Chapter One : A Rainbow Crystal

It was New Years Eve, and Pinkie Pie was planing a party for the town!

She was gonna have some Cider, Punch, Balloons, Fireworks, anything you could think of!

Crystal Bolt, Twilight Sparkle, and Rainbow Dash, Had all spent the night at Rainbow Falls.

On their way to the party.......,

"So, what are your new year resolutions?" Crystal was curious, she wanted to know before anypony else.

"Uh...erm...there is a pony I really would like to confess feelings too...."

Rainbow dash was blushing, but smiling, at Crystal!

Twilight, have had feelings for Rainbow, noticed this, and just looked away.

"Oh...." Crystal saw the look too, and was pretty sure she knew what it meant.

"Um, me too, actually....." As the silence fell, Twilight looked sad, afraid her suspicions were right.

Breaking the dreadful silence "So! Twilight! What is yours?!" She said loudly, and nervously.

"Huh? Oh, sorry." She blushed, as her thoughts left her, "Same as you guys, weird, huh?"

She tried to act cool with this with what was the product of a fake smile and a poor laugh.

"We better get a move on if we wanna get to town by next year." Rainbow said is a sarcastic smile.

"Yeah, we um, better." Still a little confused by what just happened, and wishing she never asked a certain question, Crystal just studied Rainbow and Twilight the rest of the way there.

As they arrived at the party, Pinkie greeted them with a smile, and a very hyper version of herself.

"So! What do you guys wanna do first?!?!" She said in a scary smile.

"Wanna dance? Get fireworks set up?! AND WHY ARE YOU HERE 5 MINUETS TILL THE SHOW?!?!?!?!"

"Gah!" Crystal yelled as all the girls jumped back!

"Sorry Pinkie! We had a hard time getting back in the dark." Twilight said in a hopeful expression of getting to Aj and Rarity soon, Fluttershy was staying a distance away for the fireworks.

"Well, you just wasted 2 minuets! Now it's only 3 till midnight!"

Pinkie ran off to prepare the fireworks.

"Is she crazy or what?!" Crystal whispered to Twilight and Rainbow.

"Pinkie! One minuet till midnight!"

Applejack was with Rarity, helping keep watch on the time.

As everypony started counting down, Rainbow got a little closer to Crystal, everytime they said a number.

"3,2,1! HAPPY NEW YEAR! Now kiss the closest pony to you!"

Pinkie yelled, going to ask Fluttershy what she thought of the fireworks.

"Wha.." Rainbow pulled Crystal, and kissed her with what seemed to be a passion, neither wanting to pull away, let it last for a bit, as Twilight just watched in jealousy.

As they pulled away, Rainbow looked her In the the eye and asked "will you got out with me?"

Stilled stunned that she liked what just happened, and wondering why, she answered with light nod of a yes.
