La recistance de la Prance

I was at the train stop with Fluttershy in what was left of Ponyville.   “Uuum Rarity where are you going exactly, if that is okay to ask?” said Fluttershy shyly.

“Well, darling I’m going to Prance to meet up with some old friends of mine, to help ‘the cause’, I’m going to be gone for about three weeks. Is that okay?” I replied.

“As long as you are happy I’m happy, look the train is arriving!” exclaimed Fluttershy softly, while pointing at the train, to try and hide the fact that she almost was crying.

The train stopped and opened its doors. I was excited and sad at the same time. I don’t want to leave Fluttershy alone after what happened. I stepped into the train and went to the window.

  “See you in a few weeks Rarity!” shouted Fluttershy while waving to me.

“Bye darling!” I shouted.

I was sitting in the train, when a young filly came over to me. She was a unicorn, had a blue coat, black mane and purple eye’s. she sat down and asked “Are you the pony who helped save Trottingham?”  and she took out a newspaper with me, Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack on it.

I nodded.

“Thank you, without you my mama and papa wouldn't be on this train.” Said The little filly and cuddled me.

I whispered to myself “but at a great cost.”

And a tear rushed down my face.  “a very, very high cost.”

I put my face in my hooves and started crying.

“a very, very high cost”

            and the little filly started cuddling me again and comforted me.

“think on the bright side, you saved hundreds of lives.”

“but, I didn’t save them, I didn’t. it was Apple jack and Rainbow, not me, I was to selfish to do so, to selfish. Now I lost two of my best friends, my best friends. Because I was selfish, I was TO SELFISH! …. Sorry, I… *sigh* I lost control, sorry.”

“it’s okay, you just frightened me a little.” Reinsured  the filly.

She whispered “Is it okay to ask you where you are going?”

              “To Prance, why?” I asked, while wiping the tears off of my face.

                 “No reason, no reason at all.” She said

“Canterlot, who needs to get off, get off!” said the train driver.

“Bye I need to go! But here is my neckless, to say thanks for saving my mama and papa” Said the filly and took her neckless off and gave it to me.

  I put on the neckless “Thank you it's wonderful.”

and the filly quickly hoped off the seat and ran out the train to her parents. The doors closed.

I thought to myself “That filly was a bit suspicious, it must be me being paranoid!”

                             Then I took a nap.

When I woke up I was border Bellgium to Prance.

  On a sine said “you are leaving Bellgium country off cows, and entering Prance”

the train driver said “We have entered Prance, please collect all your items and we hope you had a nice journey!”

the train stopped at the train station, there two unicorns, one a mare, one a stallion, they both had blue coat, but the mare had a red mane and the stallion a darker blue mane where waiting for me, Amandine and Henry Rose! I ran out of the train to them and gave them a big cuddle.

“Rarity long time, no see!” said Amandine.

“I know right, hi Henry!” I said excitedly.  He waved at me.

   “come let’s go home and Rarity you brought nothing, that’s not like you!” Said Amandine surprised.

“Well, I’ll tell you at home what happened.”   I said.

When we left the train station, Amandine and Henry where very quiet.

I tried to break the silence “uuum, why are you guy’s being so quiet?”

And I nudged Amandine with my elbow.

Amandine whispered “SSSSH! They will hear us, I’ll explain later!”

We walked through the quiet streets, until Amandine walked in front of me and walked to a door. She checked if there were any other pony’s around, and opened the door with her magic.

Amandine whispered “quickly, upstairs! Before they see us.”

And pointed to the stairs.

We got inside and ran upstairs.

I asked “What is happening out there?”

    “Well, King Sombra might not have your country under control, but he has taken over Prance. You are so lucky that your train wasn’t stopped or you would be, you know. Henry and I are part of the resistance, La resistance de la Prance. So around here it gets heavily guarded.” Amandine replied.

“And why is Henry not speaking?” I asked out of curiosity.

     “Well, Henry one time got caught and they cut his tongue out and some of his teeth.” Amandine said sadly and asked me “Tell me what happened where you live, Rarity?”

  “okay, the…” I said but before I could speak a bomb alarm went off.

  “Rarity, Henry run to the basement! NOW!” yelled Amandine.

“Amandine you to! Now, Amandine Rose!” I yelled while Henry pulled my arm. “Amandine!”

  She pushed us down the steps and pushed us into the basement and locked it.

I heard soldiers walking and they stood still one said "false alarm Amandine, it took long for us to find you. until someone in your mist betrayed you. And now you must die."

I heard gun shots. I heard a body falling to the ground. I heard the solders walking away. So I unlocked the lock with my magic. Climbed out and saw Amandine lying on the floor. I ran to her and held her head up. She had two shot wounds.

“Amandine, why? Amandine.” I muttered.

“*gasp* Rarity, take care of Henry and yourself, okay *gasp*” those where her last words.

I went back to the basement and told Henry. He ran out to Amandine. I went to him and cuddled him.

“We must go back in the basement before they come again. I know it’s hard, darling. But you have to be strong”

He nodded and wiped the tears off of his face.  He stood up and helped me stand up. I folded Amandine’s arms and closed her eyes.  Then we went back to the basement and locked the door.

Henry started pointing to a wall. I look and there was a leaver on it. I went to it and pulled the leaver with all my strength and then a secret tunnel opened up. Henry walked through the tunnel and was making hoof movements that I had to come through the tunnel. I walked through and then he shut the door behind us. We walked and we walked through the long tunnel, until we got to a door. Then Henry knocked on it once.  A few seconds someone opened the door. There was an entire lab. Everyone all of a sudden was quiet when they saw Rarity.

A random pony said “Are you Rarity, The Rarity that Amandine talked about?"

“Yes, Amandine has... died. Sombra’s soldiers got her” I said tearfully.

There was a minuet silence.

Until someone brought a metal tongue and asked Henry to come with him. Then a big screen came on with live images from Canterlot. It was getting attacked. When I looked closely I saw the little filly from on the train backed into a corner, hiding, alone.

I screamed “We must help them! Instead of standing here doing nothing! Look at that little filly in that corner, no parents, and frightened for her life, I’ve saved her once and I’ll save her again if I have to! She gave me this neckless of gratitude, but I wasn’t the one who lost their life.”
