//-------------------------------------------------------// The story of Eggmare -by Lillygeneva- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prequel or something //-------------------------------------------------------// Prequel or something In an unnamed village on an unnamed island in the middle of nowhere, sat a doctor. A Doctor Eggman to be exact. He's an evil man, who builds robots to attack a hedgehog for a living. No really. That's what he does. Why a hedgehog? Don't ask. I mean, wouldn't you be angry if an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog that is a self-proclaimed "blue-blur" be destroying things you worked hard to make? Even if it was/is for a mischievous reason, it's the principle. Wouldn't you grow to hate and despise someone who is always trying to shut you down? But it does sound really silly trying to take down a... a hedgehog of all things, just- I-I'm getting off topic here. He sat in his lair, thinking of an idea to destroy that darned hedgehog. It occurred to him, that maybe what he needed to do to capture that blue spiky critter, he'd have to get help. But from whom? Seemingly all of the other villains in the village have given up trying to capture him. And the other hedgehog, quite the shady character - pun intended - who is a fan favorite among everyone, except the heroes. A black and red, fluffy hedgehog, much stronger than the one in blue. And yet, not even he could defeat the "blue blur." And the time he had come up with an even better idea, giving him a evil cookie infused with his own DNA to turn him into a clone. It backfired miserably, instead of the hedgehog getting the cookies, all of his friends did, turning on the hedgehog, all except for him. And then the hedgehog fixed it, turned Dr. Eggman into a fast blue hero temporarily as well. Of course, he was turned back, though he went back to the drawing board. He was so close so many times. Why couldn't he get that blasted hedgehog? Then it occurred to him, that, if nobody of the world he already was in wouldn't help him, he could go and get someone of another world. It's worth a shot, right? A few days later, he had built some sort of portal-like contraption. It was big,  un-powered, many stray wires, and looked as if it was attached to a door of sorts. He had found the coordinates of another dimension that seems to occupy the same space of the world he already lived on.  And, conveniently, there was already some sort of doorway into that dimension. He figured that, if there was already one there, there'd have to be someone just as smart as the doctor was. He turned on the machine, and waited for something to happen. The doorway was whirring with a kind of blue glow, as a wormhole opened up between the two dimensions. He stood their for a while, and nothing happened. He decided to go do something else for a little while, and assigned his two robotic assistants to alert him if anything happens. ================================================================================================================ A lavender princess pony, a alicorn, named Twilight Sparkle was minding her own business, reading a book, conveniently right by the portal to the human world. She was enjoying herself. She had nothing to do, and Spike, her number one assistant was out helping Rarity, and nopony else was there in the castle. She was almost finished with this one, the newest installment to the series of Daring Do. And then she remembered that her sandwich was still in the oven. And she had been sitting there doing absolutely nothing - if you consider reading a story with multiple chapters for entertainment purposes nothing. She got up and ran towards the kitchen. She found her sandwich burnt. She'd gotten lost in the book, and completely forgotten about real life. She got a huge disappointment as she found it burned. It was a new recipe, and now she's going to have to start over. This time she sat and waited for it. There was only a short amount of time left for it now. She heard a sound, that kind of sounded like an explosion. She quickly teleported into the library. She found the portal-mirror glowing blue, something it normally isn't supposed to do. And it wasn't supposed to open for another two moons. Twilight contemplated going through, when her thoughts got interrupted by her stomachs pleads for some food. She decided to go into the kitchen, and write a note while she ate her delicious sandwich. It read: Dear friends, The portal to the human world has opened again, and I've decided to enter it. Don't worry, I'll be fine. If I happen to spot anything out of the ordinary there, I'll immediately come back. Spike, I've left a copy of this note that you can send to Celestia if need be. Sincerely, Twilight Sparkle. She placed the notes down on the kitchen counter, finished up her sandwich, and continued through the portal, stepping through, and going through the wormhole. As soon as she went through she found herself unconscious. Where is she? Did the portal take her to the same place? If so, why did it flash so unusually?  How long is she going to be out? Is she still a pony, and if not, what is she?
