Grays secret

Gray Skies prince and protector of Equestria had been preparing for this moment for several days.  today after waiting for a very very long time he would find out what his punishment would be and how long he would be forced to serve that punishment, in his heart Gray knew that he would be banished and he felt no reason to try and escape he knew his brothers would do what was needed to help the ponies of equestria...

"Prince Skies..." a voice called out

"huh... what is it sky shield?" Gray asked as he realized he had not noticed his former personal guard approach his cell door

"It, it's time my lord." sky shield said his voice downcast as if he had not wanted to tell the prince what he had.

"very well, i suppose if the court wants me to be present than i shall grant their wish." Gray said his voice calm and even like sky had remembered before he had gone away to the north...

(flashback to a few weeks ago)

A strong icy wind had been blowing for some time now as the prince stood upon a hill marked upon the map with a large black "X" even though the wind had made the prince uncomfortable he had a purpose for being here and he would see it through to the end even if it cost him everything he held dear to his heart, here he stood looking out over a large city of crystal that had been completely turned black by the foul use of dark magic.
