A Storm Of Love

The wind raced through the caves and caverns that lined the sea-front cliffs. Rain fell like icy bullets in a hurricane, the smell of sea lingered miles inland.

Normal ponies would be put off from going out in this monster of a storm, but not Sky Song. She was the youngest child of two wonderbolts after all, she also had two older brothers and an older sister to live with

What was a little storm?

'Hurry!' A very stressed Twilight was calling in the last of Canterlots elite.

The storm had hit Canterlot the hardest, which wasn't surprising considering the mountain city's high altitude and valley prone to flooding.

Twilight had been called to Canterlot a few days prior to the evacuation of the elite from the city, from an urgent letter sent by Princess Celestia about a storm on the way.

Twilight violet magical aura shone around a piece of parchment as she read the letter again.

Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle,

It is of the utmost importance that you, and your friends, the bearers of the elements of harmony, travel to Canterlot immediately.

There is a magical storm tearing through Equestria traveling from Baltimare towards Canterlot and Ponyville.

Twilight looked up at that moment as she heard The doors slam shut. After a lightning quick headcount she returned to reading the letter

You and your friends are vital to Equestria's survival and need to be secured with Equestria's royal and elite in the safety of Canterlot Castle.

The castle shall be secured by a spell, which deflects storms, even magical ones, cast by the royal party.

Time is of the essence my student!

Rainbow cantered into the storm, looking for her daughter, she saw her sitting at the edge of the cliff-

Rainbow Dash, the element of loyalty, came bursting through the palace doors followed by none other than the Wonderbolts.

She noticed that their entrance had drawn all eyes to them. She scanned the room to see Twilight studying a letter

'I wonder what that's about?' Dash thought.

Reading her mind Rarity explained that it was a letter summoning the six mares to Canterlot.

Rainbow decided against questioning how Rarity had found that out. Twilight always kept the subject of her letters to and from Princess Celestia completely private, however, Rarity, even as the element of generosity, was well known for snooping on other ponies business, no doubt she had sneaked a look at the letter the last time she was at the library.

'Hey! Rainbow Dash!' A cheerful male voice called out. Dash spun on the spot and saw none other than Soarin' Skies- Deputy Captain of the Wonderbolts.

'S-s-s- Soarin! Umm hey!' She replied 'great now I sound like fluttershy' she thought.

'Hey! I just wanted to say thanks on behalf of the team for telling us about the evacuation of the 'Elite'!' He replied, a huge grin plastered on his face.

'Sky Song! What are you doing all the way out here by yourself? Where's Spectrum Blast?' Dash frantically ran towards her daughter

'Oh, hey Mom', the younger Pegasus replied.

'Whats wrong honey?' Dash asked, wrapping a wing around her daughter

'Nothin', I'm fine!' Sky Songs frown deepened

'Dont 'nothing' me young lady! I know something's wrong so spill!' Dash got more agitated every time her daughter gave her 'Nothing' as an answer.

Sky Song sighed

'Fiiiiiiiiiiiiinne, it's school, I don't fit in at all and I don't have any friends because my passion is singing NOT flying mom, and no one seems to understand that! I don't want to fly I want to sing! I DONT WANNA BE LIKE YOU!!!!'

Rainbow spun and saw a red faced Rarity shouting at a very scared looking Prince Blue blood.
