-Canterlot-

Unicorn Wizard walked into the throne room, followed by Rex, Talon, Dawn, Venom, Bastidon, and Owen Grady. "I've found a way, with Star Swirl's help, to get us home." he told the seemingly asleep Princess Celestia.

"Good." she said calmly, trying not to throw the changeling into a wall with her telekinetic powers.

With that, the Dimetrodon unicorn placed a book onto the ground and opened it up, where he exhaled onto it's yellow pages. The cloud of dust swirled through the room and landed, showing the unicorn mare called-

"Clover the Clever. Good to see you again." Princess Celestia said to the sparkling image.

"Your Majesty." the green haired pony replied, bowing down. She then turned to the former prehistoric animals. "You have everypony here?" Clover asked Unicorn Wizard.

"Yes. I want to say thank you for your help, before we leave."

"Tut tut. No need for gratitude. Now then, you may feel a slight pinch as you find your way home." she told the bearded unicorn as a swirling vortex opened up.

"I'll go first." Unicorn Wizard said, his voice ever so slightly showing signs of nervousness. "Here goes nothin." he said to himself as he walked into the portal.

"It worked!" Talon said with excitement. "We can go home!" As if to prove her wrong, a startled Unicorn Wizard was thrown back, his face sliding along the marble floor with a painful squeak.

"Ow." his muffled voice said.

Rex could almost see the smoke coming up from around the unicorn like it was a car on asphalt in Jurassic World. "That couldn't have felt good." he muttered, wincing at the sight of the Dimetrodon stallion. Many of his teeth were broken and his grey beard was a mess of tangled hair. One eye was tightly shut and instantly bruising.

"I don't understand. Why didn't it work?!" Unicorn Wizard shouted, looking himself over for any possible changes in his appearance. Other than his damaged face, he didn't look any different.

"Hmm. It's your body." Clover the Clever explained. "Unless you are in the form that you were in before arriving, you can not go home." she continued.

"You mean we're STUCK here forever?!!" Venom shrieked in fear. "I do NOT want to be stuck eating VEGETABLES for the rest of my life, thank you!" he growled.

"We're not stuck here." Dawn muttered.

"What?" Talon said, swinging her head around to face the Indominus. "How are we NOT stuck here, you mutated rip off lizard?!" she growled.

The hybrid glared at the Spinosaurus but did not attack. "When I was in a town, I was attacked by some creatures. I got really ticked off with 'em and turned back into myself."

"So what you're telling me is, that we should just poof ourselves into our true form? THEN, you expect us to fit into THIS tiny thing?!" Rex asked, pointing at the swirling vortex.

"I'm surprised you haven't eaten any of us yet." Venom grumbled to himself. Bastidon brought a hoof to the back of his head. "OWW! What the hell was THAT for?!" he snarled at the ankylosaur. The stallion only rolled his eyes in response. "HEY! I'm talking to you!" Venom shouted, charging Bastidon with a furious expression.

"Back off." the stallion growled, kicking Venom in the chest.

"GAK!!" the changeling choked, tumbling into a wall. "I'LL KILL YOU!!" he gasped, limping toward Bastidon as fast as he could.

"ENOUGH!!" a booming voice yelled, stopping Venom dead in his tracks. The changeling swiveled his head to see a tall, muscular stallion. His pupils were constricted to small dots.

"Who're you?" the dilophosaur asked with a slightly disgusted expression.

"Uh, Onyx." the pony said as if it were obvious. "But that's not the point. Obviously you guys are stuck here until you can find a way home. Which, if you couldn't tell, is going to take a while considering all of you are at least thirty feet long..." Onyx continued.

"Onyx, eh?" Rex asked, approaching the young adult with a smirk. "Isn't Obsidia YOUR kid?" he asked, lowering himself to eye level with the mechanic.

"Yeees." the stallion replied. Then realizing who he was talking to jumped to attention. "YOU!! You're Rex!"

"Nah. How'd you know?" the large unicorn said sarcastically.

"You stay away from my daughter!" Onyx snarled at the tyrannosaur with an angry scowl.

"Whatever." Rex grumbled, rising back to his full height.
