In a world where the red-blooded serve the silver blooded elite, Rarity is a common noble mare of red and silver blood, living in Prance. But when the unimaginable happens and Rarity discovers that she is fully silver-blooded, the king covers up the scandal by claiming she is a lost elite Princess, and betrothes her to one of his sons. Rarity quickly becomes accustomed to the exquisite ways of life in her new home, until she discovers that all of the elites have supernatural powers, and a rebellion is forming to overthrow the them.
