After a dragon attacks Canterlot, the Mane Six are urged to travel to the strange city of Red Terrace to the south of Equestria. There, ponies who call themselves the White Hoods used to kill many dragons to keep their city safe. Much to the Mane Six’s distress, the ponies say they no longer hunt dragons and a terrible drought has been ravaging their lands. They promise to end the drought, but after meeting an anonymous stallion, their search for rainwater soon turns lethal as they manage to spark the anger of ponies who want nothing more than to silence the plea of the common ponies for good.
