I was walking through woods in the middle of no-where. Something caught my eye. Movement. I turned raising my sidearm, the Colt M1911. I saw nothing. Creeped out, I slowly backed away, when I heard a twig snap behind me. Whipping around, I saw something that shocked me.
"What the hell?" I said, trying to keep my cool. A miniature horse? A multi colored miniature fucking horse? I must be tripping balls. "What are you? That is, if you don't mind me asking... Said the fucking miniature horse with yellow fur, and a pink mane. Oh and she had wings. Yeah, I am high.
"Um... What kind of drugs am I on?" I asked, not feeling like I did any drugs, or remembering taking any drugs.
"What? Drugs? Drugs are very, very bad." Said the what I assumed was a miniature pegasus, of sorts.
"Ether I am high on drugs, or I have gone Insane." I said, rubbing the back of my head, only to find I was wearing my combat helmet, and gasmask. I slowly took off the gasmask. She, or so I assumed it was a she, acted as if I was taking of my face. Then she saw my true face. My Blue eyes, My brown hair, and my non-perishing frown.
"What is wrong?" She asked, concerned.
"Life." Was all I needed to say. I moved past the most likely miniature pegasus-mare, thing. It didn't follow, maybe it noticed my blood covered axe on my back. I pulled my gasmask back on, out of instinct. I noticed a town. It didn't look familiar. I thought about what I needed. Food, water, ammo, weapons, and a map. I pulled my binoculars, and saw more of those damn horse-thingies.
Okay, not high, and maybe not crazy. I slowly made my way towards the town.
When I got there, I hid behind a trash can, in a ally. These horses-what was the word for a small horse...Oh yeah pony- these ponies seemed to act like a normal person would. Key word normal.
I then saw the same pony that I saw back in the woods, I heard a little bit of the yellow pony's conversation with five others. One had a cyan blue coat, wings, and a literal rainbow mane, another had a orange coat and a blonde mane and was wearing a cowboy-style hat, another had a pink coat and a pink mane, another had a horn, a white coat, and purple mane. The last one had a lavender coat, purple mane with a lavender stipe going down it, and she had both wings and a horn.
"You saw a bipedal creature, and-" was all I made out before a cat knocked a can over, causing them to look in my direction. I did what my instincts told me to do, Run like hell back to the woods. I began my full-on sprint, and I heard one say 'That's the thing I saw.'
I looked back, they were following me. I tipped over trash cans, and anything I could to slow them down. I looked again, all but one lost me. The rainbow one still was on my tail. Just as I was about two-thirds of the way there, the pony tackled me.
"Ha. You thought you can outrun-" she started, but didn't finish as I kicked her in the snout. She flung back, and landed on her back. She was knocked out, and her nose was bleeding pretty bad. I briefly thought of killing her, but instead I ran into the forest, after hog-tying her and placing her on my back.
She later woke up, to see me by my campfire. Then she noticed the dry blood on her muzzle.
"Where am I?!" She demanded, catching my attention.
"Not sure, but I want answers." I said, gripping my all-use combat knife. She stared in horror at me, then my knife, then me, then my knife.
"Question one. What is your name?"
"Rainbow Dash, the fastest flier in all of Equestria."
"And you just answered question two. So, Question 3," I said. " What the hell are you?" That is when she picked up I was interrogating her.
"You don't scare me. And what is 'hell'?"
I put the knife to her neck. "Now are you scared?" I asked, as she gulped.
"I am a pony, a pegasus to be more exact." She said, and I moved the knife away. I couldn't think of any questions for now.
"Alright, ask me questions if you must."
"What are you?"
"A human. I also have a name, It is James. James Johnson."
"Why did you show no fear in killing me?!"
"Because, if I had, witch I won't, you wouldn't be my first kill."
"W-what do you mean?!"
" Where I am from, the dead got up, and killed. The ones they killed got up and killed. There was a zombie apocalypse. The dead roamed the streets, yada yada blah blah." I said. This was true, The world was now mostly filled by zombies.
"So, do you know any survivors?"
"I did, they were eaten alive." I pulled of my mask, allowing her to see my real face. I had a very grim look on my face. I sat down by the fire.
"Are you hungry, Rainbow?" I asked, pulling out my last apple.
"Yeah, a little." She said, and I gave her the apple, and untied her front hoofs. I pulled out a can of beans and heated it over the fire. This was going to be a long night. I thought as I ate, then went to sleep.

Well, I you are reading this, maybe not though, I am back in action.
I woke up around three in the morning, to a intense growl. Not here, too. I pulled out my sidearm and a flashlight. Flicking the flashlight on, I was expecting to see a zombie. I didn't see anything close to that at all. What the hell?
"Uh, Rainbow? What is that?!" I called, still pointing the gun at the beast. It had the tail of a scorpion, the body of a lion, the wings of a bat, and the horns of a bull. Dash snored on. Must be a deep sleeper. I picked her up.
"GAH! What is it?!" she asked, irritated.
"What is that, Thing?!" I said showing her the beast.
"That is a Manticore! Run!" She said like it was a common threat here. I, still holding her, ran like hell. I felt a pain in my leg, and I fell. Rainbow Dash rolled a bit, and looked at me, to see I had some sort of spike in the back of my leg.
"Dash! Your wings are not tied! Get out of here!" I yelled.
"Bu-but..."
"Just leave me!" I said rolling onto my back. I pulled my M1911, and aimed at the threat.
CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! Click.
After I emptied my magazine into the Manticore, It dropped. I looked to see dash did listen. Good. I flipped back on to my stomach and tried to crawl my way out of the forest. Before long I heard trotting.
"Hello?!" I called to see what appeared to be soldiers. Only they were ponies. There must have been fifteen of them! I have had a really, really bad experience with the military, so I nearly panicked.
"Shit..." I said, then noticed they all looked like they were scared. "I-I need help. I am bleeding." I said, and it seemed the ponies then noticed my wounds.
"Oh. You are hurt." Said one of the soldiers. She then pulled out a small first-aid kit. She then pulled out a syringe, and I knew it was going to make me fall asleep. It did.
For once, I awoke in a hospital, surrounded by the six ponies I saw earlier. The one with both wings and a horn broke the silence.
"What in Equestria are you?"
"Twilight, give him a break. He survived a zombie apocalypse." Dash said, to defend my honor.
"Rainbow, zombies are not possible." She retorted.
"Go to Earth, and you'll be proven wrong. Zombies roam the streets. I killed like.... twenty of them? I lost track." They all froze when I said 'Killed'. The one with a horn and wings' horn lit up, and I felt very tired. I fell asleep.
