//-------------------------------------------------------// Unique foals. -by Sugarcube66- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The spell //-------------------------------------------------------// The spell It was a peaceful day in Ponyville for the ponies, everybody was outside and playing. Foals flocked through the streets in droves as their parents followed behind, chatting among themselves. Two mares were sat outside a local town restaurant and were having a peaceful date and meal. These mares were Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy, a happy couple who lived in the neighborhood castle. As they ate, they watched the playing foals and eventually laid eyes on one of their friends. Twilight smiled, as she saw her sugar-loving pink coated friend talking with her husband and young daughter. Pinkie Pie had gotten married to Cheese Sandwich about 6 years ago, when she was 19 and only a year later, she gave birth to their first child, Confetti, a energetic filly who had her father's orange-brown coat, her mother's pink mane and beautiful blue eyes. And now, 5 years later, she was pregnant once more, at 2 months term. Confetti seem to be playing around, dancing around with a slightly older filly, who Fluttershy recognized as Tootsie Flute, the youngest in the Hooves Family. Toostie was about 10 years old, having been born when her mother, Amethyst 'Sparkler' Star, was only 15. The mentioned Hooves Family was one of the biggest in Ponyville, and possible Equestria, beaten, however, by the Apple Family. It's members originated from Derpy Hooves and Doctor Whooves. Tootsie Flute was the youngest of the of 7, soon to be 8 as Amethyst's little sister, Dinky, was a month pregnant with the foal of Pipsqueak. Pinkie eventually spotted them and trotted over happily, her side-tail bouncing in the wind. Confetti, meanwhile, had just ended her grouping with Tootsie because the latter needed to get home. She and her father walked up to Twilight and Fluttershy, with bouncy smiles. Pinkie was, of course, the first to speak. ''On a datey, Twi, 'Shy?'' ''Yes, we are, Pinkie...'' whispered Fluttershy's, with embarrassment. The faint blush on her cheeks made her look adorable, at least to her wife Twilight. They had gotten together shortly after Pinkie and Cheee had gotten married and had Confetti. They simple continued dating for 5 years and had only married about 6 months ago.  Even though they hadn't been together as long as Cheese and Pinkie, it didn't matter as they simply adored each other. Also, to note, these couples weren't the only ones to develop in the Mane Six, Rainbow Dash and Applejack had gotten together about a year after Twilight, and their marriage was set to happen in about 3 months. And their was Spike and Rarity, who had gotten together after the formerly baby dragon had finally gathered up his courage to ask her to date him, that was about 7 years ago. They had gotten married about 2 years ago and we're trying to a foal/dragon/hybrid but with not that much success. Twilight had told them that Dragon half-breeds existed in Equestria but they were rare. They were becoming annoyed with the low success and would have given up, if it wasn't that they wanted something to love as much as it each other. Twilight then spoke, with a smile. ''Yeah, we definitely are. What are you guys doing?'' Pinkie bounced as she replied. ''We are heading down to the foal and filly festival, Confetti here's is more excited about the festival then when I told her that she was gonna be a big sister. But she and Cheesy keep arguing over if it's gonna be a girl or boy. Cheesy wants a boy and Confetti wants a girl. I had already told that the gender, it's gonna be a girl, when they started arguing, about 2 weeks ago, but they are apparently now doubting my pinkie sense.'' The pink pony's pinkie sense had developed in the nearly 11 years since Twilight had heard about it. She was now able to predict what gender a foal would be, from anywhere after the first month is over, and a bunch of over stuff that wasn't as vague and quick. Her tail suddenly started twitching and she glanced over at Confetti, who was bouncing under a shelf that had 3 flower pots resting on it. ''Conny, you should move. Those flowers are gonna land on you.'' Confetti listened to her mother, moving out of the way of the flower pot shelf, and suddenly a mild earthquake happened as a rainbow explosion filled the air. One of the flower pots landed on the floor right where Conny had been standing. Twilight glanced at the rainbow explosion, which was now settling down and vanishing. She sighed, as she knew what it probably was. ''Looks like Applejack had Rainbow destroy one of her barns, so she could put up a nicer one.'' Pinkie nodded in agreement, she then turned to Cheese and Confetti. ''Come on, guys. We should get to the festival. See ya later, girls. I hope you have a good date.'' Cheese and Confetti agreed and said in unison, ''See ya later, girls.'' The small family then bounced off, leaving Twilight and Fluttershy to their date. The two girls smiled at each other, then Fluttershy spoke with as her smile turned into a small frown. ''Twilight.....looking at how cute Pinkie's family is, I want a filly....and colt of our own. Even though I know it's impossible.'' She looked down, Twilight stared at her with sympathy and agreement, she also wanted a foal. She slowly thought about different spells, she knew some gene merging spells and it was possible to merge hers and Fluttershy's egg cells but where would be they get the sperm cells. She didn't want to use a random stallion, as that would be awkward. But that left only one other option, animal sperm cells, which would be dangerous. She decided to voice the possibility, even though she knew it was only gonna be a small probability of it working. ''Well, Flutters....there is a chance we could have a foal. But I don't know if you'd agree with it. I know various spells that would allow me to merge yours and my egg cells....and then we use a sperm cell from one of your animals.....to make a foal, but this foal will gain DNA from the animal we would use....The only other method is turning one of us into a stallion....which is something I don't really trust...'' ''....That sounds like a problem.....'' mumbled Fluttershy. ''B-but...if there is a chance we could have a child.....I'd take the first option.....which animals are the better options?'' ''Well, I'd stay domesticated animals, like bunnies, cats and such......wilder animals would be dangerous to handle, as I wouldn't be able to keep the DNA stable enough....so if we went with a bear or something, the child could end up with disabilities.'' ''Wow....well, I t-think I'll ask Angel tonight if he'll let us use his...s-sperm...'' ''We both want a child, Flutters. Relax, if you be patient and help him understand, I'm sure Angel will let you.'' Fluttershy slowly nodded, hoping that her wife was right. They did want a child, even though they would have to use Animal Sperm to make it happen. She just hoped that Angel would agree, he was pretty aggressive after all but maybe if they got him a amazing meal then he would accept, maybe. Later that night, back at the castle, Fluttershy was stood in front of her pet bunny, who was stomping his feet with boredom as he waited for to explain the entire situation. He then squeaked and growled in a bunnyish way. Fluttershy sighed, he obviously didn't want part of it so she decided to try her backup plan and said. ''Angel...if you let us use your s-sperm so we can have a child.....then I'll make you that nice lettuce and carrot meal with the cherry on top.'' She even show him the book that displayed a picture of the meal she knew he liked. He looked at it and finally let them do what they wanted, if they would do his meal. So Twilight quickly used a spell to extract the bunny's sperm from his body while Fluttershy began to make the bunny's meal for him. Once Angel was feed and happy, the couple met and began the entire spell. ''Just hold still, Flutters. I need you to have full concentration so that the embryo makes it way inside of you, and I'll then use a spell to make sure it implants.'' Her wife nodded, as Twilight quickly used an combining spell which combined hers and Fluttershy's egg cells together and then she continued her spell by implanted one of Angel's sperm cells into the egg cell combo. They quickly formed a embryo and from there, Twilight used a spell to slip the embryo into Fluttershy's body, making sure it implanted into her wife's uterus without fail. All while this was happening, both mares were worried for potential risks or even failure but they managed to focus long enough for the entirety of the spell to be done. Twilight sighed with part relief when the spell was complete and their hadn't been any problems. Fluttershy was official impregnated with their (And Angel's, to a extent) foal. They, of course, hoped that no other problems would show up in the future, and they also hoped that their child would be accepted when it was born, even if it was part rabbit. But they wouldn't know until their child was born. But they were just glad that they could be having a child and that's what matter to them at that point in time. The only thing to worry about was if the spell would fully work, as there was still a chance of failure, so they had to be a bit prepare. But even though that was a lingering thought, the only thought going through their mind was the fact they wee gonna have a baby and that excited them and keep that happy and away from sad thoughts about potential failure. After all, soon-to-be parents shouldn't be thinking about dangers, only about the happy times they'll have with the baby.
