I'll Tell You What Revenge Is
Chapter Seven: Opposite Colors Mix
Previous ChapterNext ChapterThe bell rung loudly in the whole school, whirring it to life with tons, tons of students, coming out of doors, rushing out the of the large building as soon as possible. Along were Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Pinkie.
"Huh, haven't heard from the two lovebirds for a while. Pinkie, what happened in between the two?" questioned Rainbow.
"Weeeeeeeell, it wasn't that easy, but in the end, those two work better than pie and cake!" Pinkie exclaimed, to the annoyance of the two other girls.
"But pie and cake don't go together, and besides, you haven't answered the question."
Pinkie started to nervously sweat, and she chuckled worriedly, then, to God answered her prayers with a distraction, Rarity and Sunset came towards their way.
"Why hello darlings, how are all of you today?"
"Meh, it could be better." answered Rainbow in an unemotional way. The other girls stared at her, then laid her hands on Rainbow's shoulder, and Rainbow sighed. It almost seemed as if she had no color on her, even of her crazy hair colors.
"Darling, I know someone's sad when I see them. What's wrong?"
"I try and try to catch Soarin's attention, but he seems too busy, as if he's avoiding me. I just dunno what to do! That's why I was asking Pinkie what happened to Sunset and Midnight, see if anything they talked about or did wrong what was separated the two. Maybe I accidently offended him, ah, I...." She hung her head down. She had an enormous crush on Soarin, and she thought he didn't think of her that way. The girls looked at Sunset, then she blushed slightly and walked closest to Rainbow. The school was almost empty by now, pardon some nerdy students walking around. Sunset looked up to Rainbow and got a rearranging smile on her face, to let her know she would be lucky, everyone liked Rainbow, so why not Soarin?
"Thanks for the talk, Sunset, and wow, that's the reason you got mad at Mid?"
"Yeah, I regreted it when I said I did, and, well, he didn't even get mad at me, just at himself."
Five minutes had passed, and it was just Fluttershy and Pinkie, and Rainbow and Sunset. They were going to head home until Sunset's phone rang, and Sunset's eyes shrinked to pinpricks. She tapped on the green button on the screen.
"Hello?" She nervously answered.
"Sunny...where.....are....you.....the picnic's....ready....man...am...I....tired...whew...."
"Midnight what happened I'm sorry!!"
"I couldn't fiddle with the teacher, and at first bell I teleported and ran like crazy, and.....got you the strawberry cheesecake you wanted. It was the last one, and I even got into a stupid argument with a fat guy who wanted the damn cake."
"Oh Mid really? Where did you pack up?"
"Central liberty park. It's right next to the school, and it has a grand big lake. It has an enormous bridge, I can't fit it how we didn't see this place before."
"I love you so much, thank you!!!"
Sunset jumped up and down, and ran to her car Midnight had given her. Life for her was perfect. And wow, Midnight didn't even get mad she was out for five minutes.
"Heh, I guess someone's happy." sighed Midnight as he neatly arranged the plates and the food.
"Okay, let's see: deli freshly made sandwiches with extra bacon, check, ugghh, who knew I was going to eat bacon, netherless, meat? Anyways, fruit salad? Check. The tropical punch? Check. Apples picked from the farm fresh without Applejack's permission? Check as well. Meh, Applejack will never find out I took some of her apples."
At The Farm...
"Who in the hay took a whole TREE down to get some apples? Grr, MIDNIGHT!!!"
Back to Midnight...
"And lastly, the cheesecake!! Sunset's one favorite!!!" Midnight exclaimed in delight. "As they say, happy wife, happy life."
"Midnight!" yelled an oh-so familiar sweet voice. Sunset marveled at the clearness of the water. Midnight ran up to her and they embraced like no tommorow. Thier lips met, and a couple of people cheered nearby, and he slipped his tongue in her mouth, and thier tongues danced in an erotic way.
He breaks the kiss and leads her to the picnic. They sit down, then they stared at each other for a while, then a loud noise breaks the calm and peaceful afternoon.
"Hurry up Boo Boo, theres no time to waste, quickly grab the food, and start the van!"
Midnight and Sunset stared in awe as what seemed to be a talking brown bear with a green tie and hat as well. They froze as another bear, a smaller one with a blue ribbon, got the picnic food and drove it into the van they were driving, and sped off. Midnight's hands glowed faintly and the van was picked up by his blue aurora, the doors of the car opening, and the food going back to the carpet on the floor. He then pushed the van slightly forward, and in a sec the magical hungry talking bears were gone.
"Well, that was weird." interrupted Midnight.
"But at least we have the food, and I have you. What would I do without you Midnight?"
"Sunset, why did you ask for forgiveness? I was the one to piss you off, I should have been apologizing yesterday."
"Look, this stayed in the past, and I-"
"Ok, I really don't like interrupting you, but the truth is I should be the one apologize, and honestly I'll never take it out of my head, I hate to see you angry or sad, it breaks my heart to smithereens. Honestly it does, and I love you with all my heart, and if anything ever happened to you, I would be the one to blame for not protecting you."
Sunset forcefully tried to make a smile, and did her best in fighting tears, but Midnight hugged her and she let it all loose, sobbing in his arms, it was a harsh time. They talked and talked about life, and finishing school, even returning home, with valued permission from Midnight's new mother in law. They ate the food, and the cheesecake, and they continued to talk even though all the food was gone and people were starting to go home. At one point Midnight asked about last night, and what would happen to Sunset, but she said it be a surprise. The sun set down on the park, and the two couldn't be happier. Or so they thought.
