The thousand year journey
‘My home. My life. My destiny. It has all changed ever since the Princess took the life of my master and my home away from me. As well as my brother who, was also a student to my master. I never got to see again until today. When I finally saw him, he was different. From what I remember of him, he had the same white coat as me, as well as his eyes and mane. But what I saw was another pony altogether. His coat was black as the darkness in my dead master’s heart, his mane was the same but his eyes were now the color red. We fought against each other not as brothers, but as enemies. My own brother was attacking me, but the look in his eyes said other wise as I saw not a trace of him anywhere. Then our home started to shake. We both ran outside to see the our home and town near it beginning to go under the ice of the frozen north. Before I even spoke a word, he was gone and all I did was look into the raging blizzard that was going on’ I said to myself as I walked the snowy path to nowhere.
As I continued to walk through the blizzard, I just kept thinking to myself. Why? Why did he change? Why did he do those things? And why did he try to kill me?
While I was thinking, I bump into something that felt like another pony. I was knocked to the ground and when I looked up, I saw a mannequin wearing a black coat and a sword tied to it as well.
I looked around to see if there was anypony else out there in this dreadful blizzard. But for some strange reason, I took this as a sign that I need to wear this equipment. I grabbed the black cloak first and put it on my back. For a cloak that came from nowhere, it was a perfect fit. The next was the sword that was in an sheath. As I grabbed it, I noticed that it was a little crooked from the average sword. As I took it out of its sheath with my magic, I soon noticed that it was a katana.
I never saw one this close before. The only time I saw such a weapon was when my master had imported it to the castle for decoration. I put it back in its sheath and placed it on my back.
I let out a heavy sigh as I noticed that the storm was dying down as well as the now naked mannequin was gone too. I looked around to see where it went but, it was gone like the storm.
Trying to think of something else I was wondering how long was I out here. To my knowledge, it could have been hours or possibly days. I didn’t know nor care about food as I went without food for several days before and had it happen to me multiple times.
Then something caught my attention from the corner of my eye. I turned to my left and saw a small town in the distance and made a small smile upon seeing it. I was glad to finally find a place to go after my long trip.
As I entered town, I noticed a bar that seemed like somepony would give me info about this place. When I entered the small bar, I only saw one drunk stallion at the booth, who was asleep and the only other pony who was here was the bartender. I sat down at one of the booths right next to the drunk. “Wine. Blood red.” I asked to the bartender.
All he did was nod and went to the back to pick up a wine bottle, as well as a small glass. As he poured the wine into the glass he started to talk to me “You’re not from around here are you?”
I gave a small chuckle at what he said. “What was your first hint” I said as he passed me my drink.
“The black cloak, the silent treatment and the way you just told me what you want. I know a stranger when I see one”
I took a small slip from my glass as he talked. The wine tasted like crap like I thought it would but I tolerated it. “So… what’s the name of this town” I replied back to him.
“You’re in Snoways, the town that everypony will forget in a few months”
“And why is that?” I replied.
“Everypony left ever since the king tried to take over this place. But luckily, the princess saved us from him and now, me and couple of others are the only ones left in this ghost town”
“Let me guess, you and this stallion are the only ones left?”
“No. There is still Mrs. Curtin here. As well as another group of stallions who are friends with this one” The pony said as he pointed to the unconscious stallion.
I was going to reply to him but, heard the yells of a mare screaming in the distance. “What was that!”
“Probably the mare that I spoke of earlier” The bartender said while putting more wine in the ponies glass but, when he looked up he saw the pony gone.

I galloped towards the screaming and it was coming from an alleyway. I stopped near the corner and turned my head around the corner seeing two stallions and a mare getting rape. I even heard them talking to each other.
“Come on! Let me have a turn at her!” said a green unicorn to a light blue pegasus as he was pounding his stallionhood into a brownish mare who was struggling against her rapist.
“You’ll have your turn as soon as I blow my load into her” the pegasus said as he turned around to his buddy. He went and lowered his head back to the mare. “I know you’re enjoying this you stupid bitch!”
“No AGH i’m AGH NOT!” she yelled between screams. She felt a hoof go across her face as soon as she told him how she was feeling.
“Stop lying and AGH!” The stallion suddenly yelled as he blew his seed inside the mare under him.
“Please… no more” the mare said but was silenced by the unicorn who put his semi erect cock inside her mouth.
I couldn’t take it anymore, seeing a mare getting raped by these ponies. So I thought it was time for me to intervene. I walked towards them as the new stallion started to runt the mare pinned under him. “Hello my fellow friends” I said very casually.
Both of them turned their heads towards me and the one who blew his seed started to talk. “Who are you and why did you call us friends even though we don’t know you” he said in an angry tone.
“Just a little bit of sarcasm. Now, who would I have to kill to stop this crime” Again I said casually.
“Yeah right! Like you’re going to-” but he stopped when I started to charge my magic. The look on his face was just like any other pony I’ve killed in the past. I knew he was looking at my black misty eyes as my dark magic started to form black twin swords in the air.
“What in the word” Was what both the rapist said in unison.
I smiled at the fear they we having. I took one step and next thing they knew, I was behind the pegasus and my dark swords were on him. One of my many swords were in his head and the other was stabbing him in the heart. I looked at the next one in my sights and I started to move my hoof to grab my katana. I started to take it out of its sheath. When only a small part of it was visible, I made a vertical slash towards the unicorn’s body and for a few seconds, nothing happened.
Both of them stood still until the one I just attacked, started to split in half. The other one started to fall and the swords disappeared as soon as he landed on the ground. Blood was everywhere from the half pony and the mare had a horrified face on her. I smiled at her and said one single word “Run”
She did not hesitate as she bolted out of there into the ghost town. I let out a heavy sigh as I put my katana back into its cover. I then noticed a saddlebag near the fallen stallion who had no blood on him and decided to look what was inside of it. There were food and supplies in their to last for about a month but, what I wanted to grab was the water container.
I started to empty the container of all its water and after it was empty, I walked towards the bloody corpse. I started to fill it up with the stallion's blood and when it was full, I started to drink it.
Ever since I lived in my old home, my master only wanted me to drink blood for some reason. The first times it was gross but, I started to enjoy it more and more and so it was something that I started to drink till this day. Sometimes bright red wine would taste close to it but only on rare occasions it would be good.
After I was done drinking the blood, I went and refilled it again from the rapist’s corpse. When I was done I started to put the blood filled container inside the saddlebag and then placed it on my back.
‘With these supplies, I can travel around and maybe find my brother’ I said to myself as I started to move. I did never see anypony else as I came out of the small town. Right now my new life will begin.
