My Little Pony: The Human

Chapter two: The guard.

Previous Chapter

I woke up around three in the morning, to a intense growl. Not here, too. I pulled out my sidearm and a flashlight. Flicking the flashlight on, I was expecting to see a zombie. I didn't see anything close to that at all. What the hell?

"Uh, Rainbow? What is that?!" I called, still pointing the gun at the beast. It had the tail of a scorpion, the body of a lion, the wings of a bat, and the horns of a bull. Dash snored on. Must be a deep sleeper. I picked her up.

"GAH! What is it?!" she asked, irritated.

"What is that, Thing?!" I said showing her the beast.

"That is a Manticore! Run!" She said like it was a common threat here. I, still holding her, ran like hell. I felt a pain in my leg, and I fell. Rainbow Dash rolled a bit, and looked at me, to see I had some sort of spike in the back of my leg.

"Dash! Your wings are not tied! Get out of here!" I yelled.

"Bu-but..."

"Just leave me!" I said rolling onto my back. I pulled my M1911, and aimed at the threat.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! Click.

After I emptied my magazine into the Manticore, It dropped. I looked to see dash did listen. Good. I flipped back on to my stomach and tried to crawl my way out of the forest. Before long I heard trotting.

"Hello?!" I called to see what appeared to be soldiers. Only they were ponies. There must have been fifteen of them! I have had a really, really bad experience with the military, so I nearly panicked.

"Shit..." I said, then noticed they all looked like they were scared. "I-I need help. I am bleeding." I said, and it seemed the ponies then noticed my wounds.

"Oh. You are hurt." Said one of the soldiers. She then pulled out a small first-aid kit. She then pulled out a syringe, and I knew it was going to make me fall asleep. It did.

For once, I awoke in a hospital, surrounded by the six ponies I saw earlier. The one with both wings and a horn broke the silence.

"What in Equestria are you?"

"Twilight, give him a break. He survived a zombie apocalypse." Dash said, to defend my honor.

"Rainbow, zombies are not possible." She retorted.

"Go to Earth, and you'll be proven wrong. Zombies roam the streets. I killed like.... twenty of them? I lost track." They all froze when I said 'Killed'. The one with a horn and wings' horn lit up, and I felt very tired. I fell asleep.
