//-------------------------------------------------------// My Little Pony: The Minecraft Diaries -by _gamerpony_- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 Octavia and I finished collecting the dirt before nightfall and we managed to build the safe shelter as well, Sunset had created a list of exactly what she wanted on it, we followed it closely making sure not to miss anything on it, for if we did, Sunset would make us start all over and we'd have to spend the night worrying about whether we would live or not, we studied the shelter closely, it was humongous, which explains why we spent half the day just collecting the dirt, satisfied with our work we decided to go back into the house just as the sun was setting, we came in and saw Sunset rummaging through her chest. "Oh, no, no, no! I can't have lost it!" "Uh, Sunset?" Octavia hesitantly asked, Sunset jumped and quickly turned toward us closing the chest. "Oh, hi, did you girls finish the shelter?" She smiled awkwardly. "What were you looking for?" I asked curiously. "Oh, nothing you need to worry about, Viola- I mean Violetta." Again was that awkward smile. "Okay... and yes, we did finish the shelter." I replied feeling uneasy. "Oh, fantastic! Um, why don't you two head to bed? It's been a long day..." "Aren't you gonna look at it?" Asked Octavia. "I'll take a glance in the morning... now off to bed you two! We want to make sure you both have lots of energy in the morning because we're going mining!" She said faking excitement. "And by 'we' do you mean all of us?" I asked. "Yep." "Alrighty then... I'll just be off to bed then..." I said as I slowly walked to my bed and tucked myself in without breaking eye contact with Sunset, who was still awkwardly smiling. "Me too..." Said Octavia and unlike me she quickly got into her bed and closed her eyes, I closed my eyes as well and soon I was back to my world of dreams. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 Diary Entry #1 It was strange, very strange, the whole feeling of us falling, well... I don't really know if falling is the right word, anyways, we were being teleported into this new world, I can't remember why though, none of us can remember, it's been about a month now, we've managed to build a small shelter out of wooden planks with very few windows, I've been dying to write everything down, I have this strange desire for doing so, I've finally been able to gather some sugar cane and craft a journal, along with a feather I managed to pluck from a chicken to make a quill, Sunset and Tavi are sleeping and I'm sitting here writing all this down on my bed, straining my eyes from the dim light of the one torch that tries to enlighten our entire house, I'll explain the rest tomorrow, I'm quite tired, this is Violetta signing off until I feel the desire to write again. Reality: I yawned as I placed the journal and the quill on top of the crafting table beside my bed, I looked across from me to see Sunset and Octavia snoozing away on the beds in front of me, Sunset's bed is to the very right and Tavi's is to the left, I snuggled into the covers and let my own world of dreams capture me from this new block-like world we have adapted to. Morning: "Violetta, get up!" Sunset shook me over and over again until I finally sat up. "Why do you need me so badly? You can't wait 10 more minutes?!" I frowned at her and look around the room, "where's Octavia?" "She was the earliest one to get up, so she's out there collecting useful resources." I looked out the window above my bed and saw her digging the ground with a stone shovel. "Yes, because dirt is so useful..." I rolled my eyes and stood up. "It is actually, I'm planning to build a little safe shelter beside that cave, and dirt is easier to get than wood." She motioned towards a large black whole inside a giant mountain not too far away from the house. "And why exactly do we need this 'safe shelter' when the house is only about 20 feet away from the cave?" I raised an eyebrow at her wondering why she had to have these strange useless ideas. "You'll see what I have in mind, now run along, we don't have much time to waste, night will fall soon and vicious creatures will attack us again..." //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 Sunset exited the house and walked over to Octavia, I stared out the window at the two ponies, I could faintly hear Sunset's voice as she was demanding something of Tavi as she held her head high, Octavia slowly nodded and looked to the ground, the sadness in her eyes grew stronger and stronger each day that had passed and the only thing I could do was witness, or maybe not... Sunset interrupted my train of thought when she angrily burst through the door. "What's wrong now, Sunset?" I asked irritated. "Nothing... why don't you get your flank out there and join her? Be useful for a change..." She glared at me, and anger swept through my entire body. "Um, one, I'm not going to because you're not the boss of me, and two, having a 'safe shelter' right by the house is a dumb idea!" "Excuse me?" She looked taken back by my sudden change of behaviour. "Did I stutter, Sunset?" I said calmly but mockingly. "Why are you being so rude to me, Viola?" "Maybe because for some strange reason you think you're in charge of the both of us when you're not, nopony is in charge and we get to make our own decisions!" I said as I stomped my hoof leaving a small indent in the wood, "oh, and my name's Violetta not Viola!" "Whatever, does that rule apply to me because you said so?" "No, it applies to all of us because it's fair!" "Uh huh, I see, here's the deal, I won't act so demanding anymore if you go out there and help Octavia get some dirt, deal?" I growled at her but decided to agree, anything to make Sunset not as rude. "Fine, whatever," I rolled my eyes, "but you no longer tell us what to do, or ask any favours, from now on, you do things yourself, got it?" "Sure whatever..." She rolled her eyes as well and sat down on her bed, I grabbed a stone shovel from my chest on the other side of my bed and I exited the house, I walked over to Octavia and started to dig into the ground. "I'm really sorry about Sunset, Tavi..." I looked at her with kind eyes and she stopped digging to look at me. "No need to apologize, Violetta, I'm used to it..." She sighed and proceeded with her work, more like Sunset's work... I stopped digging and looked at Octavia. "Why do we listen to her anyway? It's not like she's the queen and we're her measly peasants." "I guess so, she just seems so... I don't know, intimidating I guess?" "Not to me, I'm going to stand up for myself and not give in! Except maybe for this time because we made a deal..." //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 I awoke to a loud explosion, surprised I jumped up and quickly peeked out my window, there I saw Sunset Shimmer lying completely still, her items scattered across the ground. "Oh, no!" I exclaimed. I looked over to Octavia who was still sleeping and I quickly woke her up. "Octavia! Tavi! Get up! Quick!" My voice trembled. "W-wha?" She rubbed her eyes and stared at me confused. "Octavia! Sunset's dead!" Her eyes shot open. "What?! No. No. No... you're lying." "I am not! Look outside." She reluctantly got up and stepped outside to see Sunset the same way I did. "Oh... no..." She covered her face with her hooves. "Told ya..." I rolled my eyes. "Violetta what are we going to do?! Without Sunset, we're just... two instead of three?" She said trying to back Sunset up. "Yes, but we also don't have to deal with her bossy attitude now." She narrowed her eyes at me. "Aren't you just the tiniest bit sad for her?" "Of course I am! But just the tiniest, also now we won't have to gather so much food, since Sunset eats like there's no tomorrow..." Something in my mind sparked. "Wait... no tomorrow... last night she said we were going mining, but she had this look on her face that told me there was more to that than just mining, maybe she did this on purpose, maybe she led the creeper-" "The what?" She interrupted. "The creeper, that's what I'm calling them, you know those green things that blow once you get near them?" She rolled her eyes. "Anyways, listen, maybe she led the creeper away from the house and then blew herself up!" She laughed at my so-called fantasies. "Oh, please, Violetta! Sunset would be the last pony I'd expect to commit suicide, besides it's like she said, she was supposedly our leader." This time I rolled my eyes. "More like our boot camp leader..." "Yeah... but still, she kept us in line." "You can believe what you want but even when she was demanding orders from me, I still rejected them and did my own things, she just put that in your head so that you would listen to her..." She glared at me. "Fine!" "Fine!" I had no idea why we were arguing but... she started it! "I'm still going to go mining..." "Whatever..." I rolled my eyes and watched as she gathered her mining materials from her supplies chest and slowly disappeared deeper into the cave.
