Fallout Equestria: Syndicate
Introduction
Load Full Story--Introduction
Equestria, the land of peace. Well, for a while at least. Recently Equestria has gotten knee-deep in some war shit and is struggling for superiority. Eventually, the whole land was coated by radiation, and other hazards, by the Zebras, the main hostility at the time. Megaspells and Balefire Bombs, so they called it, obliterated the land, destroying the remaining foundation of Equestria. Hope was not near. Luckily, Stables were created to shelter ponies from the holocaust above. Thick concrete and steel walls were constructed to save the ponies from the transformation taking place on the surface. The Stables were meant to open, and most of them did, but Stable-Tec intentionally kept close some Stables for experimentation of other sorts. Stable-Tec had lied in plain sight, and no pony knew it. When most of the Stables opened, death and radiation was there to greet them. Still, with the incapability to destroy itself, pony-kind thrived into factions, for several generations, until reality was almost restored. Now don't get me wrong, dangers were still imminent. I never said peace was restored, only the "living-on-the-surface" part. Blood and hell still rose upon everything else. Nothing else was important. If you got shot, no big deal. You die, you're just another rotting corpse contributing to the foul stench in the air. Everything was war-torn and deadly.
Now, me, Misty Breeze? I was just another lab assistant, in a Stable, sealed shut for all of eternity. Nobody made the plunge, and if they did, they expected the Stable door to stay shut behind them. As far as we knew, the surface, or "outside" was hell. Irradiated hell on Equestrian soil. We all knew that we were safe. All snuggled up in our cozy Stable 889 Utility Barding. We were educated. Happy; Well, most of us at least. And best of all: We were safe. Damn propaganda machine that we call "Overmare." And, little did we know, hell always catches up.
