White fang
Petting and Trust
Load Full StoryWhite Fang woke up. Feeling very parched and confused.
He looked around and saw what appeared to be a hut of some sort. Musky. Close to nature. And reminded him of his days as a pup.
Raising himself from the clothed table he was on and he searched for a source of water.
White Fang saw what his master and many of his kind use. A sink. Although it was much smaller.
White Fang easily stood above the counter and stretched his mind on how his master and other gods had summoned water from this contraption.
After a few nasty bites to the faucet White Fang found success when a stream of water flowed when he twisted the arm of the thing.
Lapping water with relief he heard the sound of a wooden board strain under very slight pressure.
Turning around immediately to combat the unknown creature, White Fang solidly connected his head to the ceiling above.
His head begins to throb but stays aloof. A growl surges from his throat and threatens a yellow horse that stands in front of him.
“eeeeeeep”
The small outcry slightly raises White Fangs growl to a much louder rumble.
The two look at each other intently and attempt to size up what is happening.
White Fang sees that this horse is a female. Has an unnatural yellow coat, as well an unnatural pink mane as well.
As neither character moves for quite a while the growl slowly ebbs away. The horse then slowly lowers itself down in a small, somewhat, submissive/scared position.
“please don’t hurt me”
Small amounts of astonishment shows on White Fangs face as he hears the words of his brethren come out of this small herbivore.
White Fang lowers his fears slightly due to this weird creatures speech of wolvern words. He is still tense.
White Fang's head, though still throbs, increases in pain that arises from the disappearing adrenaline.
The yellow horse seems to notice this and slowly rises out of fear and towards White Fang.
At this White Fang’s suppressed growl emerges from his throat and his mane bristles and tense for what this creature may do.
Though almost unfazed, the yellow horse continues slowly and carefully. Occasionally speaking gently to him.
“Its ok.”
“Easy now.”
“It's allright.”
“I’m not going to hurt you.”
After what seems like an eternity of coaxing compressed into a matter of minutes. The once cowering yellow horse stands mere inches away from White Fang in determination.
As the horse continues to approach White Fang his mane slowly, and strangely calms down, although the growl in his throat is still audible.
“It’s ok now. You bumped your head on the ceiling when you jumped. I just want to make sure you are ok.”
The yellow horse then proceeds to raise a hoof toward White Fang's head.
White Fang’s instincts command him to shove this herbivore down and sink his fangs into the yellow horses throat, and satisfy his now noticeable hunger.
Though this creature emits a feeling of trust that combats his instinct. As the two forces clash the hoof comes nearer.
Until it reaches his upstanding hairs. White Fang holds steady and this new animal feels and prods his head. Feeling around causing feelings of slight pleasure and sharp pain as the hoof grazes over the bruised head.
“Looks like a slight bruise on your head. Don’t worry now I’ll take care of that”
The yellow horse continues to rub White Fang's head before moving away to find an icepack for his head.
What White Fang had felt was near comparison when Master Scott had first found and talked to him. The pats and caressing reviving old but loved memory.
The yellow horse came back towards him and carrying a pack of some sorts.
White Fang now had good trust in this animal and waited for more rubbing and trust.
