Chapters I flew through the air, the wind going so fast it nearly obscured my vision. The wind feels cold as ice against my fur as I tumble and spin. I love flying. It's my passion. And I couldn't imagine not having it! I laugh excitedly, free falling onto a cloud, which surrounds me with water and makes me even colder. And i don't give a flying feather! "Wooh hoo!" I shout, caught up in the moment. I fly, faster and faster, looping around, when BANG! I look up. "Oops! Sorry, Rain Blitz." I apologized.
"It's fine, Rainbow Dash. We've all had it happen to us." She chuckled. She was a good sport.
"I bump into ponies on accident all the time!" Derpy Hooves added. I smiled. She can always cheer me up. In her own way...
"What's going on, anyway?" I ask Rain Blitz.
"You don't know? There's a HUGE downpour scheduled in a few minutes." She told me.
I did a double take. "WHAT? We weren't scheduled for that, Rain."
She shook her head. "Mr. Weather Storm wanted to do another one of those 'Weather Drills'."
I groaned. "I thought that was a one-time-only thing."
"Nope. I got this one. You sit it out, Rainbow."
I smile. "Thanks, Blitz. I owe you a shift."
She shook her head. "Naw, you took my place Tuesday, remember? We're even."
"Oh. Alright, see ya." I took off. So much for flying, I think grouchily.
I settle into bed and look over my mail.
"Bill. Bill. Bill. Bill. Overdue urgent bill. Advisement. Ooh! Daring Do Fan Club letter!"
"WHAT!" I'm dumbfounded.
In bright letters.
Be there to see the new Daring Do movie!
"On my gosh on my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh! This is amazing!" I squeal. I calm down a minute, because I'm going to wake somepony otherwise. But still!
Since when does A. K. Yearling make movies? Not that I'm complaining...
The first thing I'll have to do tomorrow is re-read the series from Twilight's library. But I know she's probably asleep by now. Ugh. I try to get some sleep anyways.
The next day...
I opened my eyes, full of excitement. I look at my clock to make sure I'm not TOO early.
"4:30! Perfect!" I zoom out and head to the castle.
"Twilight! There's going to be a new Daring Do-"
"Movie!" Twilight finished. "I know!"
We take a minute to fan-girl, jumping up and down.
"Wait. Don't tell me, you want to-"
"Read them all before hoof!" I smiled.
Twi rolled her eyes. "Help yourself to the library."
I smiled eagerly, and soared into the next room.
I always knew where to find 'D' on the shelves, and quickly flitted over. But they weren't there!
"Twilight! They're not here!" I panicked.
Twilight shrugged. "Well then, somepony must have gotten the news and came here first. Sorry Rainbow. You're welcome to try something else if you'd like."
I groaned, but i had nothing better to do. I flew over, and was browsing when I noticed something new. 'My Little Dashie'. I grabbed it and dashed to Twilight.
"Twilight? What's this about?" I showed her the book.
"Um... I have no idea. Huh. That's odd. Well, you're welcome to it if you'd like." She shrugged.
I want to read the books, but the movie isn't coming out for a year or two. And I AM curious. Why not... I thought to myself. Though I suppose it's not really a surprise they wrote a book about me, I reasoned. Though still...
"Yeah, yeah I think I will. Thanks, Twilight."
"No problem. I can't believe I never saw that. I'm going to look over all my books. What if I missed something else?" She started mumbling to herself.
I kinda took a hint and flew off. I had a book to read.

I close the book and lay my head down, lost in thought.
I had a real dad. My pony dad has died when I was little, but I had another one. What if I could find him? I HAD to find him.
Suddenly, anger filled me up as it dawned on me. They knew! My friends knew about this and never told me! How could they? Celestia taking me away and Twilight performing that memory spell! They had NO right to do that!
What if he's still out there? I have to find him!
"Rainbow Dash? Are you alright?"
I look down. Rarity.
"What do you mean? Why would you care?" I reply coldly.
"What? Of course I care, I'm your friend! And I mean, you look as though you've been crying! What happened?"
I'm enraged. "What happened? You all betrayed me, that's what happened!"
Rarity is shocked and hurt. Good, I think bitterly.
"I don't know WHAT you're talking about, Rainbow Dash, but if I did something, then I'm sorry."
"OH SURE!" I snap. "AND WHY SHOULD I BELIEVE YOU AFTER YOU LIED TO ME!"
"I- I don't know what you mean... When, when did I lie to you, Rainbow?" She stuttered.
"It wasn't just you! It was everypony!" I told her fiercely.
"Perhaps you should talk to all of us, Rainbow Dash. We could have a meeting, if you think that would help..."
"Are you-" I stop myself. "Actually, that sounds perfect, Rarity." I tell her calmly.
Rarity looked relived. "Excellent! I'll go call up the others, and-"
"And I can ask why you've all been lying to me!" I finished. "Good!"
Rarity trotted away, looking hurt.
That's what she gets. She deserves it for doing that to me. All of them.
Later, in the castle...
"Rainbow Dash, Rarity told us you were mad at us. Are you okay? What did we do?" Twilight asked cautiously.
"Will all of you stop playing dumb!" I yelled.
Twilight shook her head. "What do you-"
"Does THIS ring a bell?" I showed them all the book.
"The book from yesterday. What about it?" Twilight inquired.
"Read the last chapter and see if it starts up any memories for you!" I told her.
Twilight began reading. And finished.
"Oh Rainbow," She started gently, "You don't honestly believe this is true, do you? Because it's not."
I growled. "LIES! " I shouted, infuriated.
"Dash, it's just a book. It isn't-"
"Stop lying to me! My dad is out there somewhere, and I'm going to find him! And NONE of you are going to stop me!" I grabbed the book and zoomed off.
I don't know what I was expecting, and apology at least! For them to help me, or give me a good reason for why they did it. But not this!
I flew and flew, tears filling my eyes to the point where I had to rely on my other senses to guide me through the woods. I could find a portal or something. I would eventually find myself in the forest from my real home. I would see him sitting by that one tree where we talked. I would finally have him back.
To occupy myself, I try to remember some of my old memories. But for the life of me, I can't. Why did they have to do such a good job! I thought they were my friends! But my whole life had been a lie! And it was all! There! Fault! UGH!
Why wasn't I there yet! This was taking longer than I thought it would.
I realized I would have to stop, and continue tommorow. I hugged the book for comfort, and found myself in a small cave. It was freezing and raining, kind of like when dad and I met at that tree, after our fight.
I smiled to myself as I tried to sleep. I bet when I wake up, he'll be right there next to me, just like in the story. I sighed, turning away from the rain. I'll see you tommorow, dad.

"Rainbow Dash, wait!" Twilight yelled after her.
"What in the hay was that about Twi?" Applejack asked.
"Rainbow Dash read that book, and it's not real, but she thinks it is!"
"I know THAT!" Applejack said. "But what in that book made her SO mad at us?"
Twilight sighed. "To put it briefly, this is the story: A human finds a filly Rainbow and raises her like a father. Then, on her 15th birthday, Celestia and all of us come to take her away. I erase Dash's memory, and that's it. At least, that's what I gathered from reading the last chapter."
"But how can she believe that's what happened? Even for me, that's super hard to believe!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.
"I don't know," Twilight said, "But she must REALLY believe that!"
"Oh, poor Rainbow Dash! We have to find her!" Fluttershy said.
Twilight nodded. "Agreed. Let's go, who knows how far she's gone between then and now. We have to hurry."
Everypony else nodded, and followed Twilight out of the castle and into the Everfree Forest.

I'm in a dark room of sorts. I feel around, but I don't think I'm in the cave anymore... Well then, where am I?Rainbow Dash...

"AHH!" I look around. I'm still in the cave. It was a dream.
I caught a glimpse of him! Now maybe I'll know what he looks like! Yes!
But it's still kind of late. I think I'll just catch a few more winks.
"Rainbow Dash! Where are you?"
I bolt up. It's Twilight! They're here to stop me from finding him! I can't let that happen.
Rubbing my eyes, i leap into the air as quietly as I can.
I stick to the trees, trying to avoid sight. I can hear them, but just barely. They're far away, but I can tell their catching up.
I perform a Sonic Rainboom to my left, then skid to the right. That'll fool them!
"Girls, did you see that? She's over here! Come on! Rainbow Dash!"
I smile, but avert my focus back onto the sky. I can't afford to get sidetracked.
I'm flying for hours, when suddenly I see a figure out in the darkness.
"Dad?" I call out.
"It is I, not your dad, though I hope that isn't bad." It's Zecora. I sigh.
"Ah it's you, hello Rainbow. Why are you here, if I might ask so?"
"I'm trying to find my dad." I tell Zecora. "Have you seen a human by chance?"
"I know not where he might be, but would you like to come back with me? I haven't seen him but, you are welcome in my hut." She told me.
I think a minute. I want to find dad as soon as I can, but my energy is draining fast. "Sure." I say. "Thanks."
We finally arrived there, but I hesitated by the door. "Are you sure, Zecora? I don't want to intrude."
Zecora shook her head. "It is fine, you are a guest, but may I ask, where are the rest?"
"They betrayed me. I'm going to have to find him myself." I tell her.
"I'm sorry to hear you are the only one, but how can your 'dad' be human?"
"He's not my birth dad, but he cared for me in the human world since I was a filly." I explain.
"If that's true, Rainbow my dear, then why is it you are now here?" Zecora questioned me.
"Because my friends erased my memory and took me back here!"
"If you lost your memory, how can you say this to me? Did your friends tell you the truth about what happened in your youth?"
I shook my head. "No. They're playing dumb with me. I read it in this book." I showed her the book.
Zecora hesitates. "Often in a book, words are deceiving, are you sure this is what you should be believing?"
"Yes. I'm positive."
"Rainbow Dash, see out the truth. You shouldn't do this without proof." Zecora tells me.
"Why won't anypony believe me? MY DAD IS OUT THERE!"
"Rainbow Dash?" I hear Twilight yell.
I smack my hooves to my mouth. Stupid yelling! Now I've done it!
"Zecora! Hide me!"

*Update, Not Chapter* The Future For This Story
Long story short, I'm thinking about expanding the universe of My Little Daddy. I've got a few ideas, such as:
Don't get me wrong, I don't want to jinx this. If I don't feel there's a need for a sequel, there will not be a sequel. However, if a reader DOES want more, I basically posted this so you can see what ideas I already have and vote on your favorite. If you have a preference or idea, be sure to post it in the comments! (I'll read every suggestion and give credit.)

"Zecora, we're coming in!" Twilight yelled. And she busted down the door.
"Rainbow Dash!" Twilight cried, relieved. Soon, everypony was surrounding Rainbow, hugging her.
"Oh, we were so SO worried! Are you okay, Dashie?" Pinkie asked.
Something clicked in Dash, and she threw them off. "DON'T CALL ME THAT!" She snapped.
"Rainbow, you've got to know this isn't real-" Twilight started, but Rainbow Dash interrupted.
"SHUT UP!" Dash was now crying. She has broken down. "Sh-shut up. It's real."
"Rainbow Dash, how could it be? How could any of this be true? He-" Twilight couldn't do it.
"He's not real." Applejack stated lightly. "I'm sorry sugarcube, but he ain't."
Dash whispered. "I know."
"I-it's just, after losing dad when I was so little, well, I barely knew him. And, the idea that, that I had another one, it just- I was willing to believe anything. Even that he was human. I know you girls would never betray me, and I know there's no spell that could send me there. Heck, who even knows if humans are real?"
"Oh, I wouldn't say THAT." Pinkie Pie said, thinking of Lyra. "Who knows, they may even be watching us right now."
"Huh?" Applejack shook her head.
"Um, never mind. Emotional moment." Pinkie chuckled nervously.
"You can even go to Princess Celestia if you'd like." Twilight said.
"No, I believe you. Just like I should have in the beginning." Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes. "I'm sorry."
"There's nothing to be sorry about." Rarity smiled.
"We're just sorry that you're so upset. I was so worried!" Fluttershy said.
Twilight nodded. "We all were."
"Although it's hard to see this dream end, you'll overcome it, with help from a friend. Have hope, Rainbow Dash my dear, and know that we are always here." Zecora smiled.
"Thanks Zecora." Dash said.
"Any time, Rainbow, you are welcome, you know."
Back at the castle, Pinkie Pie had thrown a 'Rainbow Dash is back, and she's okay, and we're all together again' party. Rainbow Dash hugged the book tightly. "Thank you." She secretly whispered to it. Then she went off to join the party.
Everypony was so busy, that nopony saw the book flip open to the first page, as words appeared.

Then, there was a blue flash, and the book disappeared.
Though many tried to look for it, nopony could ever find it. Nopony except one.
But it wasn't Rainbow Dash, or even Twilight. It wasn't even Celestia. It was somepony you'd never expect...
