//-------------------------------------------------------// A Trip of Pleasure -by TheZouave- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Down Acid Lane //-------------------------------------------------------// Down Acid Lane “Slam!” A book shut. Well that was all that book had on that topic. Twilight closed her eyes and groaned. She was looking up hallucination spells, specifically because she found a diary of an addict in an ally. The author listed all the major points of her acid trips, using an actual chemical to achieve her high. I still can't believe that mare, a unicorn at that, would use chemicals to get high when it is well documented that spells exhibit the same effects without the long-lasting repercussion! Why doesn't anypony do their research?!? Twilight lightly shook her head at those thoughts. She'd been having way too many like them lately. Well I guess I'll just have to make one myself. Twilight smiled, relishing the challenge of creating a new spell herself. It wasn't often that she got to do this. Test subjects – obviously not me, I'm going to be the one documenting the effects. Spike would be a good candidate. But he's been my test subject so many time before, I'd hate to do something as drastic as this on him. Maybe one of the – An alarm went off. Oh right, it's time for me to go over to Applejack's and try their new recipe. She smiled as she wondered what new thing they came up with this time. It's probably based on their new apple dough they came up with. “I'm heading over to Applejack's! I'll be back in about an hour!” Twilight absentmindedly called out as she opened the door. She paused at the threshold, waiting for a reply. She didn't have to wait but a few moments before Spike's voice called faintly back, “Okay!” Satisfied that she could be reached in an emergency, she closed the door behind her. Twilight continued to wonder what awaited her at the Apple Farm. Apple crumble? Two weeks ago. Cake? Two months ago. Come on brain, get creative! Apple up side down cake! ...or pound cake. But definitely some kind of cake. Satisfied now that she had made a guess of some kind, she quickened her pace. Soon she came up to home of the Apple family. A smell made it's way across her nostrils. Yep, definitely some kind of cake. Victorious, she trotted into the house, and found herself in the living room. “Ah see that y'all made it down right on time.” Applejack drawled as she meandered in from the kitchen. “I thought it was going to be some kind of cake this time. But don't ruin the surprise for me, I want to figure out kind on my own.” “All right, sugarcube. Howevah ah did get Big Mac to help me out on this one. Ah just couldn't fer tha life uh me figure out how to get tha dough to be right con-sis-tan-cee.” “Okay, but no more hints AJ. You've already told me that it's either a really heavy or a really light cake.” “Alright, Twi.” Applejack replied as she finished leading Twilight to where the cake was cooling in the kitchen. Twilight glanced at Big Mac before leaning in to get a good whiff of the cake. Of course it's apple, it's always apple with the ponies. Can't really fault them for it – they do it better than everypony else. Twilight cut out a slice, feeling how dense the cake was. I'm not surprised that she had trouble getting the consistence right now. It's as heavy as dough. She levitated the slice up to her muzzle, taking one last sniff before taking a large bite out of the slice. Her eyes fluttered shut, however she remained focused on the task at hand. “...is this...” Twilight muttered, thinking to herself about cakes and consistences, remembering the spectrum she read up on, “...shortcake?” “Aw rats, ah was certain that y'all were never gonna guess that one.” Big Mac just smirked at her, however Twilight wouldn't have noticed him do anything but twitch a corner of his mouth. Not that she could considering she was in apple heaven. “Yeah, laugh it up yah big lug. Here's your bit.” Mac took the bit and slid it Faust-knows-where inside his work collar. “Last time ah bet on one a these experiments again.” Twilight's eyes popped open. Her mind whirled at the speed of Dash as put a puzzle together. “That reminds me, would you two mind taking part in an experiment of mine?” Applejack squinted at her, pausing for a moment before asking, “What kinda experiment?” Twilight chuckled to herself, “Well it'd be a pleasant if not euphoric experience, however you'd be out of commission for at most a few hours while we wait for the spell to wear off, and I'm about eighty-five percent certain you'll be catatonic for the duration.” “That sounds mighty vague to me, sugarcube.” “Well, I still have to work out the spell, so all I have are some basic things you can control with any spell. The basic effect is generally achieved, and the strength and duration are mostly variable, though changing one does tend to change the other.” “Glad you could dumb that down for us. It actually makes a kind uh sense now, don't it Mac?” “Eeyup.” “I prefer not to think of it as dumbing it down, but as thinking about it more abstractly.” “Well you're just chock full uh them fancy words today, ain't 'cha Twi.” “If you don't want to make a decision now, I can go work out the spell and probably have it done by tonight. I'll come back over and give you some more solid numbers. We should probably conduct the experiment at the barn anyway, as it would have a fair chance of containing the situation if it does get out of hoof and even if it does, there's really no pony around.” “Sounds like a game plan tah me, sugarcube. But as fer now, tha cake's gettin' a mite chilly.” “Oh, right!” Right after shoving the rest of her slice into her mouth, she divvied the cake up into three parts, and floated two plates out of the cabinets for Applejack and Big Mac to eat off of. “Well ah'll be darned, sugarcube. You're part of the Apple family now.” Twilight paused in the middle of scarfing down her portion of the cake with an incredulous look on her face. “hut?” She swallowed and tried again. “Excuse me, what?” “Y'all just got out plates for some uh the existin' Apple family at our house. That right there makes you officially family, cuz.” “I'm your… cousin?” “Well shoot, sugarcube, ain't we all to some degree?” “...Technically yes.” But there's so many generations between the blood connection -. “Well that settles it, don't it.” “...All right.” Twilight knew that it was fruitless to argue with Applejack once she had it made up in her mind on something like this. Big Mac just enjoyed the show for the rest of lunch. ****************************** Back at the castle, Twilight was hard at work finding the appropriate spells. Well the hallucination spell I'm going to use replicates the chemicals almost exactly, so they shouldn't be going anywhere once it hits them unless it has a weird harmonic effect with the fantasy spell, which, let's be honest, has happened far too frequently in situations like this. I should probably add in a mild sleep spell tied to the duration of the effects of the first two. ...That should do it. And now for the fun part. Twilight started to interweave the spells like only a master can. To do this properly, elegantly, takes hours. Whenever she cobbles together a spell on the spot, it's just that – clunky and inefficient. It's usually just the spells tied up in a container spell that she learned for just that kind of situation. To do it right, efficiently, requires interweaving the spells in such a way that reduces redundancies and turns multiple spells into one, more complex spell. The only thing harder that weaving a spell is unweaving it, or breaking it down into it's component parts. Magic is far more like an art than a science at such a high level. And it is at this high level that those pesky harmonics start to show up. Several hours and at least two sticks of chalk later (you know she didn't do this without writing the spell out at a few points and doing some calculations), the sun met the horizon and Twilight Sparkle had finished the spell. It had a few more redundancies than most spells, but it should considering it was messing with the mind. With that finished, Twilight put on a saddlebag and slipped her personal spellbook, for the custom-made spells she needs to write down, into it. And headed out the door. When she made it to Sweet Apple Acres, she noticed that there was some wood by the barn that wasn't there earlier. She paused, and just then Applejack's voice floated over, “Well I reckon that's as good as we're gonna get it, Mac. Might as well take a break and hydrate before Twi get's here.” Continuing up to the house, Twilight had a smile on her face. Might as well surprise them. When she got inside, she made a beeline for the kitchen. Quickly pulling two glasses out of the cabinets and filling them with ice, she snagged the apple juice from the fridge and filled the glasses. As an afterthought, she grabbed a this glass and filled with ice and apple juice before taking a sip. She sometimes forgot how thirsty spell-weaving made her. Just then Mac and AJ clopped into the house. AJ stopped at the entrance to the kitchen, surprised to see Twilight there with their juice all ready to go. “Well ah'll be darned. Only Apples work that smoothly together.” She went to go sit down and Mac followed. Twilight grinned. “What were y'all-ahem, sorry, you two doing out there anyway?” “Ahh we were just makin' the barn a but more sturdy. It's been something that needs happening for a while but we just hadn't quite gotten around to it yet. This sounded like a good time to do so, so we did.” “Well I'm all ready on my end. You won't move at all and you'll be in paradise for about two hours.” “Well shucks, there's no reason to say no then. What about you Mac? You in?” Big Macintosh sighed ruefully, “Eeyup.” “Well let's head out there then.” Sparkle picked up all their empty glasses and flew them to the sink before rinsing them out. She stuck them in the dishwasher as she headed out the door. Applejack chuckled to herself before following her out, and Mac was the tail of the procession. Twilight swung open the barn, “Get comfortable. You're going to be in one position for a while.” Big Mac just flopped over on a pile of hay. AJ was a little more particular. She took the time form a niche in her pile before laying in it and drawing her legs up to herself. “Ready?” Nods. “Okay, here we go.” Twilight charged up her horn before hitting both of them with the spell in rapid succession. The last thing Twilight heard from them before they succumbed to sleep was “Damn, Twi, where'd you find this… acid.” Only to AJ that last word sounded a lot deeper. https://img.youtube.com/vi/VhI_47J0uXg/mqdefault.jpg Twilight summoned her clipboard and starting taking notes on the effects immediately. She was about half a minute in when a low moan sounded from Applejack. She also noticed Little Mac peeking out and growing larger. Twilight blushed. ****************************** Applejack was the first to wake up. “Augh… What happened? Why do I feel like I just went ten rounds with a minotaur?” “Eeyup.” Mac echoed. “Well, the spell worked a little too well. It was supposed to give you trippy, but pleasant, dreams. Trust me when I tell you the dreams you had were very pleasant.” They then realized they were covered in their own… fluids. And it all came flooding back. AJ felt instantly wet but extremely thirsty (for water you pervert) while Little Mac was instantly hard again, making Big Mac look pained. They both glanced at each other and blushed like mad. “I, uh, realized halfway through that you guys would probably be very thirsty when you woke up, and it looked like more of the same thing from this side, so I went and got you some water.” Sparkle pulled out one of her special jugs that pulls water from a fast stream in the Everfree and two glasses. They each guzzled down at least three glasses before they felt remotely sated. “Let's go inside and get you to cleaned up. Don't go to bed just yet, I still have to find out what it was like from your perspectives.” They nodded reluctantly, all their get-up-and-go having gotten-up-and-went. ****************************** “So, how was this experience for you?” “Tiring.” “What do you remember?” "Enough.” “…How do you feel about these memories?” “Nonsensical.” “…And?” “Sexy.” Twilight blushed. AJ and Mac were too tired to feel embarrassed. “Would you do it again?” “If'n I had three days to recover.” “What if I had a less powerful version of the spell?” “How much so?” “Say, half the time and half the intensity.” “Sure.” “…You don't sound very excited.” “…Big Mac? Do you agree with what I said?” “Eeyup.” “We're going to bed now. If you want more, come talk to us in two days. It's almost midnight.” “Eeyup.” “…Okay then. See you in a few.” “Night Sparkle.” Their doors clicked shut. … Alright. Let's go home and see how intense this really is. I'm used to studying to the wee hours of the morning. ****************************** Sparkle whispered hoarsely to herself, “I never would have imagined having sex in seven dimensions would feel so good.” Author's Note Well this took like seven hours to happen and went through two really phases. The first one was Spike and Rainbow were the unlucky victims, but that felt too cliché. So I went with male as Big Mac, and female as AJ. Gotta control for the sexes. And WOO FIRST STORY!!! I don't know whether or not to put the [sex] tag on this story. I'll just mark it as mature for now. EDIT: It looks as though the italics didn't take the first time through. And I forgot the Youtube link. (facepalm) Also now more clear.
