatly dragging up the center of the wetness.
Princess Twilight squeezed the sheets and stretched her legs out, huffing and moaning.
“That was a lot faster than when I tried that,” Sunset noted as she quizzically rubbed her chin.
Twilight leaned up and wiped her slimy mouth with a cute shrug and coy smirk. “Don’t use your finger next time,” she said with a wink.
“Oh,” Sunset said as she slouched back, sitting on her boots.
“Now’d be a good time, though,” Twilight added as she crawled forward and shoved her tongue into Princess Twilight’s mouth. She swiftly reached down and slid two fingered into the girl she was aggressively kissing.
Sunset gulped and sensed a wetness growing between her legs as she watched.
Twilight leaned up and bit her lip as she focused on her finger work. She bent her second knuckles and rhythmically forced them deeper and deeper until she found what she was aiming for. “Sunset, get naked,” Twilight said as she increased the speed of her hand.
“Yes ma'am,” Sunset replied with a chuckle, then stripped off her shirt. She then stood off the bed and kicked her boots off, then peeled down her leggings and panties in one go.
Princess Twilight’s eyes scanned over Sunset’s flawless physique as she felt herself squeezing against Twilight’s fingers.
“She wants you,” Twilight said as she nodded towards her face.
Sunset pumped her fist, then reached down take her turn pleasing her friend. “Yes!”
Twilight shook her head and smacked her hand away. She then removed her fingers and wiped them on her shirt. “That’s not what I meant. She wants to taste you.”
Sunset shrugged and lifted her leg over Princess Twilight, straddling her chest as she scooted forward on her knees. Sunset grabbed the headboard of her bed and bit her tongue as Princess Twilight wrapped her hands around her waist and pulled her against her mouth.
Twilight lifted off her shirt and kicked off her pants, then climbed on top of Princess Twilight, lightly sitting on her stomach as she reached around Sunset and grabbed her breasts. She pulled Sunset upright and leaned over her shoulder, biting onto her neck.
Sunset let her voice slip into a deep inhale as she felt a tongue slide inside of her while Twilight nibbled on her neck and ear. Her skin became dotted with goosebumps as she chewed on her tongue and her vision lost focus.
Twilight ran her hands down Sunset’s sides and hips, then placed them onto Princess Twilight’s chest. Knelt down, she licked straight up the center of Sunset’s back.
“Ooh.” Sunset giggled beneath the sensation, her breaths heavy.
Princess Twilight squeezed the tops of Sunset’s thighs as she worked her tongue back and forth. She made eye contact with the girl she was enjoying, her face mostly obscured.
“You’re so… hot…” Sunset managed between gasps.
Twilight licked her lips and stood up on the bed, then carefully stepped over her friend and took a seat on the headboard. She spread her knees and grinned, reaching into Sunset’s hair and pulling her down. Twilight closed her eyes and squeezed her thighs against Sunset’s silky hair, wrapping her legs around her back.
Sunset held onto Twilight’s waist as she attempted to focus on the task in front of her, her stomach tightening and her legs shaking. She pressed her mouth against Twilight’s wet spot as breathy moans forced their way out, and she smiled.
Princess Twilight detected twitching on her tongue before Sunset lifted her hips. She wiped her mouth and slid down the bed beneath her partner, then sat upright.
“Done already?” Twilight giggled and pulled on Sunset’s hair, lifting her head.
Sunset blushed and shrugged. “I can’t help it… You guys are too much.”
Each Twilight gave the other a confident nod of approval.
“I think it’s time to start getting a little more serious with Princess Twilight’s deepest, darkest desires. Don't you think?” Twilight asked, deviously rubbing her hands together.
Sunset rapidly nodded, still on her knees as she looked up into Twilight’s eyes. Princess Twilight glanced away and blushed.
“I’m not even sure what all that might entail, Twilight,” Princess Twilight said as she cleared her throat.
“Well I have a couple ideas to get us started!” Twilight said, spry and chipper as ever. “It’s because I know what I want, so you must want it too.”
“Okay so get on with it then, Twilight.” Sunset held her hands up and pleaded.
Twilight raised an eyebrow and nudged Sunset onto her rear as she took a seat on the pillows beneath the headboard. “Okay, but you better not make fun of us, because this might get a little weird for all three of us if you're really sure want to go there.”
“Don’t worry about it, Twilight. Believe me when I say I’m up for anything you might throw at me,” Sunset said as she licked her lips and stared at Twilight’s chest.
“Okay. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.” Twilight pulled Princess Twilight next to her, then finally removed her bra. “Wait right here, M’Lady.”
Twilight jumped off the bed and found Sunset’s boots, where she removed one of her socks that was balled up within and carried it to Princess Twilight. She stretched the long sock out and placed it into Princess Twilight’s mouth, then tied it around the back of her head.
Sunset squinted and tilted her head while Princess Twilight’s eyes seemed lost in bliss.
“Don’t worry…” Twilight said, hiding her face. “We like this.”
“Whatever floats your boat, I guess.” Sunset shrugged. “I never would have guessed, though.”
“We’re just getting started,” Twilight added, then grabbed the back of Princess Twilight’s head and pulled it back, revealing her neck. “Bite her, Sunset. Hard.”
“A-are you sure?” she asked.
“Mhmm.” Princess Twilight nodded and smiled over the sock in her mouth.
Sunset bared her teeth as she crawled over Princess Twilight and latched them onto her neck. She bit down and sucked on her flesh more forcefully than before, and her fingernails dug into her back as she straddled her lap.
“That’s good, Sunset. Get her nice and wet.” Twilight moved to the opposite side of Princess Twilight. She swished her tongue around in her mouth, then dragged it across her cheek, leaving a wet trail. “Spit on her.”
The sock grew damp in Princess Twilight's mouth as she bit down on it. She closed her eyes and moaned while she felt Sunset’s slippery tongue slide across her neck, the saliva dripping down to her back.
“You’re a really dirty girl, Twilight.” Sunset smiled and leaned up. “I love it.”
Emboldened, Twilight pulled on Princess Twilight’s hair, leaning her head further back. She then shoved her fingers against the moist sock, pushing it deeper into her mouth. “Look how much I like it.”
Sunset leaned back to see Princess Twilight’s hand between her thighs. She pulled her hand away and spread her legs, lifting one up over her shoulder. Then she positioned herself so that their legs interlocked.
Princess Twilight gyrated her hips as she pressed herself up against Sunset, who in turn rocked her hips back and forth, their most sensitive areas grinding against the other's thigh.
Twilight broke a wide smile as she watched Princess Twilight’s eyes roll back, then she reached down and untied the sock. She stuck her fingers deep into her mouth, holding it open and she stuck her tongue out and let a thick bead of saliva roll off the tip directly into her mouth.
“Sit on me, Twilight.” Princess Twilight waved towards herself and revealed her tongue.
Twilight lifted her leg over Princess Twilight and lowered herself against her mouth, then felt the girl’s hands tightly grasp her thighs and she was yanked down. Facing Sunset, she hugged onto the princess's leg.
Princess Twilight wiggled her toes in front of the two other girls’ faces as she deeply tongued Twilight. Sunset stuck her dripping wet tongue between the princess's toes as she pressed her groin down harder, a slippery mess beneath her. Their smooth, rhythmic motions became sharp jerks as they lost their breath.
Twilight grabbed Sunset’s hand and sucked on her fingers as she noticed her flushed cheeks and dizzy eyes. As Princess Twilight licked and sucked at her sensitive skin, Twilight sensed a quickly approaching orgasm. She tensed her muscles and pushed the leg out of her way as she tugged Sunset into a tight hug, their glistening bodies cool to the touch.
“I’m… almost…” Twilight said with a broken, breathy voice.
Sunset grinned and shoved her tongue into Twilight’s mouth as the girl moaned, her hands on her cheeks, pulling her tightly into the kiss. Twilight’s body went limp and she leaned forward into Sunset’s arms, who wrapped them around her as she fell backwards between Princess Twilight’s legs.
Endorphins flooded Sunset’s body as she squeezed Twilight, who rested on top of her with crooked glasses. Princess Twilight leaned up and crawled towards the two, joining them at the foot of the bed.
“That… was intense,” Twilight said as she rested on Sunset’s chest.
“I definitely needed that,” Princess Twilight added as she placed her hand on Twilight’s back.
Sunset yawned with a wobbly grin. “I’m tired now.”
Twilight rolled onto her side and wrapped an arm over Sunset’s chest, who laid on her back while Princess Twilight hugged her from the other side. The three gorgeous girls rested naked, sweaty and satisfied.

The sun drifted high into the sky and sent its warming rays through the windows of a lucky girl’s apartment. The shadows cast from her blinds striped the room as she sat on a couch between two nearly identical beauties.
“You guys were amazing,” Sunset said, wearing a black tanktop as she pulled each girl closer, her arms around their necks. “I just can’t believe how dirty you are. I admit it was pretty hot watching you spit into her mouth, though.”
Twilight giggled and pushed up her glasses in Sunset’s pink shirt. “That wasn’t even the half of it. We’ll have to show you the rest next time.”
“You’ll have to show us what you like, too,” Princess Twilight added as she finished buttoning up her shirt.
“Next time?” Sunset smiled brightly. “You mean this wasn’t a one time thing?”
Each Twilight glanced to the other and mutually chuckled.
“Last night was because I wanted myself to be able to enjoy myself, so to speak.” Twilight placed a finger to her lips and nodded.
“And I appreciate that,” Princess Twilight said. “I’d have done it for you, too, you know.”
“I know.” Twilight stretched her arms out and yawned, then tilted her head and closed her eyes. “I can’t believe I ever doubted that I’d like getting to know you.”
“I know, right?” Princess Twilight nodded. “I can’t believe how quickly I stopped feeling weird around you. It just feels right now.”
Sunset scratched both of their heads. “This still feels pretty surreal to me. I’m not complaining, though.”
Princess Twilight flashed a grin, then stood up and straightened her clothes. “Well… I should be heading back soon.”
Sunset and Twilight each groaned.
“I wish you could stay a little longer,” Sunset said as she joined Princess Twilight in a hug.
Twilight wrapped her arms around them both and frowned. “Me too.”
Princess Twilight closed her eyes and melted into the warm embrace. “Me too, believe me,” she said before steeling her nerves and taking a deep breath. “I have to go.”
Sunset leaned forward and tilted her head as she planted a kiss on the princess's lips. After they parted, Twilight did the same. “We’ll miss you,” they said together.
“I’ll be back as soon as I can, alright?” Princess Twilight nodded and clenched her fist. “It won’t be more than a week. I promise.”
“I’ll hold you to that,” Sunset added as she waved.
Twilight waved her fingertips and winked as Princess Twilight blew her a kiss.
The princess then stepped through the front door and shut it behind herself, leaving a deafening silence in the apartment.
Sunset and Twilight stood silent, holding each other’s hands. They touched their foreheads together and closed their eyes.
“Thank you, Twilight,” Sunset whispered.
Twilight lowered her head and rested it on Sunset’s shoulder, hugging her tightly. “It was a fun night for all three of us.”
“It was an amazing experience.” Sunset smiled as the glint of the large ruby sitting on her side table caught her attention. “Hey…”
“Yeah?” Twilight leaned back and tilted her head.
“Wanna take a trip to Equestria?” Sunset asked with a crooked smirk.
“I’d love that.” Twilight beamed. “But I thought you said you never wanted to go back there…”
“With you by my side, I think I’m ready to face that place again.” Sunset took Twilight’s hand and stood up. “Thank you, Twilight.”
Twilight let out a deep exhale against Sunset’s neck and smiled widely. “I’m so happy to hear you say that.”
“If we hurry we can catch up to Princess Twilight,” Sunset said as she pulled Twilight towards the door.

“And that’s where Centaurs come from,” Pinkie Pie said to a group of terrified little foals.
“What?”
