Chapter One - The Decoration and History
March 22nd, 2374
Vanhoover, North Equestria
One day, everything in my life changed. That day, was the day that The Kingdom of Equestria and The Northern Commonwealth of Equestria (where I live) declared war on The Crystal Empire. Now, this wasn't the one that Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Armor ruled; no, this was the Empire that King Sombra ruled after he was awoken from his banishment.
But, that was about thirty years ago, and why does it have to do with my twenty-three year old self? Well The Crystal Empire found a way to cancel Equestria's legal reasons to call war and invade, although recently things have been getting rough in the Commonwealth. First, a Trade Embargo. Second, a Navel Embargo. Third, a Food Embargo, all from The Crystal Empire! If the Commonwealth Provences weren't bordering mainland Equestria, we would have been starved to death weeks ago. But now, another Casus belli had been set up.
Equestria has found it's call to war, and the Commonwealth was the first to become Militarily active.
This is the story of my life. But more importantly, the story of The Equine-Sombric War and it's soldiers.
