My Little Pony: The Upgrade
My name is Fluttershy, or as every bot knows now, FlutterBot.
You know, I never intended to tell anypony like you, or anypony at all my "life" story. I always thought that I would just keep the new and "improved" Equestria to myself. After all, I'm the only cyborg that was programmed to remember what happened to me in the past. I remember everything that lead up to this moment right now. I just never thought I'd be talking to all of you out there reading this. This is my story of how I destroyed the only world I've ever known...
It started on a cold, foggy day in Ponyville. No big thing about it though; Ponyville has been known to make quite a fog every once in a while. Nothing really had changed that week. It was all the same old, same old. It was just...boring. Tired. Eerie, in a way. See, I never really liked the fog since it reminded me of dragon smoke (I'm afraid of dragons, if you didn't know, or at least I was.) I always hid in my cottage on a foggy day, looking out my window every now and then just to make sure a real dragon wasn't outside my door. You could never be too careful, right? Well, something was going to go wrong that day... something that I could never forget, no matter how hard I tried...
I heard something outside as the day went on. Just a small thump close by. I shook at the thought of a dragons tail slapping against the ground outside, but I tried to control my fear as I turned the somewhat shiny doorknob and opened the door, which creaked slightly as I did so. I put my hoof out into the fog, and when I looked around, I couldn't see anything in sight, due to the fog. My eyes shot around once more. Then I heard it again, but it was louder than before. Thump. THUMP. THUMP! I slammed my door shut and I lay against it, shaking harder than ever. I saw that my drapes were to the sides of my windows, so I closed them, leaving the room in a shadow. Now that I didn't mind. Half the time, I always kept my room that way and my friends would tell me that it was weird I did that for no reason, but I had a very good reason then. Then something smashed the windows. They broke the glass and it went flying everywhere, a shard landing in my head and causing me to black out.
Long after that, when I woke up, my eyes were burning. They burned with a fierce pain. I didn't know what was really happening at first, but as my vision came to focus, I realized that a bright light was leaning over me and shining directly into my eyes. I screwed them against the light, and I tried to sit up, but my front hooves were latched to the cold, hard, metal table that I was laying on, but of course, I couldn't see that. I could only feel it.
