Chapters I spy ....Pinkie Pie 2 The Return
The Mane Six were at the spa on their weekly vist. Rarity had bought along the newspaper, and everyone was discussing its contents.
Pinkamena Pie,or better known as her cover name "Pinkie Pie" had just got back from diffusing a bomb in Manehatten, and was only half listening to their conversation.She was thinking about the Diamond Dogs. How did they afford all that stuff? A shiny cage, invisible hatches,alarms? Sure they could of sold gems for it, but that wasn't in their nature. Diamond dogs were greedy at heart, they loved to hoard. So then where did all that stuff come from? There's something bigger going on here, Pinkie thought to herself.
" -but if that strange pony that saved us from the Diamond Dogs,worked for P.W.N.Y, then how come Celestia never told me about this so called agency?" Twilight asked,frowning at the thought of her beloved teacher keeping a secret from her.
Pinkie Pie snapped her head around "what are you talking about?" she asked,pulse racing.
Apple Jack cocked her head "the news. An annomous pony said that they worked in a secret organisation run by Celestia, called Protecting and Watching over the Nations Youth, or P.W.N.Y for short. That's probably who saved us in Appleoosa. Here" She beckoned to the newspaper on the table. Trembling slightly, Pinkie Pie picked it up.
A SECRET ORGANIZATION??
An pony came to my door step, claiming that he had information about "a top secret organisation" that Celestia ran.The pony in question said he would prefer to stay anonymous. He told me that is was called Protecting and Watching Over the Nations Youth. Instantly spotting a pothole,I pointed out that means they can only help foals. The Source simply laughed and said "we are all foals to Celestia."
He then went on to explain how P.W.N.Y would help ponies,big or small, rich or poor. He also claimed that the mare that saved The Mane 6 when they were captured by Diamond Dogs was working for P.W.N.Y and that was the "backup" Celestia said they would have. The stallion described P.W.N.Y actually quite well. "Different colored walls for different things. The gadget room,for example, was represented by the color orange, while the training room is pure white. There are also more rooms for the spies themselves, they too are all color coded. If you are new, you are put in a baby blue room, but if your at the top of your class, you get a red room.
"How do you know all this?" I asked him, quite curious now. My source looked me dead in the eye and simply said "because I'm one of them. I don't care, I'm done with the dumb organisation. We get no credit, I'll be back next week, and I may-or may not, mention one or two ponies who work there. That's all I will say.
Is it true that Celestia has a secret organization? If so, then how was it kept from us fr so long? This is Leaking Pen from Equestria Daily.
Pinkie Pies eyes narrowed "I have to go" she hissed out, eyes narrowed.
Twilight squinted "are you okay Pinkie?" Her friends looked at her with concern and slight suspicion.
Pinkie, realizing that she could give the whole game away said "how dare she lie to us! That's it! I am writing a letter to Celestia and Luna about this, and they have to Pinkie Promise that they are not lying when they say they don't have a secret organisation." With that, Pinkie galloped out of there.
Rainbow raised an eyebrow "they could just lie" she remarked.
Apple Jack looked at her like she was insane " and risk getting her mad?" she demanded. Fluttershy winced, remembering what happened when Apple Jack broke her Pinkie Promise.
"Yeah don't do that" she said, softly as usual. Rainbow Dash shuddered and nodded
Celestia was talking to Crackling Radio, the second in command at P.W.N.Y when Pinkamena appiritated into the middle of the room. "You guys heard the news too huh?" she asked,by way of greeting. If it had been anypony else, Crackling Radio would of demoted her from red to pink,the rank below it, but Pinkamena Pie wasn't just "anypony else." When she was two years old, she took down a drug gang for selling Clenbuterol to fillies. She was a red before she was even potty trained.
So instead he just nodded and said "yes, me and Celestia are trying to figure out who the source is. So far we have had no luck." Crackling Radio was light grey with black hooves and mane and his cutie mark was sunglasses. When Apple Jacks old friend Countess Coloratura was visiting, he became a backpony to keep her safe.
"Well who was missing at the time?" Pinkamena suddenly appeared beside him. He didn't jump, he was the one who taught her how to do that.
Cracling Radio squinted " all of the P.W.N.Y agents, besides you where there, but you have an alibi." Pinkamena nodded. "Me, Donut Joe,Derpy and Octavia all left early, since the red department was being remodeled, and we had nowhere to go. I locked up, and we all went our separate ways.I went straight home."
"What time did you leave at?" Pinkie frowned,tilting her head.
Crackling Radio didn't hesitate "half past five, an hour earlier than normal times. Approximately one hour earlier, the newspaper report
Pinkamena nodded "right, I'll check up on each of them and see if they all have alibi's" with that Pinkamena vanished into thin air

Pinkamena raced through P.W.N.Y,searching for Crackling Radio. She ignored the friendly hello's and good morning sent her way. She burst into Crackling Radio's private quarters. "Hello there Pinkamena"he greeted"what can I do for you?"
"I know what you did" hissed Pinkamena.
Crackling Radio froze for a few seconds the laughed "I don't know what your talking about, Pinkamena" he said, swishing his tail nervously, before realizing what he was doing and stopped.
"Oh really? Well then, allow me to refresh your memory" Pinkamena began to walk towards Crackling Radio. "You went to the newspapers and told them all about P.W.N.Y and it's inner workings, going behind everyponies back to do so. Your a traitor!"
Crackling Radio began to advance towards her now, eyes hard and cold. "That is quite the accusation you got there. Do you have any evidence?"
It was Pinkamena who began to back away now,but she still kept her light blue or grey eyes fixed firmly on the advancing pony. "Yes, Mayor Mare gave me the exact time when you came home, which does not match up to your account of going straight home after closing time, you want to explain that?"
Crackling Radio pressed a button and steel shutters snapped down on the windows and door, stopping any means of escape for Pinkamena. "Such a shame" he said, shaking his head "Celestia will be so sad to here her most potential agent was the traitor, especially when I tell her that you attacked me and that I had no choice but to kill you."
He grabbed his weapon, a curved shortsword with a deadly blade. Pinkamena cursed herself for not thinking of bringing her weapon along the second she had heard it was Crackling Radio. She had underestimated him. But then, so had he. As Crackling Radio lunged forward, Pinkamena twisted around,grabbed his ear, and slammed his head into the ground.
Crackling Radio was on his hooves in seconds and roundhouse kicked Pinkamena up against a wall. Pinkamena couldn't escape, she was trapped. Ah, Pinkamena thought, PINKAMENA can't escape, but Pinkie Pie.... Pinkamena's mane poofed out, and Crackling Radio's smile was wiped off his face, replaced with a look of terror. He knew what Pinkie Pie meant.
Pinkie smiled in response,then teleported behind him. Crackling Radio turned and roundhouse kicked her once more, except Pinkie Pie was now in the air. Crackling Radio cursed himself for his stupidity; that was one of the tricks that only Pinkie Pie knew. Well, Crackling Radio knew a few of his own.
Poniies who were working on gadgets got the shock of their lives when two ponies burst out of a brick wall, and tumbled, biting,kicking and boxing, around the room. The pink blur was flung to the other side of the room, while the grey blur froze, revealing Crackling Radio, who was staring at the limp, pink form of Agent 4201.
Chain Reaction and Gizmo, the two lead ponies for the gadgetry branch of P.W.N.Y looked shocked to see their second in command brutally beat down one of their best agents. What happened next, nopony could describe. One second, Pinkie was lying motionless on the ground, the next a pink blur {similar to the one that appeared in Party Of One} cleared the distance to where Pinkie once was, and Crackling Radio. The blur slammed into him, grabbed the toffee gadgets and jumped through the hole that it had made when it had slammed into Crackling Radio.
It went on for hours, Crackling Radio and Pinkie Pie fighting with all they had. Had it been Pinkamena vs. Crackling Radio, the odds would of have been even, but Pinkie Pie defied the very laws of physics, it was hard to keep her down. Even if she didn't have that name, the mare that passed the test as the youngest agent in P.W.N.Y was Pinkie Pie.Crackling Radio was soaring through the air, in the perfect position to stab Pinkie in the heart, when,she grabbed her famous cannon out of nowhere. Hammerspace,thought Radio, remembering another trick that only Pinkie knew.
Princess Celestia was waiting for The Mane 6 to arrive,when Crackling Radio was blasted through the wall and landed at her hooves, uncomprehending for a few seconds.
In those few seconds, Pinkie Pie,now Pinkamena, forced the truth serum toffee's down his throat. In seconds, Crackling Radio had confessed to everything, from stealing cupcakes when he was a colt, much to Pinkamena's horror, Celestia's guard had to hold her back, to ratting out P.W.N.Y to the newspapers.
P.W.N.Y agents took Crackling Radio away, and Celestia turned to Pinkamena."Looks like I'll need a new second in command" she sighed. "Are you still going to tell my friends about P.W.N.Y?" asked Pinkamena.
Celestia sighed and nodded "yes, it is the right thing to do. But don't worry, I won't tell them about you, if you don't want to." Pinkamena shook her head "no, when you give the tour of P.W.N.Y, then they can see who I am, but not before." Without another word, Pinkamena teleported to the train station.

The Mane 6 walked into the great hall, where Celestia,Luna and Cadence were waiting. They all stopped in a line, as always. [just saying]
"Princess Twilight, I assume you and your friends got the message that I was going to tell you all the truth about pony?" Celestia asked.
When The Mane 6 nodded, Celestia looked over at her niece and Luna, then,turning back to them, said "P.W.N.Y is real."
There was instant chatter. "What is it?" asked Fluttershy
"Are those the ponies that saved us?" asked Apple Jack
"Why didn't you tell one of us?" Twilight said
"How come this wasn't leaked out before?" demanded Rarity.
Celestia held up a hoof for silence. "P.W.N.Y is a secret agency dedicated to helping others, but not in the way you six do. There are some creatures,like Crysalis for example, who don't want friends, just to destroy everything that we have built. There job is to stop them from doing just that. Our agents are probably ponies that you see every day, but they are trained to go beyond perfection. And yes, the ponies that helped you when The Diamond Dogs returned were P.W.N.Y agents. P.W.N.Y has been running for eighty five years, and the reason why it has nevr been leaked before is simple, if it got out, all P.W.N.Y agents would be in terrible,terrible peril. Crackling Radio,my second in command,decided that we were not getting enough credit, and told the newspaper about us. Luckily one of my best agents discovered his treachery and he is now in P.W.N.Y's special cells. That is why I need all of you to keep P.W.N.Y a secret."
"Uh, I am the Element Of Honesty, so how is that going to work?" asked Apple Jack.
Celestia lifted a simple apple bobbin out of a small box. "As long as you wear this, you can lie about P.W.N.Y,but nothing else" she explained. Apple Jack swapped it out for the last bobbin in her mane, and she glowed briefly,before returning to her normal state.
"Hang on a minute! Why weren't Apple Jack and I recruited for P.W.N.Y! I am the fastest flyer and she is ridiculously strong!" Exclaimed Rainbow Dash.
"And I could of have used my magic!" Said Twilight, a put out look on her face.
Celestia looked at the three annoyed mares, and shrugged. "You were not ready for P.W.N.Y. My agents are just as fast as you Rainbow Dash, as well as being as strong as Apple Jack and the unicorns all have extremely powerful magic. You have to be good at everything not just one or two things."
Rainbow Dash leaped up into the air and hovered there. "Well then, let's see this AMAZING agents of yours. I bet we could take them on!"
When Twilight and Apple Jack nodded in agreement, Celestia said "you will get the chance when you go on the tour of P.W.N.Y tomorrow. For now I must decide my new second in command. My guard will escort you all out."

The Decision
Every agent in P.W.N.Y was gathered in the light red, almost pink room. This was known to all P.W.N.Y agents as ,simply, "The Assembly Hall."
At the very front of the hall was a white stage,that you could get up to by climbing the stairs on the right side. On that stage where four podiums. Ever since Luna and Cadence found out, they're podiums had been added. The last podium was for the second in command. After about an hour of just chatter, Celestia,Luna and Cadence walked onto the stage. Nopony looked at them in awe. To the agents of P.W.N.Y they were just their employer and her friends. Nothing more.
"I thank you all for coming in such short notice." Celestia was on the podium second nearest to the stairs. Luna took the furthest and Cadence between them. The podium closest to the stairs was empty. "I am sure you are all aware of what happened earlier this day." The crowd started murmuring loudly, showing that, yes,they did indeed, know what happened to their trusted deputy. "Rest assured thanks to agent 4201, Crackling Radio is now in maximum security block of P.W.N.Y." Cheers erupted from the crowd and Pinkamena was surprised to get a lot of pats on the back, but accepted them graciously.
Celestia cleared her throat for silence. Once there was, she looked at the crowds. "I, Celestia, founder of P.W.N.Y, now make it my duty, along with my sister and niece, to decide our second in command. That mar or stallion must be brave,smart,quick,agile and strong. They must also show willingness to risk it all. Tradition states that the leaders must spend one hour at least, deciding who becomes second in command, but it actually only took us ten minutes to agree." Celestia turned to Cadence and Luna.
"It is with greatest pleasure" Luna seemed to look at every pony in the audience. "That we name P.W.N.Y's newest second in command."
"Pinkamena Pie! Would you please stand up?" asked Celestia. Pinkamena looked up,shocked. Slowly she got to her hooves and looked at the hundreds of eyes staring at her. "When I was about to give up hope on finding the spy, it was Pinkamena who figured it out, and battled Crackling Radio. And it would be my honor to have Agent 4201 stand by me at all times." Celestai stared at Pinkamena. "What do you say, Agent 4201?"
There was pure silence as Pinkamena walked up to Crackling Radio's- her podium. She took a deep breath, and looked among her many,many friends. "Was not expecting me" she admitted. "What can I say, other than, it would be my honor?" The whole hall exploded with noise. Cheers, claps, hooves stamping on the ground, wolf whistling and a chant "Pinka-mena,Pinka-mena, Pinka-mena."
Afterwards there was a huge party in the hall, and Pinkamena was allowed to talk to her agents. She bounded up to Donut Joe,Octavia and Delihah. "Hey guys" she said looking at them.
"Congratulation,Pinkamena" said Delihah. Pinkamena nodded in thank you.
"S, is it true that your friends are getting a tour of P.W.N.Y tomorrow?" asked Octavia.
"Yep,so if you don't want them to know, don't come in tomorrowBut I'm going, I want to see their faces" Pinkamena smiled.
The clock chimed eight,signalling it was time to go. "Good luck Pinkamena" Joe called over his shoulder.
"I thin I may need it" muttered Pinkamena,before teleporting away.

Twilight,Apple Jack,Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were standing in the center of the maze that Discord used. "Why do you think Celestia sent Pinkie Pie ahead of us?" Asked Apple Jack, looking around at her other friends.
Rainbow Dash shrugged. "Beats me. Twilight, did you remember the passcode?" Twilight gave her a withering look before trotting over to the flags. Taking off the little triangles of cloth revealed a button. Twilight walked over to each of he flags and pressed every button in the order, green,yellow,red,blue. When she finished, the bush wall of the maze separated, showing off a long corridor with stairs leading down o at the end.
"That's..... new" Fluttershy said staring at it. They walked down. The stairs led to an empty room with no doors or windows. When Rarity, the last pony, stepped inside, the entrance was closed off, and the floor dropped, to fast for even Rainbow Dash liking.
When the elevator opened, Celestia,Luna and Cadence were there waiting for them. Celestia lead them down the hall way and opened a giant steel door with her horn. " Welcome to P.W.N.Y" Celestia said sweeping her hoof around the room. The room itself was hexagonal [I had to check that word three times,just to be sure] with desks and swivel chairs in neat rows. At every chair was a pony, all talking or typing.
The Mane 6 all gasped, seeing ponies that they would see on a daily basis. Celestia led them into a light blue room. "This is where all the new agents go" she explained. "We teach them Knot tying, Shelter making, and basic safety as well as karate and judo." Strike, the foal who had gotten the bowling cutie mark, was there, tying and untying a complicated knot.When they are finished with training, they go to the cream room, then the silver, and finally the red. I will show you all of those room's later but first-" Celestia opened up into a white room. "Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, Twilight, if you truly want to join P.W.N.Y," The three nodded eagerly. "First you will have to beat our junior agents."
"What?" Scoffed Rainbow Dash, flying upwards " I took down Discord,The Changelings,kinda, and Nightmare Moon. Give me your best agent!"
Twilight nodded,along with Apple Jack. " I faced off against Tirek, I think we can handle your best agent" she announced.
Celestia sighed but said "4201, could you come in here please? Apple Jack, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle would like to battle you." Turning back to them, she explained "Agent 4201 is my second in command."
Pinkie Pie slipped through the door and walked onto the carpet. The others still looked around ."Ah don't get it" cried Apple Jack,staring at the door. "Is your Second In Command coming or not?"
Celestia couldn't help but laugh. "Pinkie Pie IS my second in command" she said,still laughing slightly.
The Mane 6 froze, then turned to look at their pink friends, who smiled and nodded in return. "So, who is up first?" She asked looking between her three friends.
Rainbow Dash was the first to get over her shock, and trotted forwards until she was facing Pinkie on the mat. Both bowed, and Rainbow Dash lunged at Pinkamena's legs, planning on tripping her up. However, mid air, Pinkamena grabbed Rainbow, flipped her onto her back, and,while still in the air, spun around and kicked her into the mat, rendering her unconscious. It was done in a matter of seconds. Pinkamena smiled. "Who's next?" She asked.

After all three of them getting their plots kicked, The Mane 6 ,including Pinkie Pie walked out of P.W.N.Y together. Pinkie noticed how her friends kept whispering and looking at her, then whispering again.
She smiled to herself. Oh well, it was nice to know that somepony not working for P.W.N.Y knew her secret.

Pinkie found Octavia in her basement, eyes closed, trying to find a perfect beat for her music. When she saw Pinkie Pie, Octavias eyes widened in alarm and she pressed a hidden button on top of her bow. The two strings turned into deadly sharp pieces of iron. She twirled it them raised onto her hind legs, weapons raised. Pinkie pie caught it just as it was coming down.
"Agent Octavia, stand down!" commanded Pinkie Pie. Realizing who it was,Octavia smiled sheepishly.
"Sorry Agent Pie, didn't realize it was you" she apologized to her superior agent. "What can I do for you?"
"I'm sure you heard the news right?" Pinkie asked, Octavia nodded "I need to know what you did after closing hours" said Pinkie.
Octavia nodded again. She did not panic, she had been trained to stay calm under any accusations. "I went back here and me and Scratch worked on music for four hours, I can prove it, just ask her."
Pinkie Pie nodded "okay thank you for adding your statement, next up" she grinned "Derpy Hooves."

Derpy was in the middle of baking muffins when Pinkie strolled in. But of course, Pinkie Pie thought.
"Derpy has a fresh batch of muwfins for you all!" Derpy said happily, then seeing Pinkie Pie, froze. "Agent Pinkamena Diane Pie, for what do I owe this pleasure?" she asked,dropping the brain damaged act.
"What were you doing after closing time?" asked Pinkamena asked, straight to the point.
Derpy raised her eyebrows "what I was doing? Oh you mean the newspaper thing. Oh okay, I was teaching Dinky some basic karate moves for an hour then I did my daily messages and went back here. You may check it out if you wish." Pinkie Pie turned to leave. "Oh and Pinkamena, dear, don't forget sometimes the answer is right in front of you the whole time." Before Pinkie could ask, what she meant, she retreated back into her bakery.
Pinkie checked out Mrs Cheerilee, Lyra and BonBon,Matilda and Nurse Redheart. They all confirmed what Derpy, or her real name Delihah, had told her.
Pinkie Pie trudged back to Sugarcube Corner
Author's Note
In Slice Of Life, Octavia's bow can handle enormous amounts of pressue, so I decided to make that her weapon.
I also made Derpy an intelligant sophisticated pony in just one paragraph.

"Hey Joseph"greeted Pinkie Pie, walking into his donut shop.
"Hi Pinkamena" he nodded back "I am guessing your here about the mole?" Pinkamena nodded. "Well, there were rumors of a bomb being set off in Manehatten, and, because I wasn't being told to go there, I had to buy a ticket back. And it took forty five whole minutes. I even took a picture,just to remember what happened,see?" The pictures dated around the time the newspaper had come out. Pinkamena thanked him then left, confused.
"All of the suspects have airtight alibi's, I just don't get it!" Pinkie kicked a rock dejectedly.
"Pinkie!" Rainbow Dash flew up to her.
"Hey Dashie" Pinkie giggled "whats wrong?!"
"Celestia is demanding to see us in a couple of minutes! She said "it's time for you to know the truth."
"What!" shrieked Pinkie Pie, leaping into the air.
Rainbow frowned. "What's wrong? I thought you'd be happy?" she asked.
"I-I'm fine" Pinkie swallowed, backing away slightly. This meant that Celestia had given up hope. "I,uh,just remembered, I nearly forgot something . . . . uh bye!" she was just a pink streak as she ran away.
Rainbow Dash scratched her head and shrugged."Pinkie being Pinkie" she said, as if that explained all.

When Pinkie Pie stopped running she found herself at Saddle Street, where Crackling Radio lived. Maybe I can ask him about all this, she thought, walking up and ringing the doorbell. No answer.
Pinkie Pie turned and sighed, and began walking down the street again. "Oh hello Pinkie Pie" greeted Mayor Mare. "What are you doing here?"
"I was going to ask Crackling Radio something,but he isn't here" Pinkie frowned slightly.
"He is almost never home" agreed The Mayor. "Why yesterday, he got home at half nine."
Pinkie Pie, who was walking away from Mayor Mare, froze. What was it that Crackling Radio had said? "We left at half past five, I went straight home." The Mayor had a day off that week. She would of have noticed.... "Are you sure about that?" squeaked Pinkie.
The Mayor nodded "positive. I spent the entire day at home yesterday, and his front door is creaky, I know when he's coming home. That's his only door. Are you alright Pinkie?" she asked, staring a the mare who was blowing steam out of her nostrils.
"Okie Dokey Lokie" she hissed, the slid backwards,leaving Mayor Mare confused.

YAHOOO! I know this chaptr is short but look at all my other stories. I had to work o those and the group Baby Pinkie Pie, which I just set up. Don't worry,I'll concentrate on this more now.
