Equestria Super Taco Party!
~ The Fiesta ~
It was a masterpiece. A tortilla shell filled with cupcakes, muffins, slices of pie, and other sugary goodness and desserts, all topped with a sprinkling of sugar. Pinkie Pie's mouth watered at the very sight of her new creation. She knew it would take Equestria by storm, filling every shop it could. It was a sugary mass of Diabetic death and sweet deliciousness on a plate. Thankfully, Diabetes did not exist in Equestria, mainly because of the nigh-infinite capacity of even the average pony for vast amounts of sugar. She started selling sugar tacos at Sugar Cube Corner after introducing them to Mr. and Mrs. Cake, and sure enough, other shops saw it and it took Equestria by storm. Then, one fateful day, somepony said "Hold the phone. If we have sugar tacos, then why don't we have regular ones?" That pony took that idea and brought it to life with the glorious tastiness of tacos. Then the Fiesta began.
Of course, with the tantalizing unresistibility of tacos, somepony had to throw a party, or rather a fiesta, and that somepony was nopony other than Pinkie Pie herself. She had invented the sugar taco, the taco's sugary origin, and also as THE party pony of Equestria, she felt obligated to do it. She had asked Princess Celestia herself for permission to have the party in her royal Canterlot Palace banquet hall, and as a now-taco-lover the Princess had happily obliged. The party was now at a rolling boil, with ponies from all over, from Manehattan to Buckingham, all enjoying tacos, dancing, singing, and other such festivities. Even Princess Celestia and her sister, Princess Luna, were there, clad in white T-shirts bearing the words "I hope U like tacos!" on it with the image of a taco underneath. The banquet hall itself, really just a few fancy tables with fancy cloths on them and some chairs in storage, was now a writhing mass of chaos and tacos. Outside of the Canterlot Palace there was a welcoming bright red banner that read "Equestria Super Taco Party! Come on in!" Invitations were also sent to all major pony cities via pegasus mail. This, of course, included Derpy Hooves, who had a famously bad sense of direction, and she proceeded to accidentally send mail to the dragon, griffin, and savage zebra tribes.
Derpy was traveling above the clouds, attempting to go east from her last destination, Fillydelphia, to go back to her mail house. However, with her terrible sense of direction, she was heading south by mistake. This lead her to the mountains, which were mostly black from soot because of the dragons. A lot of the mountains were actually active volcanos as well, sometimes spewing hot molten rock from their tips. "Huh. I don't remember this on the way home," said a confused Derpy. However, she didn't think much of it and carried on. She was barely narrowly dodging the spewing lava, much less the rock faces of the mountains and volcanos as well. She finally reached dragon territory, where there were terrifying roars from the mountaintops. "What was that?" wondered the grey pegasus. She flew over and down to investigate the noise, and sure enough, there were dragons in the volcanos. "Aam? Aan pony! Bein pony! Pony hokoron! Krii fin bein pony!" Said a large red dragon who seemed to be the leader. In reply, the pegasus said "Um, mister, I don't know what you're saying, but I have some spare invitations! Here you go!" She then handed him an invitation to the party because she had some left, and then she left, flying west. "Aam? 'Come to the Equestria Super Taco Party'? 'At Canterlot Palace'? Fahdon dov! Mu krii ponies ahst 'Canterlot Palace'! Nust ponies fent aus dov bah!" Declared the large red dragon, and the dragons took to Canterlot.
Derpy Hooves was not sure what to think of that dragon, but he seemed like a nice guy. She was still flying west when she came across some griffins. "Look! A pony dare crosses OUR borders!" yelled a griffin with white head feathers and a brown-feathered body. He was sitting on a cloud with two other friends, who had slightly shaggy feathers. Derpy did not know what a border was, so she just gave them an invitation to the fiesta and left. The same griffin examined the letter, and read it aloud. "We hope you can join us at Canterlot Palace for... What?!" cried out the griffin, showing it to his friends. "Equestria Super Taco Party? That's so stupid!" The griffins yelled in unison. Then, one of them had an idea. "Hey, why don't we... crash the party? That would teach those stupid ponies to fly over OUR land!" The other griffins nodded in agreement and the three went back to their home to tell all the others their plan.
"Boy, this sure is an exciting trip home," said Derpy, still flying in the wrong direction. Once again a voice shouted out at her from below. "Who goes there, on our land? Leave now, or suffer by our hands!" It was a male zebra, that seemed very angered by Derpy's presence. "Um, please don't! Here, just take this!" replied the frightened pegasus, handing the zebra an invitation to the fiesta, just like the others. She flew off in the right direction this time, and reached home fairly quickly. Back at the zebra tribe, the zebra, who was the chieftain, was reading the invitation. "What is this, an invitation? Why, it must be a terrible celebration. We must stop it, before it's too late. Come, my zebras, we have a date!"
Now the three civilizations all hated ponies, and they were all going the same direction, so they ran into each other. They decided to work together to organize a gate crash. The dragons would roast the place, the griffins would provide aerial infantry support, and the zebras would send foot-soldiers to capture and secure the palace. When they got there, they were met with no resistance but Princess Celestia, still in her white T-shirt, offering them tacos. The tacos looked like disgusting, repulsive pony food, but the leaders ate them nonetheless because it wouldn't hurt to eat before a battle. The leaders of all three civilizations were instantly hooked on the tacos when they tasted them. They quickly recommended the god-food to their populace and army. They all loved it, and soon the original gate-crashers were now joined in the fiesta, dancing, singing, and eating tacos with all the rest. Princess Luna and the dragons were having a shouting contest which Luna won, causing the dragon leader to declare to his fellow dragons, "Daar pony 'Luna' los dovahkiin! Werid dovahkiin 'Luna'!" All of the dragons then respected ponies from now on. The griffins found some pegasi to hang out with, and stopped being so mean. Twilight Sparkle and Zecora worked together and made the zebras less savage. This fiesta went on for weeks. By the end, everyone was at peace with one another and they were all very happy. All of this had happened because of the power of the taco. A voice popped up. "We should do this again, huh guys? That was great!" said a particular pink pony. Everyone agreed.
