Playing In the Clouds

Soon, it was the big night.My costume was finished. Everypony elses too. "Wow. Dint know ya knew how ta come up with somein' like that." Applejack said as Rainbow pulled her costume off a ponyquin.

"Me too, I really was surprised when you brought it to be darling," Rarity turned to me.

"Wait, what are ya?" Aj queered.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm a rainbow version of a wonder bolt. A Rainbolt."

"Sure."

"Hey, sis, can you zip up my costume?" Sweetie Belle came into the room.

"Oh su-" Rarity began, but was interrupted by her sister.

"Oh Celestia! You guys look amazing! Lemme guess- Pinkie, your Frankenpony, and Twilight, your the Mad Scientist?"

"Yes, but I'm not mad I-"

"I wanted to be the mad  scientist. But she wouldn't let me! She said I needed to know science! And I do!" Pinkie Pie interrupted Twilight.

"But you don't!" The alicorn glared at Pinkie. " And the science of parties doesn't count!"

"What about the science of breaking the 4th wall?"

"You can't break the 4th wall!!!"

"Tell that to the readers." Pinkie finished the argument.

"So, Applejack, your.. Uh..." Sweetie Belle perplexed.

"Shes Mistress Marevelous!" Spike answered. "And I'm Humdrum!"

"Right! And, uh Spike, I knew that. Did you forget that I changed my costume last minute to Radience?"

"Oh yea! And Scootaloo is Zapp, and Applebloom is Filly Second!" Spike acknowledged.

"Sis, your a butterfly." I snickered at this, You would think Fluttershy would be the butterfly. "And Rainbow Dash, your a Rainbolt."

"I sure am. Your sister tell you?" The white filly nodded.

"This is going to be a great Nightmare Night!" I told everypony.
