A Storm Of Love

Night had fallen over the deserted city of Canterlot, not that anypony could tell due to the growing amount of cloud, encasing Canterlot in a blanket of darkness. princess Luna was taking over from her sister, Celestia, keeping an eye on the fast approaching storm.

'I believe that the storms weaker, outer walls will have hit by dawn, sister, we should have all doors barricaded by guards as a precaution' Luna said, panic and fear etched into her usually calm and peace full voice.

'I agree Luna, and through no fault of her own I believe Rainbow Dash may have powered the storm a little more with her transformation, given her magic is centered and most power full in the weather and natural elements ' Celestia replied, her grave tone worrying the Lunar princess more.

Soarin' was with a small patrol of guards who were unpacking ginormous crates filled to the brim with supplies to make the Elite's stay as 'comfortable' as possible when a thought suddenly entered his mind;

' Stupid Soarin'!! You should have told her about your feelings before, then maybe you would have a chance to be with her,but then again... if she has been a queen all this time, why would she be interested in some pony like me?'

Soarin ' felt a tear run a track down his face and heard it splash near silently on the floor.

She would never love some pony like him and even if she did, she wouldn't be able to marry him, and he knew it.

Suddenly a cyan hoof wiped the tear from his face and an all too familiar voice, full of kindness and compassion, spoke.

'Hey Soar, you ok what's wr.....' Rainbow was cut off by a completely unexpected, but warmly welcomed gesture, he kissed her.
