"COME ONE COME ALL TO THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE'S NEW SHOW!" A blue mare with a white mane and tail shouted in the town square catching Bloom's attention.

"Trixie?" She asked turning to where the showmare advertised. Trixie had a whole new outfit. A white cape with blue stars and top hat to match. But something about it struck a cord with Chroma.

"You know her?" He asked,

"She came to town months ago she's a traveling Showmare. Bigger ego then that Ash. Sis isn't a fan cause she lies a lot. Plus she almost got the town destroyed by an Ursa Minor."

"THAT WAS NOT TRIXIE'S FAULT!" The magician shouted hearing Bloom. "How was Trixie suppose to know those two idiots would find a real Ursa minor and lead it to town!" Trixie grumbled. "BUT REGARDLESS! TRIXIE HAS RETURNED TO THIS DEARY LITTLE TOWN WITH AN EVEN BETTER SHOW!" She returned to character. She scanned the area for one mare in particular. "Where is Twilight Sparkle?" She asked mostly to herself.

"Why?" Bloom asked giving the great and powerful Trixie a start. Trixie nearly lost her new hat till she fixed it and grumbled. "Is it so you can challenge her to a magic duel?" Bloom asked. Trixie shook her head no.

"NO, if I can impress her all others will flock to Trixie's show. I'm using this dinky little town as a testbed." Bloom rolled her eyes.

"I don't know where Twi is but hope the show goes well." Bloom waved her off. At first, Trixie snorted and looked away when her eyes went full locking on Bloom and Chroma.

"WAIT!" She shouted, and Bloom stopped. Trixie ran up catching her ill-fitting hat before it fell. "Trixie is feeling generous so have two free tickets to the show." She practically shoved the tickets at them. "The show is in one hour, center of town. Trixie will see both of you there!" The showmare demanded and trotted off leaving Bloom confused.

"That was weird." Bloom held the Tickets in Chroma's claws and scratched her head with the other.

"Wait she said both of us...." Chroma realized. Bloom looked at the tickets with a small feeling of dread. "Looks like we have a show to see." Chroma stated dramatically looking in the direction of Trixie.

Bloom kicked a leg "It's not for an hour. Wanna get a milkshake?"

"Ya, that sounds good." He relaxed, and they trotted to Sugarcube.

The cube was pretty busy this time of day on an average day, But today, when they walked in the place, was empty and an odd sense of doom hung in the air. Mr. Cake saw them come in and rushed to meet her.

"Hi... Mr. Cake whats going on. You look a little stressed?" She asked, and Mr. Cake did look stressed his hair was messy and his eyes were flicking back to a corner booth. Bloom looked behind him to see what was causing the stress. It was a Warframe one Bloom had never seen in town before. He was tall and skeletal wrapped in brown bandages with the head of a dog as he sucked down a milkshake. His tenth one judging by all the empty glasses. Mr. Cake put a hoof around her and whispered frantically.

"He's been here all afternoon, He's scared away every other customer!"

Bloom grimaced. "Has he been rude?"

Mr. Cake paused "No, just menacing and Creepy and I could swear I've seen bugs crawling around him."

"Well, he is an Inaros." Chroma stated, and Bloom cocked an eyebrow.

"We'll talk to him for you Mr. Cake." The Yellow stallion sighed with relief.

Bloom trotted over putting on a friendly smile. "Hi, mister." She greeted cheerfully, and the Sand Frame looked at her

"You're the pony Hybrid everyone is looking for." He spoke with an accent Bloom couldn't place

"Ya, I'm Chroma and Bloom who are you?" She kept the conversation going.

"I am Inaros, the guardian, the hungry." Bloom looked at the empty glasses and sweet foils.

"I can see that." Bloom chuckled

"No Bloom you don't understand, Inaros drains and eats every enemy in their path literally. He sucks the life out of them." Chroma warned, and Bloom gulped. Inaros chuckled putting Bloom on edge.

"My presence scares the yellow one doesn't it?" He asked, and Mr. Cake ducked behind the counter. Bloom rubbed the back of her head.

"Not gonna lie mister, from what I just heard you're pretty terrifying." Bloom blurted then a gold beetle crawled out of his arm from under the bandage and grabbed a crumb that had fallen only to skitter back into the Frame. Bloom watched it silently freaking out. She nearly jumped out of Chroma's pelt when a glasses fell over. She saw another golden beetle sitting in the glass cleaning up whatever was left.

Then Bloom put the pieces in her head "Wait are you like a Mummy Frame."

"A what?" He asked

"Ya like an Egyptian mummy. Like that one movie, Applejack told me I couldn't watch but did anyway then had nightmares for a week. They dug up a mummy and suffered his curse. He drained his victims dry to rebuild himself." Bloom rambled a little-scared remembering how much that movie had freaked her out. Inaros watched the filly as she pretty much told him the entire plot of the film. As she was talking she hopped into the seat across from him and he motioned for two more Milkshakes.

By the time she finished, Mr. Cake had brought the shakes, and Inaros nodded and pulled out two brown bags. Mr. Cake raised an eyebrow. "One is payment the other comes with a tale," Inaros said mysteriously.

Mr.Cake felt both bags they both weighed the same, but one jingled. Opening it to find it was filled with gold jewelry and other beautiful things well over what the Frame owed. The other filled with sand.

"Sand?" He asked, and Inaros nodded.

"Sand for protection and prosperity. A ritual that runs deep with the lore of Inaros." He explained. Both ponies looked at him curiously, and he motioned for Mr. Cake to sit. "Come to sit and hear the tale of Inaros."

"Many years ago the civilization of Mars was terrorized by golden skymen who came and stole their children away. After many years a Savoir came. One of the Skymen's own warriors could not stand the abductions anymore and protected them. This warrior was Inaros who ascended as their king to watch over the people of mars. When a great infestation hit the people prayed again and again for Inaros to save them. Summoning a great sandstorm, he defeated the Infection but at significant cost to himself. So the people of Mars took the battered pieces of Inaros and hid them away in tombs so he would rest till he was needed again. Placing sand in your home or under your pillow to grant Inaros's protection became a practice." He finished, and Bloom and Mr. Cake looked astonished.

"Is that all true?" Bloom asked, and he nodded.

"So you're a king?" Mr. Cake asked

"No I am not the original Inaros, But I wear his Warframe because I want to protect like he once did." He stated and finished his milkshake happily and stood up. "Thank you for the refreshments, I apologize for running off your business. I hope that is enough to cover what you may have lost." He bowed his head and left leaving Mr. Cake and Bloom thinking about the story.

Chroma watched him go. First the Showmare, Now another Tenno outside of the squad showing up. Something was going on, and he didn't like the implications. The dragon pelt looked at the clock.
"Bloom our show starts soon."

"Oh right!" Bloom downed the rest of her milkshake and hopped off the stool to stumble and rub her head at the brain freeze she'd given herself. Shaking it off she waved to Mr. Cake and ran off. The yellow stallion smiled and looked at the two bags again. He looked around then placed the bag of sand under the counter thinking of Inaros.
