New Life, New Me

I was now looking through my new spell book of healing magic and just like last time with me casting the spell and...Nothing, I have made it a hobby to find all spell books that are in the world. All from good and evil to harmony and chaos, but like all the time I look all I got was me standing in my room with my hand out and the book in the other with my reading the spell.

“Look like it's another fail.” I said as I put my book back with all the others over the years, I have collected one of the biggest spell books raises in town hell I had a room devoted to only the books.

“Kaen Gold you get down here and help me with the food.” the voice of my big brother said as I wind down I saw him with an apron on that said kiss the chef so as the best little sister of all time so I kiss him on the cheek.

“Now what was that for?” My brother said as he smiled at me.

“Wall Roy one you have an apron that says kiss the chef so as the best sister like me I gave you that kiss.” I started with a fat grin on my face, as I saw him roll his eyes. After over parents had left me and bro to go around the world, I got to get more book of spell and magic with my bro being a big supporter it helps, and he loves to see me go all love crazy over a new book.

“You're so weird, but that is why I love you, sis, it makes life interesting.” Roy said as he put the last bit of food on the table as I put the plates down.

After I finish with dinner with Roy, we saw some fantasy movies and got ready for bed.

I was now in my room looking over my collection of the books as I was going over, them I found one book that I had not read hell it was not one that was in my collection, the cover was just as weird it was that book from mlp. It looks pretty old with the dust over it, so I went to grab it and dust it off. But the moment my hand grab it the room I was in vanes and the next thing I know I’m looking at the book in front of me. But is spring open and lightly started to shoot out of it now I was freaking out, and then the light shoot out of the book and head straight for me! The last thing I see was my room and my body falling to the ground.

As the light block out my vision, all I see was rainbow light and me floating in the air. Just as I was about to question it entail I see another being with me, she was a unicorn and was looking like she was in pain. I want to help her whatever it too but the next thing I know I was also in pain the light around us was now enveloping us, and after that, I see her being shot down and me shooting up as the pain increased it was to make, so I black out.

I was in pain and count not see, and my head hurt as I tried to open my eye as I heard someone saying something but it was head to head.

I tried again, and I opened them, but everything was blur I saw something big in front of me and was white, but that was all.

“Sunset...Sunset… oh please by ok my student.” Said the big white thing in front of me.

After a few more breaks I look up to see a giant Alicorn in front of me, she had a small on her face as she nuzzles me.

“W-what happened and where am I.” I ask as I look around me to find that I was in a library with books all around and a mirror in the corner.

“Oh Sunset thank me that you are ok you were looking into the mirror that I showed you. But all of a sudden a powerful light came from the mirror, and as I was blinded for a moment. Then you were thrown all the way across the room you just woke up just now my student.” said the alicorn but as I look at her my mind started to feel like I have seen her before and in the blink of an eye my eyes widen as I now know how this was... Princess Celestia.

But just then I remembered what she had called me Sunset as in Sunset shimmer the unicorn. I look at my hand but what I saw was a yellow hoof and that I rammer that unicorn that was with me before I came to she look just like Sunset doest that mean that Sunset has my life and I have her’s.

My thought was interrupted as Celestia held me in her magic and put me on her back.

“Let me get you to the medical wing to see if you're ok.” Celestia said as she took me to the side wing of the castle with me on her back it was too embarrassing.

After like 2 hours of the doctors looking over test after check the had to have the world with Celestia in private, but with my new hearing, I heard what they were saying.

“Princess we have gone over the test ten times. But if my analysis is correct it says that Sunset Shimmer magic power level has gone ten time what it originally was. If it is so then she would be the first Unicorn to have the power equal to well you!” the Doctor said as I heard Celestia plot hit the floor.

After that, I heard them move away from the door so with me by myself. I decided to try and see if the magic from one of my book back home would work, so I focus all my energy on my horn and forces with some work I heard a *pop* and looked up to see a tablet. I grabbed it in my magic and pulled it to me and look to see it was just like the one back home, I open it and found all of my note. Copies of all of my spell and magic books from the dark to the light magic to spells that can summon an army.

“Well looks like all that time with the chaos spell books help me after all...Tack that Kim I now all that time memorizing the spells in Chaos would help and I was right.” I said to myself as I put the tablet into my mane looks like Pinkie has some competition now. I thought with a smile on my face.

Just then someone came in I look to the door to see a young Cadance looking inside I look at her as she came closer to me.

“Hi, Sunset i-it g-good to see your wall.” Cadence said as she looked away from me.

“I’m good but are you ok you look straight or scared.” I ask as I look at her I could see a fear in her eye.

“What do you mean don’t act like you don't know what you did to me, the fear you put me through, went I came here to help you, and you not only threatened me but scared me to death!” she yells out as tear stated to falling her face.

As I look at her, I felt pain in my heart it seems that Sunset did more bad than good in her life, but now I will do all I can to fix it.

I lighted up my horn and grabbed her she look up and was freaking out, but it went away after I brought her to me and hugged her with a tear coming out of my eyes.

“I-I’m sorry I-I was scared I thought you would take the one thing that I wanted from me and I was scared, but that doesn't mean what I did was right so I’m so s-sorry.” I cry into her fur I was an emotional person so making individuals or ponies sad marks me crying.

For Cadence, she had a look of disbelief here was Sunset the one who put her in fear for her life and now she was crying, apologizing to her for all the thing she had done to her. Then she remembered what her aunt had told her about how her parents had died how after they had died she put herself away from ever pony. Now here she was crying. For the first time since coming to canterlot Cadence saw the pony in front of her, not as a big mean Unicorn mare but a scared mare holding onto the one thing that she was afraid to lose to somepony. Cadence had noted that she was always looking for a way to spend time with her Aunt, was that it was she scared that I would take my aunt from her.

As I look at Sunset, I felt like now we could start anew after she was done crying to look up at me with her big blue eyes.

“Sunset i-it ok I see now that you were scared of me and that you're sincerely sorry now, so I forgive you.” Cadence said as she gave Sunset a wing hug as the two were having a moment, they did not see the large Alicorn that was at the door with tears in her eyes as she was looking at the two.

But as she white, she remembered what the Doctor had said to her how Sunset magic was now next to her if not more powerful she only had one though what did that mirror do to her?

(Two days later)

After I got out and spent time with Cadence, I have learned something that was not on the show. Like how she was raised in a village with only earth ponies, so she had none to help her with her new horn. But with the books at the library, she was able to get her wing in working order so with that I offered to help her with her magic. At first, she was hesitant, but when I use a spell to help heal a filly that had hurt herself, with that little push Cadence was all in.

As for Celestia, she was...I don’t know if it like this all the time, I saw she was having problems alway. First, it was with the noble if you can call them that next, it was all the paperwork, now she has to deal with Blueblood it was too much, so I had a plan for the next day.

As the morning sun rose I put my plan into work first, I put a large barrier around the castle that had one thing to keep out everypony, except only thought that really need help with their problem. Next spell I did, I sent a message to all the ponies that work in the castle that had nothing to do, today to state looking over the paperwork that the Princess had and only to give her ones that were of the utmost importance. Finally, I got me and Cadence to go to the kitchen to help me make something special for the Princess.

(Celestia's pov)

Today was a good day I had no snot noble asking me for thing that was not important. I had most of the paperwork done in half the time it tracks, and now I’m waiting for Sunset and Cadence in the dining hall, but the had not come I was beginning to wear when the door to the kitchen opened. I look and what I found was not what I expected Sunset and Cadence are coming from the kitchen covered in flour and batter. Sunset had flour in her mane and tail, and Cadence had batter all over her face and mane but what had my attract was the large plate in Sunset’s magic with Cadence pushing the cart.

“What are you two doing and what do you have there.” I ask as they made it to the table with one last push the plate was on the table.

“Wall for the last few days I had seen you having problems. So I with some of the ponies in the castle and Cadence made it so you can have your day. So I had put a magic barrier around the castle that would block out anyhow came only to come to ask you for selfies thing like Blueblood. I think I saw him hitting the barrier to get in but to no avail. Next, I use a new spell that sent a message to all the ponies in the castle that had nothing to do and had them look over the paperwork that you do and only gave you the work the was of the utmost importance and last Cadence and I made you this.” Sunset said as she uses her magic on the top to reveal a homemade breakfast with hay bacon scrambled eggs a salad on the side and a homemade chocolate lava cake.

I look at the food but what was the best thing I had today was my student no Sunset would go so far to give me a day for me I look at the food, and then I looked at Sunset and Cadence, and my vision started to get blurry.

“Aunty are you ok you're crying?”Cadence said as she and Sunset move closer to me I look to them and with my wings, I pulled both ponies into a hug as I was nuzzling both of them.

“Thank you. It is, no this is the most thoughtful gift that any pony has given me.” I said as I hug them titer.

“Good your mask was making me want to through a book at you.” Sunset said with a grin on her face.

“How did you now Sunset even I have a hard time seeing it on Aunty so how did you.”Cadence said as she looks at Sunset.

“Wan she thinks none are looking she let her wing down a small bit, and her eyes don't have that sparkle They have won she is pleased that is how.” Sunset said as she looks up at me with a smile on her face.

Clover mare so she has seen me at my worst of times, but then my thought was through a loup, and she asks next.

“Princess I-I have something that I would like you to do.” Sunset said as she pulled away for me to look at me better.

“Yes, what is it my little pony.” I ask as this is one time see her ask so nicely.

“I-I would like you to get another student.” Sunset said as she looks away from me.

Me and Cadence's eyes grow wide at the request that was one thing I was not expecting at all.

“Sunset why do you want me to get another student you are one of my best.” I said as I look at Sunset.

“Yes but that is it I’m one of your best but I’m also alone nopony to study with no pony to help me, and I want somepony to by with wan you don’t have time for a lesson.” Sunset said as I look away as Cadence move over to her and hug her. As I look at her, I thought of the time I had with her and as I thought. I saw that as time went on, I was with her less and less install it was as she would only come when she had done something grand. All the time with her and now I saw that I had neglected her it is known wonder she was mean to other ponies she was scared I would leave her, and one thing came to my mind. What have I done it was like Lune all over again, but this time I almost don’t see It?

“Sunset...with what you have said I see now that I was wrong not to see that I was neglecting you I know what I have done to you I-I think I will look for another student you have helped me to understand that being alone is not alway the best way to teach some ponies.” I said as I look at Sunset she lost her family and I was not there for her I will do everything my power can do to make it right.
