Flowey waited with baited breath. Soon another human would fall into the underground, and he would kill it. Yup, it was a good life for a soulless monstroisity like him, filled with the dark power of two restless spirits.
Ahead of him he saw a shadow. He chuckled as it came into the dim light, ready to give the newcomer some "friendship pellets." He could not wait. Soon he would be...
Wait... that was no human...
It was a quadraped, equine it looked like, and a small... pink one? Weirder still was that it was bouncing and not trotting or anything. Even WEIRDER was that when Flowey examined closer the little horse had a tatoo on its rump of three balloons. Flowey just stared as the horse stopped before him.
"Hi! I'm Flowey! Flowey the Flower!" He said in a kind voice. human or no this should still be fun.
"Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie!" She hmmed and sniffed. "W....wow Flowey! You smell... yummy! Like a super ultra sugary sweet marzipan cake with double whipped icing!"
Flowey then remembered something VERRRRRRRRY important:

"Ummm..... wait a minute! Don't you want help through the underground?!" He nervously quivered as the pony approached, drooling.
"Is that where I am now? Wow, cool! I like it here, especially if it has more talking treats like you!" She licked her lips and Flowey "eeped".
"No wait! Please don't eat me! I'm your friend! Don't you want friends?"
Pinkie paused. "Sure! But I can't be friends with food, that would be like if a wolf was friends with me! Though that would be cool though if food was my friend, then it would just leap in my mouth and let me eat it, or maybe make itself more tasty!"
Flowey swallowed nervously. This could not be happening! Was this pony about to...
Oh. Wait. His friendliness pellets. He forgot about them. How silly of him. Gritting his teeth as the pony droned on, he let loose with a few to teach the pony a lesson.
"OOO! Candy!" She said, and suddenly opened wide, eating the pellets one by one, chewing on them. Flowey went wide eyed in fear.
"WHAT!?" He yelled out. "How the...did you just...WHAT?!"
Pinkie of course, just nonchalantly swallowed and licked her lips. "MMMM! Sunflower flavoured!" She sniffed Flowey again. "Thank for the appetizer, but I really should just eat you and move on."
"No please! I don't wanna die!" Flowey begged.
"Oh? You don't? But you're my friend right, and if food is my friend, you let me eat it. Then as your friend I just revive you with my RESET."
Flowey went wide eyed. "Oh no.... you don't mean...?" He whispered out.
"I got the power as soon as I landed. Not sure why, but it was sure neat. I may just stay here and use that power to eat that flower patch again and then have you for dessert. Only thing is I wish I had my kitchen at Sugar Cube Corner. Flowey was eeking in pain at the painfully long audio assult on his "ears". He began to cry as Pinkie came closer. "Please don't hurt me." He begged.
"Nah, I won't. I'll just eat you." Pinkie replied, and opened wide. Flowey screamed as she bit down, tearing Flowey up from the stem, chewing happily. She mmmmed as the flavour filled her with Determination, not to mention was incredibly good, better than any sweet she ever had before. She chewed until Flowey stopped crying out, then chewed until he was just a bunch of mush in her mouth, a couple yellow petals falling to the ground, as Pinkie Pie swallowed, licking her chops.
"Yummy! That was so good!" She rubbed her belly with a pink hoof. "Now to see what else is down here. I hope there are more flowers!"

Flowey eeeped and looked around. He was back in his starting spot, no pink pony, and no chewed to death by said pony. He sighed in relief.
"If I never see that pony again it will be too soon." He said. Then he sniffed the air. "Hey... why is it getting so warm?"
He looked down.... and eeked as he saw he was suspended over a fire! Nearby was a bun just the right side for the bud, the stem being chewed on by Pinkie Pie as she slowly cooked Flowey.
"MMMMM! Sunflower burger, my favorite!" She beamed, flashing that terribly big smile and those horrible flat teeth. Flowey screamed as he was flipped onto the bun and covered with ketchup and pickles.
"Over the lips and pass the gums, look out tummy, here he comes!" She said, chomping Flowey in half. Flowey eeeped, his determination not letting him die as he felt the pony chew him up.
"AHHH! STOP IT! STOP EATING ME!!!!!"
"Why?" Pinkie replied. "You're so yummy, like my favorite treat! I gotta eat you!" She bit down again, eating the rest of the Floweyburger. "MMM! Still delicious!"

Flowey eeped, sliding across the ground as fast as his stem could take him as Pinkie chased him with a pair of bread slices. "WHY THE HELL DO YOU KEEP CATCHING UP TO ME?!" He yelled out. "What are you, PUNISHMENT FROM GOD?!"

Flowey was eeping and tried to disappear into the ground...only for Pinkie to emerge from where he went down, chewing happily and rubbing her now plump belly.

"No, please no!" He screamed as she opened wide...

Flowey was crying now, his spirit broken as he sobbed into the grass. He watched as once again Pinkie Pie approached.
"No more! Uncle! Please just go on and leave me alone! I cannot take it anymore!!!" He sobbed, Pinkie blinking.
"You mean... you don't like being eaten?"
Flowey went wide eyed. "NO I DON'T FUCKING LIKE BEING EATEN, YOU GODDAMN DEMON PONY! AND IF YOU FUCKING TRY TO EAT ME AGAIN I'M GONNA-" But Flowey never got to finish as a flame slammed into him, sending him flying. From nearby, a goat lady clothed in a blue robe with white sleeves sighed.
"What a little cretin, torturing such a poor little pony. Are you okay innocent one?"
Pinie Pie smiled. "Yup! Sure am pretty goat lady! You here to water the flowers? They tasted good!"
The goat lady, Toriel, smiled in a matronly fashion. "Why, thank you dear. Please, I'll lead you through the ruins, and you can have some of the ones I keep in my hidden stash along with my snails."
"OOOO! You eat snails?"
"Oh yes! I love a fresh baked snail pie. By the way, I am Toriel, who are you?"
"I'm Pinkie Pie!" Pinkie replied. Flowey just watched in sheer shock. Here the pony had been eating him and resetting for hours and HE was the bad guy?!
"Oh, I better eat that flower. No sense it going to waste after you cooked it."
Toriel nodded. "Why not? Then we will be on our way."
Flowey eeped. "NO! DON'T EAT ME! I CANNOT TAKE IT ANYMORE! I SURRENDER! I WON'T HURT ANYMORE HUMANS OR LEAD THEM ASTRAY OR ANYTHING JUST KEEP THAT DAMN PONY AWAY FROM-"

Flowey sighed. "Alright, whatever. I give up. That pink random predator is too much for me." He watched as a form came. "I'm just going to close my eyes and let her eat me. I cannot take it anymore."
He closed his eyes, waiting. But nothing happened. He opened one eye...
And there before him was a brown-haired, Asian-American child with a blue and pink long-sleeved t-shirt. Oh. Frisk!
"OH THANK GOD!" Flowey proclaimed, wiping his brow. " You have NO idea how much suffering I have been through. There was this pony who kept eating me for a snack no matter what I did. I have been baked, roasted, sandwiched, munched, crunched, swallowed whole, and who knows what else for hours! But now.... now it's YOU!"
Frisk stood there... then suddenly unzipped his shirt, the human suit falling away to reveal Pinkie Pie. "Surprise! I had to see you again to thank you! I'm so full now, but I am taking you with me back to Sugar Cube Corner. You're so tasty EVERYONE will wanna have you, and you will make so many ponies happy!"
Flowey went wide eyed, speaking in a whisper. "B-Bu-But how will you get out?"
Pinkie smiled and pointed at a nearby door. It said: "This way to Ponyville."
"I'll just use the exit, silly!" She said, picking Flowey and placing the now-bawling-hysterically flower in a pot. "Now off we go! to the best day of baking EVER!"
Flowey cringed as this reality warping pony was able to just defy the rules and leave yb a door of her own making. Even as she did, a certain boy walked out, tilting his head. Frisk watched as the door disappeared, leaving no Flowey and no intro.
"Well. THAT'S new." He remarked aloud, scratching his head before glancing around in the dark recesses of the ruins. "Sooooo..... what now?" He said to himself, deciding he would just wait for Toriel, having a feeling this runthrough might actually be kinda fun with no Flowey to hurt him.
And he actually let out a chuckle as he wondered how many ponies were actually going to eat Floweyburgers.

A Happy Ending "Asriel" As It Gets
"Order Up!" Pinkie Pie called cheerfully, sending a big cake that looked for all the world like a flower pot into the air and right onto the plate of a light green pony named Lyra Heartstrings. For the pink element of happiness, baking was the best way to spend the day, and these days it was wonderful.
For the flower in the "pot", it was HELL.
"Ooo! He looks delicious!" Lyra said to said flower, licking her lips at the frightened golden sunflower-esque being called Flowey. It had been over three months since he had been brought to this dimension, his abilities of SAVE, LOAD, and RESET fully disabled, replaced by a magical spell cast by one of those damned winged unicorns ("Alicorns!" Pinkie said through the fourth wall) that allowed him to revive instantly after being eaten.
And boy had he been eaten.
A LOT.
He had been baked in just about every kind of cake, pie, doughnut, and all other matter of confection you could possibly imagine, and a few no one could ever consider. How he wanted to cuss out the ponies or use his soul striking bullets to hutrt them. But the Alicorns ("There you go!") had nullified both of them too! All he was now was a sort of delectable prisoner, sobbing as the newest consumer ate away delicately at his icing coated petals and sprinkle covered face.
"Mmmmm! He's yummy today Pinkie, even more than ever!" Lyra said. Flowey just sobbed, unable to do a thing but be tasty as the pony devoured him like any oher flower. Pinkie was too busy to notice how sad he was.
Butthankfully another pony, a certain lavender alicorn with a knack for knowledge, did notice.

Flowey sighed as Pinkie carried him, once more trapped in an apple pie. He looked up at her.
"Please... no more... I beg you..."
"But you're a flower silly willy!" Pinkie explained as she shookher head back and forth. "Flowers are supposed to be pony food!"
Flowey sighed sadly. "I know... but I can't take it. For so long I was a powerful being in the Underground, cusing mischief and spreading my influence, but now... now I am just a talking snack!"
"Awwww don't feel bad! You're a real GREAT snack! And you don't yelp in fear anymore once you found out how tickly our teeth are." Flowey grumbled. That he could not deny unfortunately, but it did not make it any easier. Especially given that he was more than just a stupid flower. He could recall vague memories of a time when he had a friend.... a family..... a BODY....
"And here we are!" Pinkie said, knocking on the massive door of Friendship Castle. It looke dlike it had been built out of crystals,with the banner of the newest of the princesses hanging from it. Twilight Sparkle, the princess of friendship, had been a major figure for some time since her arrival in Ponyville, and after recent events she was all the moreso with her spreading of joy and friendship all over Equestria. Flowey only knew her from what she ordered, sadly:
Flowey Apple Pie with fresh whipped cream decorated in a rainbow style.
"Twilight!!!!" Pinkie called, her voice echoing through the castle. "TWIIIIIIILIIIIIIIIIGHT!"
Twilight poked her head out of the library, rubbing her ears. The princess shook her head but smiled at Pinkie's continued randomness, and as she trotted down for her lunch order that continued with a sudden big hug.
"So glad you're finally back Twilight! I mean I know you had a lot to do, being a princess and all, but we sure missed you, and all the fun times, and the hanging out at Berry Punch's juice bar, and-"
A sudden boop on her nose finally shushed her. Flowey shivered as Twilight looked him over. "Pinkie.... mind if I hang on to him for awhile? Now that the big rush to eat him all the time is over?"
Pinkie nodded. "Okie dokie lokie!" Pinie said without any argument, something that suprised Flowey instantly. As he watched her trot off, Twilight Sparkle answered the question the stunned Flowey was obviously thinking.
"Pinkie Pie is just Pinkie Pie, that is all there is to it." She used her magic to levitate the pie into the library, Flowey shivering a little as she set the table to eat him. "Now on to you. See, after this next meal, I think it is high time to find out why your here and more over, why you're ALIVE. We've got lots of strange things in Equestria, Celestia knows but...flowers aren't supposed to talk."
Flowey blinked. "Why NOW after so long?" He asked, a little irritated. "Do you have ANY idea the horror I've endured at the hands of you horses?!"
JUST YESTERDAY:
"I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!" Flowey sobbed out, being tied to a spit and roasted over a slow fire, Pinkie Pie holding up some fried petals for the Cutie Mark Crusaders to enjoy.
"Go on! Dig in!"
"Maybe, um...we should eat something that isn't screaming." Apple Bloom mumbled out.
PRESENT:
"Well, two reasons. One is you do taste good and I kinda liked eating you. I wished you enjoyed it more though...."
"YOU BIG JERK!" Flowey screeched, Twilight cringing. "But the other reason is that with all the hassles that have happened lately I never had the time or focus on it long enough to worry about it. I mean we had the Changelings coming back and we've set up negotiations with "Chrissy", King Sombra made a reappearance, we're still on the lookout for Starlight Glimmer, she's INSANELY powerful and has a grudge against me..."
Flowey nodded. "Well that makes sense I guess. Though I will be honest I sure wished you didn't eat me all the time. If I had a soul I have a distinct feeling it would be broken apart by now!"
Twilight nodded sympathetically. "That's why we need to do some tests. I want to find out why your alive and, moreover, see if there is a way we can help."
Flowey blinked. "H-Help? ME? Wow, you are an idiot. If you knew what I did..."
Twilight put a hoof to his mouth. "What you did is based on instincts, not emotions. You cannot have a soul and still have emotions, it makes no sense."
Flowey sighed. "If you MUST know, I have a partial soul I...GUESS." He mumbled with a shrug. "Because I have the memories of what I was before. But they are so vague I don't know much."
Twilight nodded. "Alright....so you think we can get you a soul?"
Flowey blinked. "Wait... you can do that here?!"
Twilight sighed. "Uhhh.... hello? Magic?" She remarked, tapping her horn with a hoof.
Flowey blinked. A soul? For him? It seemed farfetched. But if they could disable his ability to RESET and the like, then...then that would mean he could turn back into.... And it would mean no more...
"DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT." he said, eyes wide, drooling in anticipation of getting a soul of his own.
"Uhhh...you're sure?"
"YES, IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT'S HOLY, YES!"

...Twilight took Flowey into a small side room, setting him, pie and all, on a table. She hooked some tubes up to him and began to examine him, using a spell to display is vitals. After a bit of note taking she nodded. "Well, seems your alive due to a lot of sheer determination. That will make the soul creation easy. Seems you are a good VESSEL for a soul, you just need one made." She hmmed. "Now it is a powerful spell, so I will need help. But I think we can get one made for you tonight. It'd normally be difficult, but I've got a lot of friends who can help. TOP mares."
Flowey beamed. "You mean...no more being pony food?"
Twiligh sighed. "Sadly no more pony food. I say sadly because I don't think I'll ever have another flower apple pie again as tasty as you were."
Flowey thought about it. Twilight was going to make a soul for him? Tonight?! And her only sadness was she couldn't eat him anymore? Huh, ponies were weird, but still nice.
"Ok... let's do it."

...
...Pinkie Pie came by later that night, eager to pick up her favorite ingredient. She was looking forward to making a little Flowey cupcake for a midnight treat. But as she entered the castle, she saw something was off.
There, in the middle of the main entry hall, danced a little boy who looked like the cross between a rabbit, a goat, and, she thought, a vampire. He did have exceptionally sharp fangs. He wore a striped green and yellow long-sleeved shirt and blue shirts, and seemed completely filled with joy. Nearby stood Princess Luna, Princess Celestia, Princess Cadence, Queen Chrysalis, Discord, and Twilight. Pinkie blinked some until Celestia turned towards her.
"Ah, Pinkie Pie, I was wondering when you would come. You have a lot to understand."
Piniie Pie blinked. "Yeah, like who is the cutie? And... why does he smell so tasty?"
The goat boy "eeped" and hid behind Chrysalis, who chuckled. "It seems our friend Asriel here remembers what you did quite well Pinkie. Though I must agree he does smell lucious."
Discord chukled at Asriel's fear. "Oh relax kiddo! Your days as a flower are gone for good, the soul transplant was a complete success!"
Pinkie blinked. "Soul transplant?"
Luna nodded. "Indeed, an ancient and indeed risky spell, It requires several individuals to surrender a part of themselves to help form a new spirit for something. In order for it to work however, the creature in question must have had a soul of its own at one point."
Twilight nodded. "Once I was able to isolate that Flowey had a portion of the remnants of Asriel Dreemurr in him, I found making a soul for him easily possible. Once done, we took the best and worst of ourselves and forged a soul for him. It's VERY draining, and we had to rest for a bit afterward... but it was a complete success."
Asriel, now back to his old self albeit without his magical powers, chuckled. "So no more being pony food ever again!" He said happily, hugging Twilight.
"Well.... I wouldn't go that far." Celestia admitted. Asriel went wide eyed.
"Oh no... don't tell me you eat boss monster kids too?!" He gaped.
Celestia chuckled. "Not exactly. I'm afraid your traits as Flowey did remain... including your taste and reformability. Technically you could be eaten over and over and never die from now on."
Pinie cheered. "Yay! And there is so much more of you this way!" She hugged Asriel, who shivered. But thankfully Celestia intervened.
"Now Pinkie, you have to promise. True it will be enjoyable for him from now on, as I hope he will discover some day. But until then do NOT force him."
P{inkie blinked. "But....."
"Pinkie Promise." Luna demanded. Pinkie said and looked to Asriel.
"Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." She said. "Awww, but I was gonna make a wonderful butterscotch pie."
Asriel blinked. "Wait.... did you say Butterscotch pie?"
Pinkie nodded.
"Ummmm... with cinnamon?"
Pinkie nodded. "Yeah, lots of cinnamon."
Asriel licked his lips. It sure SOUNDED good. "Well..... maybe Ill try it one last time...."
Pinkie looked ta him and beamed.
"ONE. LAST. TIME." Asriel insisted.
Pinkie nodded and hugged, making everyone (Even Chrysalis, who had been snacking on the emotions this whole time).

Back in the underground, Frisk was happily playing in Snowdin with several of the monsters. It was a pleasant break from all the life threatening battles so far, and it was a good reward after the vicotry against Papyrus. He smiled and played, sad only that he had no one to share this fun with.
"Howdy!" A voice said behind him. Frisk went wide eyed, almost in fear. he had RESET many times, and had gotten to know that voice very well. It was the voice of that flower. The one who HAD been that poor, sweet little-
But as he turned, it was not Flowey that he saw. It was... it was... The sight made Frisk begin to cry.
"Asriel?" He said silently. Sobbing, the two embraced, Frisk finally seeing him ore than just those few moments, he just knew it. He eeped however when he saw several ponies of various colors behind him.
"Asriel... who are...?"
"These are my friends." Asriel explained, a bouncing pink ne coming over. "Even this one, who thought I had, shall we say, real good taste."
Frisk raied an eyebrow.
"Long story." Asreiel said. "But first... Let's go see mom and dad. Together."
Frisk smiled, hugging his friend again, knowing the rest of this run through would be very happy. He could not wait to lead everyone... EVERYONE... to the surface. For good.
And as they went, Pinkiie licked her lips. She knew the goat boy WAS delicious now. She couldn't wait to try his friend...
