My Little Cyberby Dkw90ChaptersThere's a Time When The Moon......Reveals Its Face From The CloudsThe ShowdownThere's a Time When The Moon... "KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK" Twilight Sparkle flinched at the sudden noise booming from the entrance of the library. "A visitor? But the library isn't suppose to be open for another hour." The young mare calmly made her way to the large oak doors. Using her magic to slowly open the entrance, Twilight was immediately confronted with a smiling pink party pony sporting a yellow and blue party hat. "Oh, good morning Pinkie." Twilight said casually. In a moments notice, Pinkie Pie began to sing what seemed to be... a verbal invitation to some sort of birthday party. It was hard to follow along because of how sudden the outburst had been. "...It won't be the same without you, so we hope that you say yes. So please, oh, please RSVP and come and be our guess!" Pinkie finished with her arms outstretched, that same infectious smile still plastered on her face. "Party tonight?" asked Twilight, "I would love to come, Pinkie." "Great, I can't wait to see you there! I'm sure Gummie is super excited to have you there, isn't that right Mr. birthday-gator?" Pinkie said as she reached behind her back, and produced a small toothless alligator. "Hold on just a second, are you planning to invite all of our friends?" "Wel duh! What kind of party would it be without the rest of the girls?" "I mean, that sounds great and all, but are you sure you have the energy to sing that super long song four more times?" "Oh Twilight, don't be silly. This is Pinkie Pie we're talking about!" "That's exactly what I'm worried about..." muttered Twilight under her breath. "Anyways, thanks for the invite, and I'll see you tonight." "Okie dokie lokie, see ya Twilight." As Pinkie skipped away, Twilight let out a long, heavy sigh. While Pinkie was one of her best friends, her shenanigans could still somehow get on her nerves, especially when they happened so early in the morning. "Everything okay, Twi?" Twilight turned around to see her number one assistant descending the stairs, lazily rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. "Yeah, I'm fine. You know how Pinkie is." said Twilight as she shut the door behind her. "Pinkie Pie? This early in the morning? Why?" "Oh, she was just inviting me to a party tonight. Speaking of which, how would you like to tag along?" Spike let out a long tired yawn, before smacking his lips together. "Sorry Twi, but I didn't exactly sleep too well last night." "Well that sucks, you better get to bed early tonight. You are a growing dragon after all." replied Twilight in an understanding tone, "speaking of growing, did you hit another growth spurt? I think your nearly as tall as me at this point." "Huh?" replied Spike in a confused voice, "I hadn't noticed." "Wow, at this rate, you'll be a full grown dragon in no time!" exclaimed Twilight, "now let's get some breakfast. After that, we can get started on organizing the library." A grumble escaped Spike's stomach at the mention of 'breakfast' "Yeah, breakfast sounds good right about now." It was late in the evening when Twilight and the rest of her friends left Sugar Cube Corner. Night had fallen hours ago, and it seemed like the lights pouring out of the sweet shop were the only form of illumination in the streets. "Woo-we, I haven't had that much fun since... well since your last party. Thanks for the invite!" said Applejack. "See ya later birthday alligator!" shouted Rainbow Dash "Bravo for hosting yet another delightful soiree." complemented Rarity. "It's been lovely." whispered Fluttershy. As Twilight was catching up to her friends, she heard Pinkie shout after her. "You sure you don't wanna stay? There's still some cake left!" Pinkie shouted from the window. "Uh, I think I'm gonna pass. Great party though. We should do this again soon." replied Twilight as she continued to walk away. Rainbow Dash turned towards Twilight as soon as she caught up to the rest of her friends. "Hey, listen Twi, you sure you're gonna be alright walking home at this hour?" "Please Rainbow, I regularly go through the Everfree Forest at this time of night. I'll be fine." "Alright then big shot, I'll catch ya later." The rest of the girls said their goodbyes, before continuing on their separate ways. The moonlight pouring onto the quiet streets was guiding Twilight through the town. The chirps of the crickets and her own soft footsteps seemed to be the only noises within within the village. As Twilight strolled through the streets, she couldn't help but to feel a sense of peace from the atmosphere. The peace was disturbed however, as she suddenly saw an extremely large earth pony burst through a large set of garbage bins, spraying it's contents all over the place. He seemed to hurriedly run down the opposite street in fear. "Hold on, what're you running fr-" She was interrupted a shadow gliding over top of the dirt roads. Twilights turned her gaze upward towards the moon, and immediately stood awe struck. A figure was soaring through the night air, gliding over the many cottages that littered the streets. A long cape was gracefully flapping in the wind behind the individual, and what seemed to be a wide brimmed hat stood atop the strangers head. The lone figure gracefully landed onto the roof of a nearby cottage without making so much as a sound. With a swift kick of it's legs, they were off soaring into the night once more. "Wait you. Stop!" shouted Twilight desperately. Her voice fell on deaf ears however, as both the stallion and the stranger had quickly taken off into the darkness. Without a second thought, Twilight was went chasing after the two individuals. By no means was Twilight one of Ponyville's fastest runners, but she still considered herself around average, finishing the annual running of the leaves. Despite this however, the two figures were covering more ground by the second. Just when Twilight thought the strangers had managed to escape, she heard a loud crash, a muffled scream, then silence. As she turned the corner, she saw the back of the stranger crouching over what seemed to be an unconscious or possibly deceased pony. She was hurriedly running her hands through the stallions pockets. "You, stop right there." demanded the unicorn. The stranger immediately froze as soon as Twilight spoke. It quietly moved its arms to its side, before slowly standing upright, and bringing herself to look directly at the mare. Twilight was stunned as she saw the individual. Though its face was still shrouded by the darkness under the hat, she could make out a tall, slim, and very feminine looking woman. A black body suit hugged close to her body, effectively hiding her coat underneath. Covering the rest of her figure was a pair of black leather boots, along with full leather gloves. The red trim on the back of her cape really brought out the rest of her figure, creating a strong, yet mysterious looking woman. "It's you..." whispered the woman in a low, astonished voice. "Wh- who are you?" asked Twilight as she started to make her way over. "Stay back!" commanded the woman, before leaping away from the confused mare. "Wait!" Twilight shouted after her. However, it was too late, as the woman had already disappeared into the darkness of the night. Twilight then turned her attention towards the stallion lying still on the ground. It's sickly green coat nearly blended into the darkness, but it's messy blond mane couldn't be missed, even in the night. The fur around it's eyes was pitch black, making an appearance close to some sort of mask. But the key feature was defiantly its sheer size, as it could probably tower over Big Mac if it were standing. Hell, it might even be as tall as Princess Celestia herself! Before Twilight had a chance to properly inspect the body, it started glowing a bright green light. After a moment, she heard as hiss as the light died down, revealing a smoking set of trousers, jacket, and combat boots. "That's impossible." muttered Twilight as she inspected the jacket. A glowing green vial slipped out of the monsters jacket. Twilight inspected the vial for a moment, before shoving it into her purse, and making her way home. Unbeknownst to her, a shadow in a nearby alleyway witnesses the event. And quietly followed the unicorn. Twilight slowly opened the door to the library, before sneaking in, and gently shutting it behind her. Though the excitement from the nights events hadn't worn off yet, she made sure to be extra quiet for Spike's sake. He is a growing dragon after all. She slowly made her way over to a large wooden desk, and proceeded to drag various quills and parchments out of the draws, along with some basic chemistry equipment. Then, ever so carefully, she lifted the glowing vial out of her purse. Twilight examined it for a long while, she had never seen anything like it in any of her books. She slowly lifted a hand to the cap, and twisted the bit of steel off, producing a low hiss from the vial. She then pored the smallest amount's into a nearby tray. The bit of plastic melted away as soon as it made contact with the mysterious liquid. "Acid? But why?" Twilight questioned aloud, before furiously scribbling some notes onto the parchment. Suddenly, a portion of the moonlight pouring from the window was blocked out, causing Twilight to turn towards the obstruction. Standing on the window sill, was the mysterious woman. "Please give me the vial." the woman asked in a soft voice. She slowly stepped off the sill, and made her way towards the nervous unicorn. "Wha- what vial?" Twilight asked, quietly sliding the rest of the glowing substance under her desk. "The vial." demanded the woman, "you're the only one who could have taken it." Twilight then began pacing back and forth across the room. "Look, I don't know who you are, but you can't just go around taking things from strangers." She then heard a muffled groan coming from the stranger. When Twilight looked over, she saw that the woman had fallen into her knees, while clutching her shoulder in pain. Twilight ran over to help. "Woah, are you okay?" The stranger looked up at Twilight. Disregarding her previous question. "Please, you're in great danger." With the warning escaped for her lips, there was a crash at the door. Looking over, Twilight saw another one of the ginormous green stallions. Its pure blood red eyes glared daggers through Twilight, before letting forth a battle cry, and charging towards the two women. Twilight quickly jumped out of the way as soon as she heard the stallion coming, then turned her eyes over towards the woman who hadn't moved an inch. "Look out!" cried Twilight. The stranger was about to get hit by the monstrous fist accelerating dangerously towards her. But at a moments noticed, the strange woman took off into the air, causing the beast to run his fist into the floor below. When the woman fell behind the stallion, she delivered a powerful kick into the beast's head, pushing herself away from the intruder, and shoving the monster at Twilights desk. The stallion let out another loud roar, before ripping the heavy wood desk off the floor. Turning towards the stranger, the monster started swinging the slab of wood at the woman, who proceeded to dodge each hit with ease. After a few swings from the stallion, the woman threw a punch at the monster, snapping the wood into splinters, and effecting delivering a powerful blow into the stallions head. She then sent a volley of her own punches toward the stallion, each one making it's mark, and causing the beast to cry out in pain. The fight stopped abruptly however, as a sharp pain shot up through the woman's arm. She let out a cry of pain, immediately grabbing at the same shoulder as before. The stallion took used opportunity to take the offensive, and immediately grabbed the woman by the head. He lifted her into the air, and threw her into a nearby wall, causing cracks to form in the wood. The stallion roared into her face. "You killed brother! Now you must die!" "Leave her alone!" shouted Twilight, before sending a magical energy beam directly at the stallion. The impact landed on the beast's chest, forcing him off of the woman. He screamed at the unicorn, before charging at her, and throwing another punch. Twilight couldn't dodge the hit, and the impact tossed her into one of the many book shelves in the library, completely knocking her unconscious. The stallion then turned his attention back towards the woman clad in black, only to find that she had disappeared. The monster felt a strong force push him from behind, before getting thrown out a nearby window. The woman quickly jumped in pursuit. The stranger landed on top of the falling monster, then proceeded to jump, accelerating his decent from the library dramatically. There was a horrifying crack as the monster hit the ground below. By the time the woman had landed, the disintegration process had already begun. The same green light shone brilliantly as the monster dissipated into nothingness, leaving a pile of old clothes behind. And a vial of bubbling green acid. The woman quickly grabbed the vial from the remains of the monster, and with a flick of her fingers, the cap came flying off. Bringing the vial to her lips, she guzzled the liquid. The woman then directed her attention towards the top of the treehouse, where a gaping hole had formed. "I suppose I have some unfinished business" spoke the woman, before jumping back into the side of the house. ...Reveals Its Face From The Clouds On the outskirts of town, there stood a large abandoned warehouse, previously owned by the Easy Breezy pegasus delivery service. Apparently, a certain grey pegasus had either lost or broke all of the shipments she was given, losing most of the business. Without any orders to ship out, the establishment was forced to close its doors for good, completely abandoning the old warehouse. Unbeknownst to the citizens of Ponyville, a new group had taken residence in the old building, one with a much darker and sinister agenda. Inside one of the few dusty rooms, there sat a pale blue stallion with a spikey black mane sticking out of his head. He was conversing with a showy figure behind a holographic screen emitted from a large red crystal. "Unit, report." came a voice from the red gem. "Good evening sir, we've almost finished establishing the base in Ponyville, though we've ran into some... complications." "Complications? What do you mean 'complications.'" the shadow man growled. The blue earth pony was starting to sweat bullets. "T-t-two Fixed-Ideas were deactivated last night. All of their belongings were reclaimed... except for their vials of sustenance." "Two units?" questioned the mysterious voice, "I need you to get to the bottom of this immediately, unit." "Oh, um, of course sir! Right away!" "Good." the voice on the other side settled down, "For additional assistance, I'll be sending Chromosome to that back water town." "Of course sir, I'll have the rest of the units prepare for his arrival" "Excellent. Don't fail me, unit." The red glow of the hologram then disappeared, leaving the very nervous stallion alone in the dark. "KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK" Twilight groggily lifted herself from the warm confines of her bed. Atop of her head was a tangled unkept mane, while large bags rested under THER tired eyes. Slowly, she made her way towards the door... ...to reveal Pinkie Pie. "It's soon!" exclaimed the excited earth pony. Twilight quickly closed the door behind her, and let out a long heavy sigh. She defiantly wasn't a doctor, but she was certain that having an eccentric pink pony bothering you every morning couldn't be healthy. Turning around, Twilight took a good hard look at the once empty living room which now housed a large pile of books at the centre. "This is gonna take ages to clean up." she muttered. She then heard the sound of someone someone hurriedly making their way down the stairs. "Twilight!" Spike exclaimed, "you're up, are you okay?" "Of course Spike, why wouldn't I be?" Spike looked at her with a look of surprise on his face. "You mean you don't remember what happened? I found you unconscious underneath a broken book case. There was a giant hole on the side of the library for crying out loud!" The memories of last night quickly flooded into Twilights head. "By Celestia, she got away." "What? Who got away?" Twilight took a deep breath, before beginning her tale. "I saw this mysterious mare clad in black last night. She was chasing this ginormous green stallion in the middle of ye night." "What? Was this the woman who attacked you?" Spike asked, anger rising in his voice. "Surprisingly, no. She just wanted to hunt down that monster. When I confronted her, she completely vanished into the night." "Wait, she just vanished? Just like that?" "Weird, right." Twilight continued, "But it turns out she followed back here, where she wanted to take this weird vial of green acid from me. But then, another one of these stallions burst into the house!" "Just like that? Was he the one who hurt you?" Spike probed. "Unfortunately, yes. He was gonna kill that woman, Spike! After I got him off her, he threw me into that broken book case upstairs. Everything went black from there." Spike blankly stared at Twilight. "Listen Twilight, not that I'm questioning your sanity or anything, but are you sure you weren't dreaming or something?" Twilight marched up the staircase, towards the remnants of her old desk, and Spike quickly followed suit. Once up stairs, she bent down to pick the glowing green vial off the floor, and showed it to Spike. He held a look only astonishment on his face. "Am I dreaming this, Spike" Twilight asked. "By Celestia. Is that what the woman was after?" "I think so." responded Twilight, "Wait a second, didn't you hear any of the fighting last night?" "I heard a few crashes, but... I slept through them..." Spike meekly replied. "Slept through them? How on earth could you sleep through something like that?" Twilight accused. "Come on, Twilight, you know I'm a heavy sleeper." responded Spike "Anyways, it took the sound of the window breaking to finally wake me up. I ran to your study to find you unconscious by the book shelf." Spike worked back a sniffle, before continuing his story. "I was scared Twi. I just saw you laying there unconscious, and I-I panicked." Twilight's attitude quickly did a one-eighty as she brought Spike into a hug. The dragon was desperately fighting back tears. "Hey listen, it's okay Spike, I'm fine. Don't worry about me." Spike slowly pulled away from Twilight before continuing. "Everyone was already asleep, so I didn't know who to grab. All I could do was wrap up your head, and put you in your bed, hoping you'd be fine in the morning." "You wrapped up my head?" questioned Twilight. She lifted her hand towards the top of her head, and felt a cloth underneath her bangs. "I'm sorry I couldn't do more Twilight. I was a nervous wreck. I didn't want to lose you." "I told you, Spike, I'm all right." Twilight reassured, "Just a little bump on my head. I'll be fine." "I'm glad you're alright Twilight," Spike responded with a slight smile on his face, "but what are we going to do about the woman? Notify the guard ponies?" Twilight thought for a long moment. "No Spike, I think that would be a bad idea." "But why?" asked Spike, "That woman sounds dangerous. Technically speaking, she was the reason that thug tossed you!" "Maybe so Spike, but I think she's in trouble." Spike stared at Twilight, his mouth slightly agape. He couldn't believe Twilight wanted to help a stranger who nearly got her killed! "Alright, fine, no guards. But we have to do something!" "I need to find her, and get some answers from her. She may be dangerous, but she doesn't seem like the bad guy." Spike placed a hand on her shoulder, and looked directly in her eyes. "Be careful Twi, It was a close call last night, and I don't want anything else happen to you." Twilight placed a reassuring smile on her lips. "Don't worry Spike, she never once tried to hurt me." she replied, "now come help me put some books away. We got to hurry, because I need to pick up a birthday cake soon..." The rest of the morning was spent placing the books back on their respected shelves, and repairing a broken window and shelf. After their chores, Spike went to go see if he could assist Rarity with any chores around the boutique. On the other hand, Twilight made her way towards Sugarcube Corner to pick up a cake. She may be slightly injured, but that wasn't about to stop her from throwing Pinkie Pie the best surprise party ever. She couldn't wait to see the look on her face. Within the warehouse, the blue Stallion stood in front of a large wooden desk, patiently waiting for the Doctors latest arrival. Should the rumours be true, this was one of the Doctors greatest scientific achievements, so he needed to protect this unit with his life. Suddenly, the doors quickly opened with a bang, and a Fixed-Idea, larger than any of the average ones, made his way into the room. "Um, Mister Chromosome?" asked the blue stallion. "He's not Chromosome!" came a high pitched voice. As on cue, a small beige colt marched around the Fixed-Idea, and stood impatiently in front of it. "Wait," said the astonished blue stallion, "you're Chromosome." The swept his long, unkept black mane out of his face, and marched his way past the stallion. "You're the Techno in charge of this operation, correct?" "Um, yes. Howev-" "Good," Chromosome stated abruptly, "you will do everything that I say..." He struggled to climb his way in top of the wooden desk, the stood proudly on top. He quickly adjusted his red-tinted glasses before finishing. "... and in the future, you shall stand in my presence." "Well, that didn't exactly turned out as planned, but I'm glad she enjoyed the party." Twilight said as she walked home from Sweet Apple Acres with Spike and Rarity at her sides. The sun was slowly setting beyond the horizon. Night would soon make its way across all of Equestria. "I completely agree," replied Rarity, "I'm sure it was much better than spending the evening with a bucket of radishes." Spike, Twilight, and Rarity let out a soft laugh. "I sure hope so." replied Twilight, before turning her attention towards the young dragon walking beside her, "are you sure you're gonna be alright tonight, Spike?" Before Spike could respond, Rarity piped up. "But why wouldn't he be, darling?" "Well..." Twilight trailed off. "We had a bit of a break in last night," Spike stated bluntly, "There was a fight, broken property, you know the usual." "What!" Rarity shouted sounding alarmed, "A break in? Are you two alright?" "We're fine, though I got a bit of a concussion." responded Twilight. "Break in's? Concussions? This simply won't do!" Rarity announced dramatically, "What if these ruffians decide to return?" "I'll probably be out of the house, looking for someone to help me capture the criminals." "This 'someone', are you sure they can bring these ruffians to justice?" Rarity asked worriedly. "If anything, she'll give me answers." Twilight replied. "But what of Spike? You musn't simply leave my little spikey wikey home alone, not with these monsters out and about." "I..." Twilight trailed off, "I didn't think of that. By Celestia, what if they hurt Spike while I'm gone?" "Don't worry Twilight," said Spike, "I can handle a few thugs." "No no no!" Rarity exclaimed, "I couldn't sleep at night knowing that my little dragon was in danger." The fashionista brought her hand up to her chin, as if thinking of an idea. "I got it, what if Spike were to stay with me tonight, while you were off to go deal with these ruffians." "Oh, are you sure?" Twilight asked, "I wouldn't want to impose." "Wait, don't I get a say in this?" Spike said, "What if Twilight needs my help." "Are you actually trying to talk your way out of spending an evening with Rarity?" Twilight questioned with a smirk forming on her face. Spike immediately covered his face in his claws, desperately trying to hide the blush on his face. "Really Twilight," Rarity stated, "It would be no problem at all." "Well, thank you for your hospitality Rarity," Twilight replied, "we just need to stop by the library to pick up some toiletries and a change of clothes for Spike." "Well we're here!" exclaimed Rarity as she entered the boutique with Spike, "let me show you the guest room." The pair made their way up a staircase, before entering a spare bedroom. It housed a single bed, a simple drawer, and a large window with its long white drapes drawn back, letting the moonlight pour into the room. "I know it's rather simplistic, but it will do for the time being. What do you think?" asked Rarity. She turned around to see the dragon looking solemnly at the floor. "... Is something the matter, Spike?" "I'm abandoning her, Rarity." Spike responded with sadness in his voice, "These thugs hurt her yesterday. What if something even worse happens tonight?" "Spike, look at me." Rarity demanded, using her hand to lift his head, he gazed into her lovely blue eyes. "What happened yesterday wasn't your fault. These ruffians are the ones to blame, not you." Rarity took a deep breath. "I understand that you feel obligated to help her, she's like a sister to you after all. But you're technically still a baby dragon. Neither Twilight nor myself want to see a single scale on you harmed." With that said, she slowly removed her hand, and made her way to the door. "Besides, Twilight is the most gifted unicorn I've ever met. If any-pony can find these criminals and bring them to justice, it's her. Don't worry that little head of yours." Spike brought a small smile onto his face. "Thanks Rarity. I really needed to hear that." The white unicorn returned a smile. "No worries darling. Now you should probably get some sleep. Goodnight, spikey wikey." With that said, Rarity gently closed the door to the bedroom, leaving Spike alone in the dark. He let out a long sigh, and threw his duffle bag onto the bed. He then made his way over to the window, and peered out into the dark streets below. "But it is my fault." he told himself in a much softer voice, "I was the one who led the damn Fixed-Idea to the library." Spike lifted a hand towards the top of his head. With a gentle push, the green scales softly folded towards the side of his head. "She needs my help. She can't handle a group of these monsters alone." With that said, Spike gentler slid his hoodie off of his back, and quietly removed his jeans. Reaching into his bag, he produced a black leather body suit, along with matching gloves, boots, hat and cape. He quietly slipped the costume on, making sure each article as securely in place, shielding his scales from any prying eyes. Spike slowly made his was over to the reflection, and gently placed the wide brimmed hat atop his head, shrouding his face in darkness. He then slowly opened the window. As he climbed outside, he was no longer the scared little dragon that cowered in the face of danger. Instead, there stood a strong and fearless mistress of the night, ready to take on another one of the Doctors sick experiments. "Don't worry, I'm coming, Twi." she whispered in her low, feminine voice. And with a kick of her legs, she was off soaring into the night. She had a unicorn to save. The Showdown It was an hour or so past sunset, and the shadow of the evening descended upon the small town. Unbeknownst to the residences, a small group of dangerous individuals were camped outside of a large tree house, ready to breach the home within a moments notice. A Fixed-Idea let out a yawn, bringing a tired green hand to cover his mouth. He was immediately smacked on the side of the head by a small colt. "Pay attention you fool!" commanded Chromosome, "Watch out for anything suspicious!" "Um, what do you mean 'suspicious'?" the Brute asked. The short-tempered colt was grinding his teeth. How could his father create a 'super being' that was so moronic? "Listen here, slime for brains, where looking for-" The boy was immediately cut off as a shadow burst through a series of wooden boards covering the hole on the side of the library. Chromosome immediately directed his attention towards the rest of the fixed ideas. "After them!" he shouted. The green monstrosities began to stumble over one another in an attempt to breach the library as quickly as possible. It was almost quite comical. "Hurry, you fools, before they get away!" Inside the dim library, Twilight stared at the mysterious green vial in silence, wondering if the hidden secrets it held. She was immediately disturbed as she heard a crash by the broken window, and witnessed the woman clad in black quickly making her way towards the unicorn. "Out. Now." her voice commanded. "Why, what's going on?" A loud banging emitting from the floor below provided enough of an answer. She directed her attention back towards the woman clad in black. "Please," begged the woman, "give me the vial" With a sigh, Twilight held the mysterious substance out towards the woman. She took one last look at it before handing it off to the mysterious woman. There was a crash as the front door was kicked down below. The two women heard a child yell "Quickly, find them!" The woman quietly turned towards Twilight. "Hide." was all she whispered. Twilight hurriedly made her way behind the woman, and crouched behind a large wooden book stand, hiding herself from the coming threat. In a series of loud thumps came from the staircase, and a Fixed-Idea poked his head out from behind the railing. "She's up here!" In an instant, a much larger herd of monsters appeared along side the giant. A small colt marched his way around the mob, and stood tall in front of the group of stallions, glaring at the lone figure. The woman lifted the front of her hat, revealing her features for the young colt. "Is it me, you're looking for?" The boy silently stared at the woman, utterly shocked by view. "It's a Cyber..." he muttered, "Y-you're Cybersix." He then shook his head, and pointed an accusing finger at her direction. "So you're the one who has been disrupting our operations." Placing the hat back onto her head, Cybersix held the vial directly out in front of her. "Kiddie wants his science experiment back?" mocked Cybersix, "Well come and catch me, little boy!" In one swift motion, she flipped out the open hole in the wall, and proceeded to run along the roofs of the cottages. "No! You four, after her!" Chromosome commanded. A pack of Fixed-Ideas stumbled after the rouge Cyber, while Chromosome directed his attention to the single brute left behind. "You, you're coming with me back to the warehouse. We need to evacuate, now!" They hastily made their way of the the library, and out onto the path of the library. Twilight then quietly lifted herself out of her hiding place. "Warehouse, huh?" she said aloud, "I suppose that's one way to narrow the search." On the rooftops of Ponyville, Cybersix was leading the pack of furious Fixed-Ideas away from the library. "That's it," she thought, "right this way." In a single leap, she launched herself over an adjacent street, and hopped onto the top of the town hall. The monsters followed suit, though at dramatically slower pace than the woman. In one last jump, she launched herself onto the very top of the building, and set herself on the rounded poll at the top. The Fixed-Ideas cautiously yet threateningly made their way towards the seated individual. "Hey, bozo's!" she called out, "Next time, try a salad!" The confused monsters slowly gazed down towards the cracks forming in the roof. Fear overtook them, as the foundation crumbled away, causing the stallions to fall below. "Wow, somebody's gotta fix that broken roof..." muttered Cybersix. She turned her attention towards the outskirts of town, where a few glimpses of lights where pouring out of a boarded up warehouse. "Now, onto the matter at hand." The inside of the warehouse was chaotic. Various Fixed-Ideas scrambled to load a cart full of various scientific and magical instruments. "Faster you fools!" shouted Chromosome, "We can't afford to leave a single piece of evidence behind!" Hidden behind a stack of nearby crates, a purple unicorn was examining the scene taking place in front of her. "What are all of these?" Twilight questioned, "What the hay are these psychopaths planning?" She quickly ducked as another one of the minions made his way past the hiding spot. "Whatever it is, I need to stop it." Outside of the old warehouse, Cybersix was witnessing what appeared to be the mobilization of a large group of monsters. "One annoying ring leader, surrounded by a pack of these mutants." she told herself aloud, "This shouldn't be too difficult." Quietly making her way though a broken window, Cybersix softly landed onto a metal platform. Leaping onto one of the many crossbeams above the warehouse she silently hopped her way towards the group of thugs. When she got into a comfortable position, she brought two fingers towards her mouth, and quickly let out a high pitched whistle. Throughout the warehouse, the high pitched whistle pierced the ears of the creatures down below. They desperately covered their ears in an attempt to shield themselves from the blaring noise invading the structure. One by one, the lights above the operation to burst, wrapping the once lively warehouse in darkness. "What? Who goes there?" Chromosome cried out into the night. He was responded with a loud smack, as one of his minions hit the floor, unconscious. Swinging elegantly on a suspended chains, Cybersix gracefully landed onto a different set of crossbeams. "Isn't it a past your bedtime, boy?" she mocked. The colt let out a high pitched growl, before turning towards the group of awestruck end thugs. "What are you waiting for, after her!" he screamed. The rest of the group charged after her, while Chromosome reached out after a single monster, and pulled him down towards his head. "Not you!" he demanded, "You need to load this cart!" On the other side of the warehouse, Cybersix was brawling with the group of thugs. One threw a punch down towards her, which Cybersix avoided by quickly leaping into the air. She landed on top of the mobsters shoulders, the proceeded to leap away. The Fixed-Idea was tackled by one of his brothers. Landing gently to the floor, Cybersix then drove a powerful upper cut to another one of the unfortunate henchman, sending him toppling through the air. Hidden in the back, Twilight stood watching the fight in astonishment. This woman was single handedly taking on that group of criminals, and she was somehow winning! However, she turned her attention towards a Fixed-Idea, loading a humongous bolt into an equally impressive crossbow. A look of horror covered her face, as she turned her attention towards the lone woman. "Cybersix, look out!" she called out. The woman shot a glance at Twlight, and then quickly turned her head towards the armed minion. With a squeeze of the trigger, the bolt was sent soaring through the air, heading directly towards the woman wrapped in shroud. Cybersix briskly leaped away from the bolt, only seconds before the impact. The bulb discharged its payload, erupting in a terrifying blast. Igniting the many crates abandoned in the warehouse, the fire quickly spread, engulfing the old building in flames. Above the inferno, Cybersix was battling the remnants of Chromosomes forces. Kicking the legs of one unfortunate soul sent him falling towards the flames below. A kick towards another thug sent him toppling backwards, and befalling the same fate as his brother. Cybersix leaped another steel crossbeam, soaring towards a metal shelving unit, filled to the brim with old parcels and packages. "What are you waiting for? Pull you worthless dolt!" Chromosome commanded. The Fixed-Idea desperately started to make his way towards the exit of the doomed building. Positioning herself behind the shelf, Cybersix began pushing the giant metal unit. It slowly tilted towards the cart, before coming down on top the the criminals below. Chromosome narrowly escaped wave of old and packages, desperately jumping away from the impending doom. He furiously turned his attention towards the woman. "You'll pay for this!" the colt cried, before hastily his way towards the nearest exit. Cybersix was about to follow suit, until she heard a cry coming from behind. "Cybersix, help!" Twilight yelled. She was surrounded by a blazing inferno, effectively blocking off any exit she had. "Hold on!" replied Cybersix as she made her way towards the helpless mare. Jumping over the flames, she landed next to the scared unicorn. "Where do we go?" Twilight asked desperately, "We're trapped!" Cybersix quickly picked up the terrified mare. "What ever you do, hold on tight." With Twilight in her arms, Cybersix leaped away from the raging inferno, and hopped her way through one of the broken windows. Soaring through the air, the two woman softly landed into a patch of grass, a safe distance away from the condemned warehouse. Twilight shakily looked up at the woman, her large violet eyes peering at the woman. "Y-you saved me." she stuttered. Cybersix gently placed the woman on the ground, before slowly backing away from the shocked mare. "Wait!" Twilight called out, "Will I ever see you again?" Cybersix took one last look at the unicorn, before leaping back into the darkness of the night. Hidden beneath the many dangers of the Everfree Forest, there laid a secret underground complex, full of various threatening experiments. Sitting in a lavish leather chair, a red stallion was speaking into a strange tube like device. "What do you mean you were forced to evacuate?" the Stallion questioned. "Wait, one of my experiments?" he continued. "Cybersix?" he asked astonished, "Direct the rest of the units towards the base in Manehatten then." The red stallion the placed the device onto the desk, and quietly sulked in the dark. "I can't believe it. After all of these years. Cybersix, she's alive." Within the town of Ponyville, the woman wrapped in shroud gazed off into the distance. "You can come for me Doctor." she stated aloud, "This time, I won't run."
There's a Time When The Moon...
