Angel bunny, meet Honey bunny
Chapter 2- A Sticky Situtation
Previous ChapterChapter 2- A Sticky Situtation
Honey opened her eyes, stretching her limbs and riseing from her comfortable... Bed? Honey stared in awe of the room she was in. Beneath her, a fluffy pillow sat. Not dirt, and dry grass. She no longer stared at the open sky when she woke. She was in a warm home, she no longer feared being eaten by snakes, or the 'Fire Ram' returning and burning more of her home.
Honey hopped to her feet, wiggling her nose, and taking a good look of what was around her. A large wooden structure stood by her on long rectangular legs of it's own.'Woah! That thing is almost as tall as a tree! I wonder it I can climb on those ledges?' Honey mused, hopping onto the dresser's open drawers till she reached the top of the dresser.
Honey marveled at the view she was presented with. It was huge, and she knew there was a ton to explore, so she might as well get started. She hopped down from the dresser, landing on a large quilt. Oddly enough the bed was very warm in the middle, and locks of pink fur lined the top. 'Pink hair? Oh! This must be pegasus's bed!' Honey realized. She hopped off of the mare and began to look for where she could explore next. A loud grumble came from the little bunny's belly, and she squeaked in surprise.
'Uh oh... I'm hungry... How do I wake her up?' Honey hopped back and forth trying to find an answer. Then is quite literally struck her. Honey rubbed her head, and looked up at what she had run into. It was a framed picture of Angel.
'Angel bunny! That's who I should find! He'll know how to wake her up!' She squeaked, racing down the steps that led to the kitchen.
Meanwhile-
Angel frowned. This would have to do. He grabbed his quill and finished his plans. Now all he needed was other animals who would assist him...
He whistled, and about twenty mice, birds, and squirrels gathered in the room. All seemed confused, why had he called a meeting right now?
"As most of you know, there is a new bunny in the house. But this isn't a good sign. This bunny has managed to capture the attention of Fluttershy, and I fear that she will forget all about us! Help me, and we can save Fluttershy who has been most kind to us! Together we can stop the bunny!" Angel squeaked, and all the animals cheered. Now Angel had everything he needed.
Back with Honey-
Honey hopped down the steps, taking care not to fall. 'Angel has to be down stairs!' She squeaked, reaching the kitchen floor.
'Hello? Mr. Angel? I need help getting your pegasus friend up!' Honey called, hopping through the kitchen, and into the sofa room.
Angel was nowhere to be seen, and Honey became worried she'd never find him. She continued to call for him, however.
Suddenly Honey heard humming from behind her, and looked up to see a dried grass net, hovering over her. She squealed in surprise and ran under the sofa, on,y to be greeted by a band of mice with another net. She quickly jumped up onto a table, and looked up to see a large creature wearing a pink tutu, as a lamp. Maybe this pegasus likes her job to much.
Honey kept from the table, and sprinted into the kitchen. Suddenly several squirrels and birds began throwing marshmallows, and pouring sticky syrup on her as she ran past. Honey became to sticky and fluffy to move, and she felt the syrup harden around her toes.
Suddenly a little white tail backed into the clearing, and Honey felt she was saved. Angel stepped out and his sweet demeanor diminished. Honey's lower lip quivered and she began to bawl. He was being mean to her! He didn't like her at all! Honey thought, releasing more tears.
Suddenly a gray bunny wearing pink glasses hopped out into the room and glared at Angel.
'Angel! I'm ashamed of you!' The bunny squeaked, and Angel became deathly still.
'Uh oh...' Angel mumbled, putting on his best pouting face.
The gray bunny hopped over to Honey, and gave her a comforting hug, then turned to Angel, and delivered her wrath.
'She's just a little bunny, not much older than you! This is despicable behavior, from all of you! Now I'm going to have to tell Fluttershy all about this, so you'd better be sorry!' The rabbit chattered to all the animals.
Angel squeaked,'Mom?! Uhhhh.... I can explain?' The gray bunny, grabbed Angel by the ear, and pulled him up to Fluttershy's room. Honey's tummy grumbled, and she began to lick her fur to get unstuck.
Luckily she didn't have to, as Fluttershy showed up and unstuck her from the floor. She looked very worried and took care in calming her down.
"Oh, you poor thing! Don't worry, we'll get you all washed up, and then we can have pancakes. Does that sound good?" Fluttershy soothed trotting into the bathroom. A few minutes later, Angel showed up with an apologetic look on his face and a large bar of soap.
Honey was a little wary of the white bunny, and would only let Fluttershy touch her, and the sweet gray bunny who's name was Hera. She honestly didn't know how she could trust Angel again. Soon Honey was clean, dry, and absolutely fluffy.
Angel hopped out of the room dejectedly, and Honey couldn't help but feel sorry. Maybe there was more to him than she knew, and now she was determined to find out.
Honey jumped from the sink, following Angel out the door. She couldn't see him anymore but she could smell him, and she found him sniffling in a corner. She wiggled her nose, and hopped over, tapping on his shoulder.
Angel turned around, and the little bunny gave him a big hug, and a little kiss on his nose for good measure. Angel put on a brave face, but his blush said it all.
