Fluttershy gently flutters around the village, with a basket in her jaws. She needed to return a book she was borrowing, and she needed to find the animal book she loved so much. Looking around, she saw many ponies, who were accompanied by friends and loved ones. Seeing this, Fluttershy felt depressed. She wanted somepony, not to be friends with, but to share affection with. Fluttershy sighed, and carried on looking. She came across Rainbow Dash, who waved at her.
"Hey, I heard somepony will be talking to you!" Fluttershy rolled her eyes, knowing who it was. Rainbow was always teasing that Fluttershy actually liked the pony.
"You know as well as I do that I don't like Big Mac, and I don't want anything to do with him!" Fluttershy whispered.
"Yeah, yeah. Just take a joke!" exclaimed Rainbow, laughing. Fluttershy smiled and turned away, continuing to fly towards the book store. She finally made it! Fluttershy enthusiastically opened the door and trotted in.
"Hello, Fluttershy!" a purple alicorn exclaims. "Come to borrow another book?"
"Hello, Twilight. I was wondering, may I borrow the book The Animals again?" asked Fluttershy, who was smiling.
"You love that book so much! Well, how about you keep it?" replied Twilight.
"You would do that for me?" questioned Fluttershy, ever so happy. Twilight nodded. "Oh, thank you so much!" Oh, Twilight is so nice! She is a wonderful friend I hope to keep forever! Fluttershy put the book in her basket, next to the animals. She trotted out, excited to read the book.
"Hello, Big Mac!" exclaimed Applebloom, who trotted up to the handsome red stallion. "You lookin' at Fluttershy again?" she asked as the buttercream pegasus trotted by.
"Eeyup! I am going to make her my wife! Who wouldn't want to marry me?" replied Big Mac, who smiled. Fluttershy would make a wonderful wife, and she was bound to say yes to his request.
"Yeah, who wouldn't?" yelped Applebloom, as Big Mac shoved her to the side, and walked off, passing Rarity, Roseluck, and Lyra, who sighed, wishing they could marry Bic Mac.
Fluttershy sat by a fountain where many birds were perching around. Big Mac walked up from behind her.
"Hey, Fluttershy," spoke Big Mac. Fluttershy sighed, annoyed. Big Mac thinks he can just have her, as every mare else loves him for his looks. Fluttershy wished that he would find another mare to bother, as he always would try to talk to her.
"Yes, Big Mac?"
"You are a beautiful mare, with the silkiest pink mane I have ever seen," he started. That was sweet, but still. He is arrogant and rude, not the type for Fluttershy. "A mare like you deserves to be with a handsome, strong stallion like me." Fluttershy bit back a sharp retort. "Fluttershy, will you marry me?" Any other mare would say yes.
"I am sorry, but no, you aren't my type," whispered Fluttershy. Big Mac smiled a moment, triumphantly. Then, his expression changed.
"What?" Big Mac gaped his jaw.
"I don't want to marry you, and I apologize for that," explained Fluttershy, and she flew away, leaving Big Mac behind, who was aggravated that she had declined his offer. Fluttershy then trotted to the bakery, and was greeted by Pinkie Pie.
"Hello, Fluttershy!" exclaimed Pinkie. "What delicious treat do you want today?"
"Actually, I don't know yet. May I look around?" replied Fluttershy. She saw some cookies that looked tempting to buy. She saw their price, and she thought it would do for a nice treat. She picked up 3 cookies.
"I will have some of these," declared Fluttershy.
"OK, that will be 3 bits!" cheered Pinkie. Fluttershy gave her the bits. She was Mr and Mrs Cake in the background, baking more delicious treats to sell. Fluttershy walked out of the bakery, and decided to go down to fountain again. Fluttershy pulled out one of the tasty cookies and crumbled it, and scattered the crumbs, attracting many animals. She grinned as they took the crumbs. Fluttershy then started walking off, gaxing around the area, and then a thought struck her!
