Chapters "Today's the day, Spike!" Said a muffled voice. "Today I learn a spell that creates portals to new, unknown worlds!" Said the voice while a book is magically removed from a shelf, revealing the voice as none other than Princess Twilight Sparkle. She turns around and walks to a desk in order to read the book. "This spell is supposed to be really hard to do, but I think i'm ready." She said while reading the book with a look of excitement and determination.
"Uh, are you sure this is a good idea. I mean, opening portals to new worlds could potentially be very dangerous! What if you bring somepony from their world into ours!?" He said a tone of fear and concern.
"Don't be silly, Spike. Everything will be perfectly fine." She said with a smug look of certainty.
"That's what you said last time, and we know how well that went." Spike replied while rolling his eyes.
"Yeah yeah, I know, you turned into a monster and almost destroyed half of equestria." Twilight said while rolling her eyes. "You really need to have more faith in me."
"That's kinda hard when you've destroyed a castle, created a blackhole, and helped Trixie almost take control of Ponyville." Spike said with a serious yet sarcatic tone in his voice.
"Sure I did those things, but it all ended up getting fixed in the end." Twilight said walking to the shelf to put the book back. While she walks toward the shelf, the book starts emitting a faint glow. The glow gets brighter and brighter as the book gets closer to shelf. The book then shoots open violently. The pages start turning until coming to a sudden and complete stop on a certain page. The book projects many lights into the air. Each light spelling out words or making symbols and pictures.
"Whoooaaaaa!" Spike said while in awe about what happened. "H-How'd you do that, Twilight!?" He asks.
"I-I didn't. It was the book." She said in confusion about what happened.
"The book!?" Spike asked. "But how!?" He continued.
"I don't really know, Spike." Twilight replied. She started reading what the light wrote out in front of her very carefully and thoroughly. It only took a few sentences for her to figure out what it was and what it said. It was the spell she was learning today except this one went to a specific world. It went to a world of creativity and imagination. The world of OCs.
"Spike! Do you know what this is!?" Twilight asked in excitement. She continued before Spike could say anything. "This is the spell I'm supposed to try today!" She exclaimed.
Spike looks at words then back at Twilight. "You seem pretty sure about that." He said. "Well, since you seem to think to this is a good idea, might aswell give it a shot." He continued. Twilight turned around and pointed her horn forward while closing her eyes to concentrate. An orb of light shoots out of her horn into the air. The orb expands until in engulfs the whole library. A hole then appears and absorbs all of the light into it. Twilight opens her eyes and looks and the hole. "Did it work?" Spike asked.
"I don't know." Twilight responded while staring at the hole. Out of nowhere a pony flies out of the hole and crashes into bookshelf.
"Ow! That always happens." Said the pony. As the pony gets to their hooves Twilight just sits and stares a for a few seconds before saying something.
"H-Hello there." She said nervously.
"Hi!" The pony exclaimed. Twilight looks at the new pony and examines carefully. She notices that it's a stallion pegasus with a dark blue coat and purple mane that has a big pink streak down the middle. Twilight then stops examining him to ask him a question.
"W-what's your name?" She asks nervously.

Chapter 2: The New Guy and His Friends
The stallion raced up to Twilight. "I'm Nightlight!" He exclaimed. "What's your name!?" He asked in excitement about meeting a new pony.
"I-I'm Twilight and this is Spike." Twilight replied while gesturing toward both her and Spike.
"Uh, hello." Said Spike nervously.
"Hi! Very nice to meet you both!" Nightlight exclaimed!
"Likewise." Said Twilight.
"Can you excuse us for a second." Said Spike while pulling Twilight aside.
"Okie dokie!" Said Nightlight while flying around the room to look at the stuff in the library.
"What do want, Spike?" Asked Twilight.
"I'm not so sure about this guy." He replied.
"Why? He seems nice, he reminds me a lot of Pinkie." Twilight said while chuckling slightly. "He's got a fun, loud personality."
"I just get a bad feeling from him." Said Spike while looking towards Nightlight. "Plus, do we need another Pinkie. We already have one." He continued.
"What's wrong with having another one? Don't you remember Cheese Sandwich?" Asked Twilight. Spike just stared at Twilight for a good few seconds before responding. Spike looked over at Nightlight for a second before looking back at Twilight.
"Fair enough, but I'm still keeping an eye on him." Spike replied with a serious tone in his voice.
Nightlight continued to look around. Nightlight is a very curious and strange pony. He loves to meet new ponies. He loves to see new places and things. He especially loves throwing parties. He stopped looking around for a second because he heard a scream coming from the portal. The scream keeps getting louder and louder until another pony comes flying out of the portal. The pony rolls across the floor until coming to a complete stop in front of Twilight.
"Ow." Said the pony with a blank, expressionless face. Twilight looked at the white stallion with a red and black mane.
"Uh, are you ok?" Twilight asked the new stallion.
"Yes I'm fine. Thank you for your concern." He replied as he stands up. He looks at Twilight for a second. He begins looking around at the room.
Nightlight gasps as he sees the new stallion. "Shades!" He exclaimed while flying toward Shades. Shades then turns and notices that Nightlight is flying right at him at an unimaginable speed.
"Oh, dear celestia." He said with little to no expression in his voice. Nightlight tackles him from above, giving him a big hug.
"It's awesome knowing one of my closest friends is here in this new place with me!" He exclaimed in pure excitement.
"How many times do I have to tell you we're not friends." Shades said while struggling to escape Nightlight's grip. "Can you get off me now?" He asked.
Nightlight lets go of Shades with a huge smile on his face. Shades just has his normal expressionless face. "What have I told you about personal spa-" Shades is interupted by a faint screaming of excitement.
"Yaaaaahooooooo!" The scream continues to get louder as if it's getting closer. Suddenly a green pegasus stallion with a blue, curly mane shoots out of the portal and crashes into Twilight. "Hellooooooo." Said the new stallion. "I'm Twister, who are you?" He asked while his spin around in circles from the impact of the crash.
"I-I'm Twilight and that's Spike." Twilight said nervously while pointing toward Spike.
"Those are nice names." He said while smiling.
"Th-thank you." Said Twilight. Twister gets off of Twilight as she talks. He shakes his head around making his mane all messed up.
"There. That's better." He said.
Nightlight and Shades both just stare. Nightlight begins to open his mouth right before Shades puts his hoof over Nightlight's mouth. "One second." Said Shades as he pulls Nightlight aside.
"What? I just wanted to say hi." Said Nightlight.
"Just listen to me, Nightlight." Said Shades.

Chapter 3: Nightlight's New Crush Part 1
"Ok, I'm all ears." Said Nightlight while putting his hoof behind his ear. Nightlight sat there waiting for Shades to talk for a few seconds. Right as Shades was about to say something, a pony with a pink coat and mane swung open the door as she hopped into the library.
"Twilight!?" She screamed. "Do you have a book on frosting?" She asked Twilight. Before Twilight could say anything she began talking again. "I need for a party I'm throwing later!" She exclaimed.
Shades' eyes widen. "Uh oh." He said while turning looking at Nightlight. Nightlight's eyes widened and a big smile grew onto face.
"Party! Did somepony say party!?" Nightlight exclaimed while flying into the air. He began looking around spastically trying to find who mentioned a party. He then notices the pink mare standing and watching Nightlight scream and fly around. He flies down to her. "Did you say something about a party!?" He asked while in the mares face.
"I sure did!" She exclaimed in response. Her face quickly grew into a smile. "I love throwing parties for my friends!" She exclaimed with a big smile on her face. Nightlight began bouncing up and down in happiness.
"Me too!" He exclaimed while bouncing up and down. "Throwing parties is so much fun, especially with cake and balloons and bubbles and streamers...!" He went on and on about things that make a good party while bouncing up and down with occasional fireworks flying out around him.
"You wanna help me plan this party I'm throwing!?" She asked in excitement.
"Yea I do, new best friend!" He screamed in response. "What's your name!?" He asked.
"Pinkie Pie, but you can just call me Pinkie!" She responded. "What's yours!?" She asked him back.
"Nightlight! " he responded excitedly. "What are we waiting for? We have a party to plan!" He said while grabbing Pinkie's foreleg and flying away with her.
"Hey! This guy's cool and fun! Does he stay all the way through the story!?"
You'll just have to wait and see Pinkie. Why did you have to interupt the story?
"Oh sorry. Ok bye." Pinkie said while going back to Nightlight. "This is gonna be the best...party...EVER!!!!" Pinkie exclaimed with big emphasis on the word "ever".
"I know, especially with party ponies like planning it!" Nightlight exclaimed back right as they get to the town plaza. "Alrighty! Time to get stuff for the party!" He said excitedly. Nightlight and Pinkie spend 4 hours buying stuff for their party. "Is this enough!? I want my first party in this new place to be AWESOME!" He said with a huge smile on his face.
"It will be awesome! I pinkie promise!" Pinkie screamed with assurance. "And I never break a pinkie promise." She continued. They both make their way to Sugarcube Corner to set up for the party. "Okie dokie lokie, let's get the party set up!" She said while hopping over to a wall to hang up balloons and streamers.
Nightlight begins flying around the room hanging stuff up and decorating in different ways as he flies. Nightlight has been planning parties since he was only 8 years old, so he knows many good ways to decorate for parties.
A few hours later, Nightlight and Pinkie finished decorating and baking a cake for the party along with other food. "Yay! We're done!" Nightlight exclaimed. "This is gonna be EPIC!" He continued.
"Yea it is! I can't wait for tonight!" Pinkie said with confetti flying everywhere.
"I can't either!" Nightlight said with fireworks flying out around him.

Chapter 4: Nightlight's New Crush Part 2
Later that night the party started. Everypony talking, laughing and enjoying themselves. Nightlight was bouncing up and down from happiness that the part was going well. Vinyl Scratch was doing the music for the party since Shades refused to take part in anything involving the party, he did end up attending the party though. Shades just kinda sat alone and ate cake, not talking to anypony. Pinkie was wandering around the party and talking to the ponies she passed by. Nightlight begins bouncing over to Pinkie. "We did it! The party's great!" He exclaimed.
"I know!" Pinkie exclaimed. "I'm not surprised though, I mean it was 'us' who planned it!" She continued excitedly.
"Yep!" Nightlight responded. "We make a pretty good team!"
"Yep!" Pinkie agreed. "If you excuse me, I have some party business to attend to." She said while hopping away. Pinkie hopped toward some colts and fillies. The kids were cheering and jumping as Pinkie approached them. Pinkie then began to do silly stunts and tricks. Nightlight observed as Pinkie entertained the little foals. Nightlight's heart began to beat almost three times faster than normal.
"What the!" He exclaimed while putting hoof against his chest. "My heart is beating faster!" He said with a rather worried tone. "Why is this happening!" He continued in a panic. Nightlight began thinking that he got a disease.
"You have a crush buddy." Said a random pony from the party. "I would know, I've got my eye on Rainbow Dash over there." He continued.
"A crush?" Asked Nightlight, who seemed confused by the idea that he had a crush on anypony. "Who could I possibly have a crush on?"
"I don't know, were you looking at somepony when your heart started pounding?" The other stallion asked.
"Yes. I was looking at Pinkie Pie." Nightlight replied. "But there's no way I have a crush on her, we're just good friends." He continued. "Oh wait, I'm so silly, I forgot to ask your name." Nightlight said while putting his hoof on the side of his head.
"The name's Soarin." Soarin said. "One of the head Wonderbolts." He continued. "I was actually here in Ponyville for a show, but I figured I'd swing by and have a good time for the few days I'm here." Soarin said.
"Oh cool!" Nightlight exclaimed. "I've always dreamed of becoming a Wonderbolt." Said Nightlight. "But I'm not the greatest flier."
"Hey, just keep training and practicing and you'll get there." Said Soarin with a smile. "Anyway, bye. I'm gonna go talk to Rainbow Dash." He said while walking away from Nightlight. Nightlight waved as Soarin left. Nightlight went back to looking at Pinkie. His heart started beating faster again, but this time Nightlight's mane started to spike up. Nightlight's wings began to tingle and knees began to wobble, like we was losing balance.
Four hours later, the party was over. Nightlight was at the door waving and saying bye to everypony as they left. Pinkie hopped up right next to him and started to do the same. As she did so, he tensed up and froze a little. He was still waving, but the rest of him wasn't moving.
Everypony was gone and Nightlight and Pinkie started taking down the decorations and cleaning off the tables. Nightlight was thinking to himself about what Soarin had said to him. Nightlight started believing that what Soarin said was true. Maybe he did have a crush on Pinkie.
"He does! That's so awesome!"
Pinkie, seriously. Again.
"What, I'm just happy that this guy who's a lot like me ends up having a crush on me!"
I get that, being in love is nice. But don't go all self-aware on me right in the middle of something so important.
"Okie dokie lokie!"
Anyway, Nightlight began think that maybe he should tell her and possibly ask her out. But of course, like most people/ponies, he was hesitant, fearful of what she might say. After a couple hours of thinking and cleaning later, Nightlight finally gathered up some courage to say something to Pinkie. "Uh, Pinkie." He said very nervously. "There's something I want to say...and ask." He continued.

Chapter 5: Nightlight's Marefriend
"Hey Slime, does he ask me out in this chapter!"
You're self-aware, read the title.
"Ooooooh, ok then."
Ugh, didn't even begin my first sentence and she's already bothering me.
Anyway, Pinkie looked and smiled at Nightlight. His heart started beating much faster as she smiles at him. "Yes, Nightlight? " Pinkie asked.
"I, um I, just wanted to say, I..." Nightlight couldn't put together words. He was nervous, who can blame him. Nightlight blushed lightly while begining to say something. "I wanted to tell you, I kinda have a crush on you. I also wanted to ask if you wanted to go out sometime." He said nervously while his face began getting redder and redder as he said each word.
"Yes! I'll go out with you!" Pinkie said excitedly. Pinkie had been waiting for somepony to ask her that for a long time. Every time she tried approaching a stallion to ask, she always went a little over the top, and scared them away. Having a stallion ask her made Pinkie feel extremely happy and excited.
"Really!? Yay!" Nightlight exclaimed while jumping up and down in happiness. Nightlight's first attempt at asking out a mare was a success. Nightlight couldn't be happier.
"Awwww, he feels that way about a date with me!?"
Pinkie, seriously. Wait until I'm done with my explaining.
"I'm sorry, but I'm happy that there's a stallion that feels that way about me."
I understand that. I explained why, but don't bother me while I'm explaining something.
"Okie dokie lokie!"
The stuff I put up with. Dear Celestia.
Nightlight began thinking of what he could do with her. With it being Pinkie, Nightlight figured that almost anything could work to show her a good time. A lightbulb showed up above Nightlight's head. "I know!" Nightlight said before flying out the door. He comes back in a matter of minutes holding two tickets in his mouth. "These are tickets to the amusement park." He said. The tickets in his mouth made it hard for Pinkie to truely understand what he said.
"What?" She asked.
Nightlight puts the tickets down on the table. "These are tickets to the amusment park." He replied. "I figured such fun mare like you would enjoy the amusement park." Nightlight continued.
"Yipee!" Pinkie exclaimed. "I love the amusement park!" She continued.
"Yay!" Nightlight screamed.
"When do we go?" Pinkie asked.
"This weekend!" He replied excitedly.
"Awesome! I can't wait!" Pinkie exclaimed.
Their first date was set. They both are hoping it goes well. They'd hate to ruin this chance at becoming eachother's special someponies. Nightlight liked Pinkie and Pinkie liked Nightlight. Two party ponies going on a date this can either be really fun or go really poorly.
"What do you mean it could go really poorly!?"
"Yeah!"
Wait, Nightlight, I didn't even allow you to be self-aware.
"I know, I just felt like it. Pinkie does it, I figured I'd give it a shot."
Fine, whatever, just don't do it as often as she does.
"I can make no such promises."
Anyway, it possibly going poorly speaks for itself. You two are a dangerously fun combination.
"That makes a little sense."
"Okie dokie lokie!"
Why did this have to happen three times in one chapter.
Anyways, two party ponies like them can be very dangerous. Especially since one of them can shoot fireworks out of nowhere. Besides all the danger, I bet those two are gonna have lots of fun on their date.
"Darn right we are!"
Nightlight, the chapter's over, just leave me alone at least until next chapter.
"Ok then!"

Chapter 6: First Date 1-Nightlight and Pinkie Pie
A couple days later, Nightlight was waiting outside the gate to the amusement park. Nightlight was thinking of how he should spend the day at the amusement park with Pinkie Pie. How should he start the date? How should he end the date? And many more similar questions. Nightlight couldn't think straight. He was nervous to go his first date with a mare like Pinkie. "Come on, Nightlight. Pull yourself together." Nightlight said to himself. "You've got nothing to worry about." He continued to himself.
"Heeeeeyyy!" Screamed Pinkie from across the area. She began running towards him untill eventually stopping for a fraction of a second and then jumping on top of Nightlight. She then pulled Nightlight into a hug from excitement about the upcoming date.
"Hey, Pinkie." Said Nightlight while returning the hug. Nightlight was just as excited about the date as she was, but nervous just the same.
Pinkie and Nightlight get up off the ground and start heading into the park. Nightlight looks from side to side, not knowing what to do. "Um, let's go over there first." Said Nightlight while pointing towards a path. "Maybe, there'll be some fun games and stuff that way."
A couple hours later, they return to the front of the park. "Woohoo, that was fun!!!" Exclaimed Pinkie. "Let's go there next!" She continued while pointing to a big rollercoaster. "It's my favorite ride here. I'm sure you'll love it." They head towards it and get in line.
After about, half an hour of waiting, they get on. After everypony gets on, the coaster takes off at an unimaginable speed. This sudden movement startled Nightlight, causing his mane spike. Pinkie on the other hoof, was screaming and hollering in excitement.
About a minute or two later, it stops. They get off the coaster, Nightlight's mane still spiked and his eyes wide open. Pinkie still had her big excited smile.
5 hours later, after more games, some rides, and some food, the night was about over. Nightlight decides that going on the Ferris Wheel would be the best way to end the night. He grabs Pinkie's hoof and walks toward the Ferris Wheel with her. They get on, as did everypony else. The wheel starts going. Pinkie was tired out from the day, she lays her head on Nightlight's shoulder. Nightlight turned his head, smiled and leaned his head down on hers.
After one go around of the wheel, Pinke lifts her head, causing Nightlight to lift his. She stares in to Nightlight's big, green eyes. "Thank you for taking me out tonight, Nightlight. I had a lot of fun." She said.
"No problem, Pinkie. I had loads of fun too. I'm glad I got to do this with you. I' have very deep feelings for you." Nightlight responded.
Pinkie blushed. "I have very deep feelings for you, Nightlight." She said. Nightlight smiled at Pinkie after hearing that. Pinkie then moved her head forward and brought Nightlight into a kiss. Nightlight without hesitation kissed back. "This has been great." She said after the kiss. "Let's do this again next weekend."
