"Oh, I'm wonderful. I have so many new friends to throw a welcome party for!" She threw the notepad aside and clapped her hooves together happily. When Frost put his arms out in a wait a minute fashion.

"Are we not gonna talk about what just happened?"
All the ponies bar Pinkie gave him a sympathetic look.

"Ya sorry that's just Pinkie for ya." Bloom let out sounding resigned about the anomaly that was Pinkie.

"what do you mean that's just "Pinkie." He made air quotes with his hands then looked to Pinkie only see empty space and a note.

"I better go and get ready gonna need plenty of supplies. See all of you there!"
The cycloptic light that seemed like Frost's eye started to glow intensely, and he began to shake a bit. Bloom reached a hoof out to gently touch his leg getting his attention.

"you're freezing the grass again..."
The cold frame looked down and seemed to take a cleansing breath.

"It's healthier if you don't think about it too hard," Scootaloo said, and the rest of the group including Chroma nodded.

Frost held out his hands and seemed to stare into the void for a second reevaluating his life. Once that bit of meditation was over he stood and put a hand on his helm.

"Frost to all others I've found Chroma."
he turned to Bloom

"Is there anywhere that stands out we can all meet?"
Bloom didn't waste time telling him about the farm, and they all started that way.

Excalibur stood on a hill overseeing the town taking it all in. So many words came to mind yet the only one he could say was peaceful. So much so it made him laugh, it looked so primitive so defenseless. He could make out the tiny animals that inhabited this world. "Ponies," he said the word out loud just to hear it spoken again.

Something appeared next to him. It hadn't just snuck up on him at. First, it wasn't there now it was. It didn't feel like another frame nothing showed up on his H.U.D., but the thing didn't feel threatening. The creature walked into his sight it was pink, intensely so.

"Hello, Mister Frame."
Excalibur was taken back by how calmly the pony addressed him. Realizing he needed to respond, he waved slowly.

"you like the view?" he looked back over the town and could feel the sight bring a little happiness. He looked back to the pink pony and nodded.

"what's your name, Mines Pinkamenia Diane Pie, but you can call me Pinkie!"

"Excalibur"

"Neat I'm gonna call you "Cal."
The Frame was taken back by the nickname. But more so for how it felt in his mind, how perfect it engrained into it, yes he was Cal now like a wave of nostalgia that hit him. He shook his head to focus he had to find Chroma and as much as the Frame wanted to be distracted he couldn't. The white and gray frame knelt and help out his hand to show her Chroma only for a hoof to be placed in the palm of his hand. She then moved it in a handshake manner.

"It's nice to meet you too Cal, you're looking for Chroma right?"
Cal could do nothing but nod if he had a visible jaw it was dropped.

"Come on Fancy space ninja your new mission is to help me make a party for you and your friends."

Cal held a friendly hand to decline only for his Objective to change to "Throw a party" and a green waypoint to be placed somewhere in the small town. He looked at the walking pony and couldn't do anything but shrug as he followed her into town.

Chroma bloom lead the way back to the farmhouse while Frost walked close behind with sweetie belle on his head and Scootaloo on his shoulders he seemed quite pleased with the whole situation and answered most of the question the fillies had for him, Rarity was studying his coat from any angel see could sneak. Frost chuckled and held his arms out to either side catching rarity off guard.

“What I thought you like to get a better view of the sides. Frost chuckled again at Rarity’s blush of being caught.

“I’d love to Fabricate one for myself it looks exceptionally, warm and stylish to boot.” Her voice had recovered her smooth accent.

“I don’t think you can build my frame with materials found on this planet you’d need all the blueprints, not to mention all the materials.” He shrugged his shoulders causing Scootaloo to rise slightly, and Rarity looked at him confused.

“What no! I’m going to use fabric and dyes not whatever you just listed… are you saying I could manufacture you if I had the right things, Mister Frost?” She looked at him concerned.

“Maybe not me But you could make the Frost frame I wear, ok maybe not a prime anymore but the Frost part you could if you were a tenno.” Rarity went quiet and lost herself in thought.

Bloom piped up instead “So if I had the right things I could be a Frost?” Frost stopped at the question and put a hand to his chin.

“I don’t actually know how far your hybrid goes… its possible but you may have to create a new blueprint based on your body type, or it might mold you into the default shape…. I don’t really now.” He shrugged again.

“You wish to replace me already?” Chroma joked, but bloom instantly backpedaled

“No id never replace Kin!”

“Bloom it is alright frames are situational and are meant to be switched if the situation arrives. If you can switch frames, I don’t think it will harm our connection, and I encourage you to expand your knowledge.” He had that fatherly tone again, and something nagged at her mind, but she brushed it off.

“Ya lets hold off on any switching I still haven’t gotten used to this yet let alone adding other Frames.” Chroma laughed/chortled again. They all say the farmhouse and everything looked peaceful till they got within earshot of the arguing.

“What do you mean you lost, I put plat on you.”

“That’s probably why I lost you jinxed me by betting….”

“Ha, you going use that as an excuse I whipped you twice..” Rainbows brash voice boasted

“She’s not lying ya’ll” Applejacks confirmed.

The group finally got close enough to see Volt on the floor looking defeated, and Vauban with his hands in the air in defeat, Dash doing victory loops in the air and Applejack holding her hoof out for the bits she just won.
Frost let out a strangled sound and held his hands out palms up in a confused manner.

“What in the name of the void happened...”

Rainbow came down and got really close. “well your boy volt over there on the floor came down and was all like he is speed and no one was faster than him so we raced and I won. Then I made it a hoof race, and I still left him the dust. And whatever happened to the other guy and I think he owes AJ some money now or something.” She rolled her hoof to make her point of not knowing/caring.

“Really Dash that’s so cool!!” Scootaloo squealed behind Frost's shoulders causing the frame to jerk his head at the sudden high pitch. Which dislodged Sweetie on his helmet who he caught in his arm.
Dash hovered closer to Frost’s shoulder and smiled when she saw her biggest fan again.

“Oh hey, squirt did Ordis apologize and junk?” Scootaloo nodded

“Ya, he made things better, and we meet Mister frost here he's a Cool Guy…” Even frost groaned at that one.

“So I’m guessing you're some kind of Ice Frame?” she asked with a sharp air of indifference and Frost nodded and he bent down letting the fillies climb down.

“And I'm guessing your some sort of…” he put his hand to his chin as if trying to think. “Sky horse?” he asked with the same indifference she asked him with.

“Hey I’m not just a sky “pony”…. I’m the sky pony!” Dash puffed out her chest with every ounce of pride she could. “and I can beat you in any race!”

Frost held out his hands “I don’t doubt you I’m an iceberg were not known for our speed or our bragging.” He held out a hand and dash took a breath and put her hoof in it.

“Sorry about the bragging I can be full of myself sometimes.” Everypony there scoffed at the sometimes bit and Dash glared at them for a split second before continuing. “Anyways welcome to Equestria.” They shook on it

Vauban shook his head again and had to do a double-take when he saw Chroma's pelt.

"By the void is that you? Chroma?" he knelt in front of Bloom but didn't seem to notice the pony under the pelt. His hand reached out but hesitated, before finally resting on the pelt's head. He seemed mournful. "Is this all that's left of you?"
Bloom popped her head up to look at the trapper, he pulled his hand back
"I'm sorry you must be Applejacks sister."
Bloom nodded and held out a hoof.

"I'm Applebloom, Whats, your name mister?" She asked cheerfully. He reached out and shook the hoof.

"Vauban's the Frame Trapping is my game." He said with a hint of pride.

"Cool! Mines Breathing fire!" she huffed a tiny flame to demonstrate. He chuckled still bewildered at the whole situation.

"I heard about it but to see a Frame in such a way it's different to comprehend," he said, and Bloom couldn't help but feel he wasn't looking at her as a whole but just the pelt on her back. Chroma rumbled and appeared on his H.U.D

"I'm still here, Walrus!" The trapper yelped and nearly fell on his butt. Volt looked at her when the comms opened for Chroma.

"Oh shit its Chroma. Yo Dude! what happened?" he jumped up to look her over "And why are you so small?"

"Ah think that's mah fault." she held up her hoof and Volt nodded as if he understood anything about the current situation.

"So your Chroma squad?" she asked looking over the three frames in front of her.
Frost put a hand to his chin.

"Not quite, We're still missing two that landed her Nyx, and Excalibur. Any of you seen them?" The other Frames shook their heads

"Let's just hope they're not causing trouble" he put a hand out, and pulled up his comms "Nyx you there?" After a moment the Green and grey frame appeared on his hud.

“Ya got sidetracked…” She sounded and looked slightly sheepish when she said it. Then started moving energetically.

"So we landed, and I was scanning the area for any frame signals when this Yellow pony flung herself onto my linset, and she was whispering to it, and I guess Ordis heard it and he went out to her then back in did something to the ship and returned to the pony. This was when I went outside and got a better look at it and…. And it Was ADORABLE! With its wings and giant eyes I was overwhelmed, and I squealed… just a bit and the pony dropped off my spaceship, and I was like OMG its dead and Ordis said that may be loud noises were fatal and I almost cried till I noticed it was still breathing and I felt better but then this huge bear was like RAWR!! And I used my mind powers that’s when I learned that the pony was the caretaker of all those animals and they were worried about her and stuff and I had to tell them quickly that I didn’t mean to and I was peaceful and all that stuff.”

“And that’s why you're not here?” Frost asked, and Nyx Rubbed the back of her head lightly…

“Well, I'm not done explaining… So after that, I carried the pony who is called Fluttershy, by the way, Like come on even the name is adorable.” Frost cleared his throat for her to get back on topic.

“Oh, ya anyways so I let the animals lead me back to her home, and it's this cozy little cabin at the edge of the forest. This is like my new favorite planet you think the lotus would let me take a vacation here it's just so… so CUTE!” she waved her arms in front of her overcome with the thought of getting to stay on this planet. Frost sent her a blank-faced emoji to once again encourage her to get on topic.

“Well once inside the pony woke up and I got to introduce myself and the animals spoke kindly of me so apparently that got me major sym points because she opened right up. And she insisted that she serve me tea… so Heh heh that’s why I'm late..” She sent an emoji with a huge smile and Frost began to rub the bridge of his helmet.

“Well, this world is full of surprises… You know where..” Frost looked at the sign in front of the farmhouse and read it out “Sweet apple acres is?”

“No I didn’t make it that far mind setting a waypoint?” she asked and Frost marked it.

“See ya soon.” Frost then cut the call and looked to everyone. “hey has anyone seen Excalibur?” Volt looked at Vauban who Shrugged, and Frost facepalmed and put his hand back out.

“Excalibur comes in I know you're alive…. Come in… We have the target, and we have a new mission where are you.” At first, silence met his calls until the sword frame blinked onto the screen. The camera was moving and unsteady, and he had white powder and several sticky lumps of…. Something… all over his arms. “what in the name of the void happened to you…” Excalibur sighed letting his shoulders drop but right before he could speak two pink hooves appeared and took the screen and turned it onto herself.

“Oh hey, Mister Frost! I needed help getting the party together, and I needed someone who knew the culture and stuff, so I grabbed Cal here, and now the party is right on track!” Her words sent a chill down frost spine…. Out of habit, Frost sent a concerned emoji and instantly regretted it when Pinkie lit up. “Omg you use those two, well I guess it makes sense seeing how it's probably hard to emote with those suits.” She sent 4 winky faces Frost's brain was close to overheating only a tenno had access to the typing how had she done… “Well gotta go Parties to plan and food to bake, see you all soon.” The video feed ended, and Frost was seriously wondering what weapons he’d need to mount a rescue mission against one with no regards to the laws of tenno… and physics.

“Mister Frost are you alright darling you seem tense,” Rarity asked, and he almost didn’t answer her.

“This Pinkie she’s a friend right?” Rarity raised an eyebrow and nodded slowly. The question got Dash and AJ’s attention as well. Frost might as well have been made of ice “Is she dangerous….” He asked, and it sounded strained. This got Vauban and Volt to stand up suddenly. The fillies backed up, and Volt began to generate arcs of electricity again.

“What no She’s odd and energetic but she’d never hurt anyone or anything…” Rarity pleaded

“Ya she’s the nicest pony you’ll ever meet well maybe besides Shy…” Dash asked, and Aj gave Frost a hard look.

“Why whats going on partner…” there was an edge to her voice and Frost meet her Green eyes with his golden optic.

“She has Excalibur, and I just watched her break about everything I thought possible in the two short instances I’ve interacted with her….”
Bloom held up a hoof and got an amused face.

“Ya, that's just Pinkie for you trust me Chroma’s adjusting to her to Don’t worry if anything she’ll have the perfect party all ready for us all by the time we get there.” She waved the hoof nonchalantly, and Frost relaxed a bit. But Volt looked confused.

“what all did you see her do?” Volt asked he sounded concerned. Frost explained what had happened with Excaliburs screen and the emoji’s and the other frames were just as worried as Frost now. Despite Everypony else’s Assurant that breaking physics was only a "Pinkie thing" and was better left unanswered.

“So what’s the plan squad lead…” Volt asked. Frost sighed

"Well..."
