The Detective Who Likes To Watch Rainbows

Dear Rainbow Dash:

I write to you in my greatest distress. As you will come to learn later today, the Elements of Harmony have been stolen. No demands have been made, nor any threats been declared.

In all honestly, we haven’t a clue on why someone would take the Elements. All the obvious reasons have been exhausted, and nothing else remains. The Royal Guard are at their wit’s end, and due to certain reasons, I myself cannot get involved in the matter.

I fear this case is above even the five of you girls. Working together this time won’t bring an answer, but suspicion from others.  This is why I write to you in secrecy, and hope you keep it this way. Five days from now, I'll need a favor from you.

There is a detective who lives on the outskirts of Ponyville who you will have the misfortune of knowing. An unlikable character, but one that plays his part well. Enlist in him this mystery and you’ll have it solved; as long as you’re willing to put up with him.

And I ask you must, not for only your’s and I’s sake, but for that of the world.

Please, Rainbow: find Spike the detective and solve this case. I can rely solely on you.
