A new name a new town.

A new name, a new town.

A day like every other,

above the clouds, in Cloudsdale, in a school.

She sat on her favourite spot like she did everyday,  besides the great Wonderbolts poster

and dreamed to be one of them.

“Wingdaloo, are you there?”

These gentle voice accompanied to Autumnbreze, her teacher.

The words echoed towards the empty room

and ripped the pegasusfilly out of her dreams. Wingdaloo yawned and stretched her body,

her little wings creaked and the bright orange coat bristled. It seemed,

through the red mane wandered a hunch of crawlies and the filly shivered.

“There you are. We have to talk.”

This voice followed a spotted deep red body with mossy green spots and a long mane of the same colour.

Her teacher entered the room. He beheld the little filly, the wings were firmly pressed against his body.

His green eyes shined a moment and a little smile glided through his face.

“I think your suppose to be here. As you already know the class will go to the junior flight camp,

as soon as possible.”

Her teacher stopped, as he saw that the little eyes began to glean and he sighed.

He never wanted to speak these words, but this was the only solution for these problem.

“You have to understand, Wingdaloo! We aren't going to accept anypony

with your wingsieze there. You should.”

The upset voice of the filly trembled and disrupted the attempted explanation.

“But I think, I could be there for a while. Maybe they will growing, if I will train hard enough. Please, let me try.”

Autumnbreeze just hoisted his right hoof and stopped the distraught raptures of the filly.

Tears were rally in the eyes of the stammering Pegasus. He tried to soothe her.

“You will be only relegate for one year, Wingdaloo. If you will learn and train enough,

you could go to the camp next year.”

“But I want go now. All my friends are going. What could I say them?”

Her voice floundered and she stroked with the left hoof over her face,

she smeared the tears of, however new one sprang outwards.

“I know, this doesn't sound very nicely. Even so you will certainly  find friends in your new class.”

The filly starred long to her teacher and wimp out. She turned over and snivelled.

Her voice sounded so painful, that Autumnbreeze jittered and walked two steps further.

“I want go. Please, let me go. Please!”

The teacher shook his head and tried to say something, still Wingdaloo jumped through the cloud wall

and ran away from this message. Her wings flapped faster and faster, however she didn't take off.

Everywhere she saw pegasi, they flew, they smiled, but all of these darkened her mood even more.

She wanted to be like all the others. beeing able to fly, like all.

They should stopped following her with pitifully eyes.

They should stopped watching her, like she was wrong, or ill. Faster, faster she runs,

however she couldn't run away from her feelings. Her hooves leaded home, a place.

A place she wanted not see now, but whereto she should go?

She sneaked through the meadow and tried to dry her tears,

before her Mum realized these all and was trying to comfort her,

or worse viewed her pitiful as the others.

She arrived the door without any problems and lifted the hoof to push it open.

“Wingdaloo are you here? Come please. We have to talk.”

She smeared again over her eyes and wore a smile. She entered the living room, where her mother sat on a cloud.

She put two plates with her famous hot carrot cookies at the table.

Her name was a perfect match. Her flaming red mane and bright yellow coat matched with Curryfeather.

Her cutiemark, a white pounder in a mortar, showed, that she was a great cook.

The name Wingdaloo was her idea, however it didn't match so far to her children.

She bowed her head, when the filly entered and the great wing fluttered her a cloud to sit down.

The magenta eyes tookher child into account and remarked, that she had wept again.

Curryfeather sighed.

“Had Autumnbreeze spoken with you, Wingdi? Did he told what was his plan for you?

She discontinued and hawked. The filly leaned forward, took a cookie, nibbled at the margins

and the spicy taste drove tears in her eyes. She nodded and chewed on the rest, very concerned to say nothing.

“You have one other choice. I could go to Ponyville with you and aunt Sunny takes care of you,

when I have to fly to Cloudsdale. You could go to school there and maybe you find same friends by theses ponies.”

Wingdaloo opened her mouth, but nothing came out. She bit her lips and closed her eyes.

Simply vanish from Cloudsdale? How could Mum advances this sort of action?

Inside her the thoughts floated, however it was not sadness alone, wrath took place too.

Her hooves found the plate and smashed it.

“I'm not a defect. I'm not sickly, I may only.”

She snapped and snivelled.

Curryfeather stood up and walked around the table. She pulled the filly with a wing to her and

squeezed her proper.

“I'm sorry, Wingdi. This isn't, what I want to say. You are something special. Please, let me help you.”

Wingdaloo snivelled even louder and pushed herself harder in the gentle mane of her mother.

She yelled her frustration into the mane and cried. Curryfeather stroked her over the head and her little red mane.

She could gave everything, hence her wings grew, even the unicorns couldn't helped her. What should she do?

This decision wasn't make by one day. Wingdaloo took two weeks, but whatever she thought.

It was wrong.

She roamed around after the school, in attempted to clear her thoughts.

Whatever, where she ever went, everpony looked at her with pitifully eyes.

How should she feel better than? Even in school all of them looked at her in the same matters.

Younger fillys whispered and laughed, surely about her. Wingdaloo felt lonely and

even the attempts of her teacher were nothing other than pitifully words for her.

Or so she take them.

“I should leave. I have to go to Ponyville. There they will not dare to look.”

Her voice sounded so calm and a heavy burden fell  of from her.

At the same day she talked to her mother, that she had made a decision.

“You had to stand here, please. Only cos I'm different, you shouldn't leave home.”

Curryfeather tried to say something, however a look in the eyes of her filly stopped her. She understood:

Wingdaloo wanted not looked pity, and even she, her mother was a reminder of this looks. She had to go alone.

Her youth was no excuse.

“I will write you every day, Wingdi. I hope you will be happy down there.”

The transition to Ponyville was easier, as Wingdaloo even thought.

Aunt Sunny Rays was familiar with earthponys around her,

and looked to Wingdaloo like someone. Without pity eyes. Her welcome gift was something,

the filly hadn't ever seen.

A Scooter.
