Oh boy.....
Y'know I hate nether portals right?
Load Full StoryNext ChapterSometimes when you know that your enchanted over powered armor is going to break is when you go, "Shoot". But for me, it's no biggie since I can make more, mine more diamonds, craft them into armor and weapons, blah blah blah. It can get boring being alone in a world that can be explored bit by bit and can seem endless, which is why I invite friends from all over to come to my mansion that took me a long time to build. Sometimes when people like Alex comes I can feel happy and play games with them, but we're no longer kids. As of right now, I'm stuck in the nether, which is basically a hellish landscape that is full of red rocks and lava.
One thing you would hate would be getting your portal back to your house destroyed by some ghast that comes out of nowhere, who spits out a fireball that explodes on impact like a glass bottle hitting a stone floor. Then pretty much your stuck there until you get like 8 or so obsidian to get the portal back, and obsidian is hard to find in the nether, because there is none.
I really don't like it here, because you would normally get blown up or sometimes even withered away, and if you upset the zombie pigmen that roam about here the whole herd becomes your worst nightmare you ever had. Trust me, if your thinking about hitting a pigman, just simply walk away and don't touch them.
What I'm doing in the nether in the first place was to kill blazes to get blaze rods. Blazes are known to shoot fireballs as well, but they don't explode. Imagine an arrow that's on fire and it hits you, and then your on fire yourself, that's what a blaze can do. It can really hurt badly, especially if you have your flesh burned to a crisp by the time you look in your inventory or backpack for a water bucket to put yourself out.
Another thing I came here for was to find a legendary Nether Fortress, which holds chests that supposedly had chests full of gold and strong armor made of diamond. Find one of those chests and you'd make a fortune real quick, believe me, when I find zombie spawners or something like bringing creatures out of the blue that have chests full of string and music disks and all that weird junk, I'd make myself a mere penny, mostly anyway. But sometimes I get lucky and I find gold, and make myself like I don't know, a million bucks? But you don't sell anything you find to anyone, cause your mainly by yourself, you just go ahead and play the finders keepers game.
The whole point of me being in this world still leaves me curious each passing hour and day I breath the fresh air of the oak trees surrounding my house of gold. Because of the whole idea of being stranded in a hostile world is sorta frightening at times. But you can be alright if you know the basics of the world people call a game, or joke, Minecraft.
"Great, just great." I say aloud to nobody listening. "I can't believe that stinking flying white crybaby came here and blew my portal to smithereens."
I knew there was no way back now, unless I can find something worth while, very unlikely but I had no choice. I began walking towards a nearby lava fall to set up camp. Normally my camp would be a tent made out of wood and food cooking in a furnace I brought, but I had no furnace or tent. So now I had to sleep on bare wool in the wide open. In my opinion though, why do I call temporary wooden houses tents?
But that's when I noticed something, something a ugly dark red or brown, it was over a lava ocean that no one would survive. "Could it be?" I wondered.
I went to take a closer look, and at that moment my hands couldn't stop shaking, it was the legendary thing I was looking for, a nether fortress.
"Sweet Apples on a stick!" I cried. "Something to make my stay here something to remember!"
As I ran towards the entrance that had a purplish light gleaming from it, I saw, no, heard another thing that was far more familiar then the nether itself to me. A sound that brought back horrible and terrifying memories of the past, a laugh that could belong to only one person I knew existed far before me and anyone else, someone I knew could hold the power of Notch.
"Ha! We meet again Steve, have you enjoyed the nether so far today?" Said a figure at the entrance of the fortress who without a doubt, had the glowing white eyes of a evil being that I thought I defeated all those years ago.
"Enjoyed your banishment, Herobrine?" I asked to the vile villain that stood before me, diamond sword out and ready to strike.
"I don't know, there was a lot of nothingness in the world you sent me to, if it wasn't for that lucky bow shot you were able to pull off so successfully I wouldn't had to be a toy to a dragon!" Yelled Herobrine ferociously at my face, his anger could be seen miles away by the look on his face as he turned towards the purple light.
"You want to go home? Follow me." The white eyed man said to me, signalling to the entrance of the fortress that I had before now longed to explore. But honestly right now I know it would probably be something absolutely horrifying.
"I'm not going to play your game of follow the leader Herobrine, I know there's a trap in there." I snapped back. But Herobrine just shrugged and said with a very smug smile. "Why don't you see for yourself it's not a trap?"
For once I decided to look, because the purple light was far too interesting not to look at, and what stood before me was one of the most beautiful things I had wanted to see that day.
"You...built a nether portal back home?" I asked the almost look alike to me.
Herobrine, who said nothing, went towards the portal and said back. "Don't think of this as a gift, call it, a reward for defeating me." And in the portal he went, and then simply vanished.
At first I thought he was bluffing, why reward his victor? I know as well as he knew how much he hated being defeated. But nothing bad can happen, right?
"Okay Herobrine, you always have to convince me to play along don't you? I'll play along for now, as long as this leads to home." And with that, I stepped into the purple particles that floated within the portal to different dimensions. Waited for me to black out, and simply let my atoms flow into the world the portal brought me too.
Usually it's the place I call home, but this.....would start an adventure that would lead me to the most annoying thing ever...talking horses, and something trying to take over that world..again.
