The end of War Nexus marked the beginning of Dawn's leadership and the awakening of demons called Tartarans from the underworld. The Tartarans become the least of Dawn's worries as she discovers they didn't get out on their own.

Tartarans are loose. Griffons lose their patience with the Equines. Dragons are disappearing. Ancient magic threatens the lives of all. Dawn and her allies are marked as enemies and they must prove themselves innocent by revealing a magician that is behind it all.
