Nexus pov : I woke up to see lots of forest. I had a pain in my head and leather bat-like wings. I looked and saw a giant hole in one of them. "Well it looks like that'll take a while to heal." Suddenly pain coursed through me. "Damn that hurts like hell." I looked around, "Where the hell am I anyway?"  At that moment a wave of sadness flowed through me. "Oh yeah."

Flashback to three hours ago

All I saw was ruin of the city that once stood in the great east plain. As my father, Vulgar, was destroying it, he killed Chris' friends Sean, Jill and Noah. I was standing by Chris beaten and worn.

"We can't win this", Chris said. As I looked at him with acknowledgement he went on. "But I think I can save you." "I'm not leaving without you!"

I replied, " We don't have a choice!"

We heard a loud roar. Vulgar was getting closer. A small smile crept on Chris' face. "Hey when you arrive to the new world, Can you do me a favor?

"I looked at him shocked. "Why?"

"Well, think of it as you're going to live and not me favor."

I looked at him and said, "Okay, I'll do it. What is it?"

He looked at me and said, "Make the people you're going to meet see you as a hero or protector as I have." Then, as quickly as he said it, he began making ancient hand signs as he chanted "seo fai to mai sero mol FO."  A blue portal appeared.  A giant roar filled the air. We saw the giant monstrosity that is Vulgar. He was a huge demon with two long straight bull like horns on the top of his head, purple skin, glowing flaming eyes, long dark hoof feet, black hair, shark-like teeth and very muscular.

Chris pushed me through the portal. The last thing I saw was my friend being gored by Vulgar's horns. When I exited the portal I hit a tree and fell twenty feet. I hit the  top of a boulder and cracked the boulder in half.

Present Time

As I stood up, my demon/genie was healing me. The pain was gone (hmm my wings still needs a few hours to heal). I then folded my wings into my dark steel jacket. I picked up my dark steel sword and walked into the forest.

30 minutes later

(Hmm, I'm getting nowhere. If only my wings were healed.) Suddenly, I heard a growl. Three wolves made of wood were approaching me. "Well that's new. Oh well, some action at least." One of them lunged at me and tried to bite my shoulder. I didn't attempt to stop it. As soon as the wolf connected, its fangs broke. "I don't know if you can understand me, but my armor has trace bits of dark steel. One of the hardest and heaviest metal in hell." The three wolves didn't seem too understand. "Oh well." I then proceeded to slice the one that attacked me in half. My sword made a sickening shing sound as it sliced though. The second one lunged at me. I jumped over it as I sliced its head off and landed on the third wolf. It tried to shake me off but I held on. The bulls in hell were more challenging than these wolves. With one quick motion, I sliced its head off and his body crumbled like the other two. "Well that takes care o.."

Just then, the twigs and sticks of the wolves came together into one big wolf, the size of a three story building. "Great, I think it's time to use the five worlds of grief." The beast attempted to slam its claw onto me. "Denial's wall", I commanded. My 360 degree impenetrable, invisible shield immediately appeared."Now anger's fire". A flame that is hotter than the flames of hell, exited my mouth and hit the wolf. The wolf and the surrounding forest to burned to ash. "Oops, I think I over did it."

While scratching my head full of black hair, I looked west and said "Don't worry Chris, I will fulfill my promise. Demon vision!" As I walked, my crimson red eyes turned yellow.  I saw dozens of souls in what looked like a town as I exited the forest

"Hmm, the souls here are weaker than the ones on my world, but seven of them appear interesting." I looked to my left and saw  what appeared to be a cabin with a shifting chaos spirit inside. "Make that 8 interesting souls." (Hmm, that purple soul seems to be the leader. Its soul is bigger than all but the chaos spirit, of course.  It looks like my wings are healed so I can fly now, though I prefer to walk).

As I walked towards the village, I saw......ponies. Great, not only are their souls weaker than the ones on my planet, their ponies are as well. However, a promise is a promise. I walked towards what looked like a town square and saw six ponies with the biggest souls around. Two of them looked like Pegasuses, two others looked like regular ponies, one looked like a unicorn and the last one looked like a mixture of all of them. I assumed it was their leader. I went to go talk to them.

Twilight POV: I was talking to my five friends about the timber wolf infestation when we were interrupted by a voice. "Yo" it said, as we turned around and looked it appeared to be a bipedal figure. It was wearing black leather jacket with deep black hair and crimson eyes. A black blade was wrapped around his waist.  Fluttershy was afraid. Applejack, Rarity, and I gasped. Rainbow looked like she was ready to fight and Pinke Pie cheered, "Yay the main character is here."We all looked at her with sheer confusion. "Wha...?", I said. Pinke  just kept her simile.

the figure spoke saying "Hi, I'm Nexus"

Nexus POV : Well, I've said hi and three of them are shocked. One wants to fight, one looked interesting, and one is scared out of its mind. "Well, is it rude in this place to say your name?", I say with a grin on my face. The purple one responded quickly with a stutter as I predicted.

"N-no, it is not. I take it that you're new here." I chuckled and said, "Yes, you can say that. In fact, I'm moving here to protect whatever empire or kingdom that owns this town because of a promise."

The purple one turned to a look of shock then a look of unease. "W-well, I'm the princess of this town" I looked at her and replied, "Whatever, it seems that I have to protect this town and you. I began to float. They all looked shocked. I said "What never seen a half genie before?" They merely shook their heads. "Anyway, as I was  sayin.." Suddenly, screams filled the next street over. The six ponies galloped in that direction.

"You coming or not" said the blue one

"Sure," I said as I ran with them.

As we ran or in their case galloped to what looked like a market place. What we saw scared them, but interested me. It was a huge bear, probably three to four stories tall. Its coat was blue and decorated in stars. The bear was roaring loudly and stomping on every store and stall.

"We got to do something!", said the purple one.

I replied, "No I'll handle it." I withdrew my sword. It's shining blackness gleamed in my eye as I walked toward the giant bear. As I prepared to do the five worlds of grief on him, the bear swung its paw at me. I jumped over it and sliced his paw. Blood was oozing out of the wound. It roared and tried to swing at me again. I immediately reveled my demon wings and took to the air. I flew all around its body slicing bits and pieces of it as blood continued to seep from its wounds.

"I think it's time to end this petty game!", I yelled as my sword began to glow. "Acceptance slash!" I swung my sword. As it connected there was a bright light. The bear's soul was ripped apart, as I decapitated its head. I looked at its corpse and thought, hmm, maybe I can use it's skin as a banner. The six ponies galloped towards me with looks of anger and disbelief.

"Why did you kill the Ursa Minor?" all but the yellow one yelled since she was busy sobbing.

"What? It was destroying your town, so I dealt with the thing that you call an Ursa Minor."

"We wouldn't have had kill it.  We could've sent it back to the Everfree Forest" said the purple one.

I calmly answered, "Sorry, I won't do it again unless you want me to."I put my sword back into its scabbard.

The purple horse added, "I don't know if Princess Celestia will believe me about this."

We went back into town square. Maybe, I should ask her who the princess is.
