The air was filled with the sounds of a peaceful morning. Hooves hit the paved pathways carrying ponies along their daily paths. Voices called out both energetic and sleepy 'good mornings' and 'how do you do's. Shop bells jingled happily as their owners unlocked the doors. The small city was waking up.

In the city square, various ponies were setting up stands to sell their goods: fruit from the local farms, paintings made by a country pony, accessories from the boutique down the street, and anything else any pony could ever want. The small city was famous for their daily market stalls that filled their town square. Ponies from town took the opportunity to advertise some of the merchandise from their shops in an effort to draw in more customers. Ponies from the outskirts of town would come in to sell things they had made or make purchases. Then there were ponies who came from far and wide just to see and experience the market place.

A green unicorn proudly walked down the street feeling as though nothing could be more perfect. His glasses came back from being repaired yesterday and now their square lens were resting across the bridge of his nose, his graceful and beautiful wife was shifting her saddle bags to a more comfortable position with her teeth, and their adorable little filly was draped across his back fast asleep. He could feel her deep breaths tickling his ears. A soft giggle made him turn his head to see a gentle smile stretched across River Rose's muzzle.

"Poor thing, she's so sleepy." The aqua earth pony spoke softly so as to not wake her daughter.
