Luna sat in the grand living room with her father, Somnus, and her mother, Lumen. Luna and her parents were playing charades, until Celestia trotted into the room rolling her eyes and turned around about to trot into the kitchen for some cake. When Celestia turned around she heard a familiar tiny voice,
"Tia! Will you come play with us!" Luna said looking at her older sister who was a teen, and Luna alittle filly.
"No, just play your little game with mom and dad" Celestia said with a glare to her younger sister.
"Why!" Luna said sounding sad and alittle shocked by Celestias rude answer.
"Because I dont play little foal games and I dont play with annoying little foals like you" Celestia said is a really rude tone.
Lunas eyes began to well up with tears, Celestias mean response hurt little Lunas feelings. All she wanted was to spend time with her big sister, and here she was being put down and called a foal by the one pony she wanted to get appreciated by.
"Celestia! Dont be so rude to your little sister!" Said Lumen scolding her eldest daughter, her tone smooth and silky like day.
"Why not? She is just a little snoty brat" Celestia said glaring down on Luna.
"Celestia! Why are you being so rude?!? Your acting like you hate your sister.." Lumen said, looking down on Celestia, her gaze scary and angry.
"What if I do hate her?" Celestia spat at her mother alittle venom in her tone.
"Get to your room young lady and think about what you said, and no dinner for today" Somnus said, his voice deep and dark like the night.
"UGH!!" Celestia exclaimed stomping out of the room.
The parents turned around to see a sobbing little filly on the ground in a ball, Luna cried and sniffled, even the guards in the room felt bad for the poor filly and shared looks at each other, then at the weeping filly with sympathetic eyes. The guards whispered to each other than spoke to Somnus,
"My king, please forgive me if this seems out of line, but should me and Nightsong stand guard outside princess Celestia's chambers and make sure she dosnt leave?" Asked the lunar guard named, Shadowstar.
"Shadowstar, that is a perfect idea, dont let her leave and nopony enter" Somnus said to Nightsong and Shadowstar.
"Yes my king!" The guards said in unison leaving the room.
Somnus looked down at Lumen around Luna holding the filly tight as she cried into Lumen's chest soaking her fur. Luna cried to her parents and sniffled finial Luna spoke,
"Why dose Tia call me annoying and a brat and tells me everyday she hates me!?!" Luna cried to her mother.
"Shh...shh its alright Lulu she doesn't mean it she is just being a teenager" Lumen said snuggling Luna closer to her.
"The why dose she say im a mistake and I shouldn't even be here, that you didnt even want me......?" Luna said looking at her mothers golden eyes with her tear filled turquoise eyes.
Lumen gasped slightly "She said that?!"
Luna slowly nodded and tears fell more from her eyes, Luna looked at her father who looked intensely angry. He growled and stormed down the maze of corridors passing many lunar guards who already knew what was going on since gossip traveled through the castle like fire in a forest. He came around the cornier and saw Shadowstar and Nightsong at Celestia's chamber doors guarding them. Nightsong saw the look in Somnus's eyes, rage and a furious glow, He looked at the king and without a second thought moved away from the door and so did Shadowstar.
"M-my king should we go?" Shadowstar asked alittle afraid of Somnus.
"No, I dont care if anypony hears this, infact when I come out could we talk?" Somnus asked Shadowstar.
Shadowstar nodded "of course my king" he said watching the king trot into the room.
Somnus trotted into the room and immediately saw the white pony sitting there on the bed, Celestia looked up and saw her fathers scary look, she started to shake alittle in fear. Somnus growled deeply sending a wave of fear up Celestias spin, she looked at his eyes and started to instantly shake more in fear.
"Y-yes dad...." Celestia said shaking alittle just from here fathers look.
"A mistake... thats what you call your younger sister...?" Somnus said in a deep and venomous voice, his infuriated eyes on Celestias own.
"ANSWER ME CELESTIA" Somnus yelled at Celestia so loud it shook the walls.
"Y-y-y-yes....." Celestia said tears starting forming.
"Don't think crying is going to get you out of this Celestia!" He said as he hit the ground sending cracks up the wall.
"I-Im sor-ry d-dad-dy...!!" Celestia said shaking uncontrollably.
Somnus knew when Celestia called him "daddy" she was scared and really truly sorry, but that wasn't going to save her.
"Luna says every day you say you hate her..?" Somnus said growling, "Is this true....?" He asked her.
"I-Im so-rry d-addy, p-please do-not p-punish m-me...." Celestia pleaded tears now pouring down her face soaking her fur.
"Get up" Is all Somnus said as his horn started to glow.
Somnus cast a quick silencing spell on the room and turned to face his daughter who was shaking were she stood on the ground, she looked like she was about to burst into a sobbing fit and beg him no.
Somnus hoof rose up and Celestia flinched with every moment it was raised higher, he looked at her face soaked with her tears shaking, he let his hoof come down and with a large smathethere was a thud and a burst of crying. Somnus saw Celestia crying on the ground holding a large red spot on her face,
"I d-d-didn't m-me-an it da-ddy." Celestia managed to say between sobs.
"Get up Celestia" said Somnus raising his hoof again "It will hurt more if you dont get up" he said watching her cry not moving a muscle. Celestia didnt speak only cry still holding the spot he smacked her.
"One.......Two..........Three" Somnus counted down as he watched Celestia lie on the ground.
Somnus came down harder on Celestia than the first hit and hit her side making Celestia scream out in pain as he smacked her three more times in her side. Somnus pulled away and saw Celestia shaking and crying "Im sorry...". He undid the spell and her trotted out of the room Celestia still on the floor crying, he closed the door and saw Shadowstar looking at the king.
"Ready Shadowstar?" Asked Somnus to Shadowstar.
"I gave here four smacks, do you think that was enough?" Somnus asked Shadowstar.
Shadowstar nodded, "I wouldn't have stopped at just four smacks if my daughter said anything like that to her sister" Shadowstar said.
Somnus looking at Shadowstar "you have two girls and they seemed to argue, what did you
"they know if they say anything like that they WILL get discipline nothing else" Shadowstar answered
"So your saying show them they need to get along or they get discipline?" Somnus asked Shadowstar.
"Yes, after awhile they will grow to be best friends" Shadowstar said.
Somnus nodded "Thank you Shadowstar, we thank you for the help"
"No problem" Shadowstar said waving as Somnus turned the corner to Luna's room.
Somnus knocked on the door and walked into the room with Luna in her small bed, Lumen kissing her forehead and trotting out of the room with Somnus beside her.
"Did you deal with Celestia?" Lumen asked as they were outside Luna's chambers.
The small filly heard her parents talking and pressed her ear to the door to listen in,
"Yes, and i found a way to make sure we dont have to go through this again" said Somnus.
"What do you mean?" asked Lumen.
"Tomorrow ill tell you" Somnus said nuzzling Lumen neck.
"Alright, see you at dawn" Lumen said yawning and turning around to there chambers.
Meanwhile, in the room Luna was almost flying as she heard them say she would fix her and Celestias bond. Luna had always wanted approval from her sister and maybe she would get it, maybe she wouldn't call her a brat and annoying and she hated her. Maybe she would even say "I love you Luna" All Luna could do for now is go to sleep and dream for tomorrow to come.

Luna sprang out of her bed and rushed to the bathroom only to find it was locked, Luna trotted outside of the bathroom door waiting for whoever was in the bathroom to come out. Luna started to grow impatient and knocked on the door,
"Hello? Is anyone in there!" Luna said knocking on the door.
"Ugh! Calm down Luna! Im trying to do my makeup!" Celestia said through the door.
"Hurry up!" Luna said waiting outside.
Minutes passed and Luna didn't hear anything from the bathroom, she got to her hooves and placed her small ear on the dark oak door. Luna pressed harder and heard nothing, Luna started to think before it clicked in her head, Celestia wasn't in the bathroom anymore she must have used her magic to get out of the bathroom without letting Luna into the bathroom,
"Shes never gonna change!" Luna said tears starting to form in her eyes, "No, wait, dad said this will change! I just have to deal with this for now" Luna said sighing "I really hope it dose....." Luna said softly.
Luna trotted into the dinning room where Luna's mother and father sat, Celestia sat away from her parents and didn't look up from her meal moving it around with her fork. Luna sat down on her chair that had some books so that she could reach the table, Luna started to eat her pancakes and every so often glanced at Celestia who didn't even dare make a sound, this made Luna become curious, Celestia normally would have complained about something, the food, her sister just being in the room, anything! But today Celestia didn't say a word, nor looked at there parents, It was a quite breakfast until there father Somnus spoke,
"Luna, Celestia, I want you to to go into the meadow near the waterfalls" Somnus said looking at the now confused faces.
"Why?" Celestia and Luna said in unison at there father.
"Because I do, go after breakfast." Somnus said in a strict tone.
Luna and Celestia looked at there mother who was just nodding and smiling like this simple task had more meaning that there father was letting on. Luna looked at Celestia and Celestia looked back at Luna, they turned to there parents,
"Are you sure?" Luna said unsure.
"Is this really smart?" Celestia said a little sarcasm is her tone.
Luna and Celestia shared glances at each other and looked to there parents who were whispering, Celestia cleared her throat and got her parents attention, Celestia made a gesture for them to give her a answer.
"Don't question your father and just do what we say and go" Lumen said in a little annoyed, probably from Celestia's gesture.
Celestia rolled her eyes and Luna went back to picking at her food. A little while later after breakfast was done Somnus yawned and went to bed, there mother Lumen set off for day court before Lumen went she told Luna and Celestia if they aren't in the garden they would be in deep trouble, so after breakfast Luna and Celestia set out for the meadow. Luna jumped side to side while Celestia watched rolling her eyes, Celestia thought it was so stupid to be here with her little sister.
"Tia! Tia! Wanna play with me? Luna said giggling jumping around the field.
"No, not really...." Celestia said watching a butterfly fly around.
"Why?" Luna said stopping mid-jump and landed on the grass with a ~plop~.
Luna grumbled as Celestia didn't answer her question and then a wicked smirk appeared on her face,
"What if I told Daddy?" Luna said trotting closer to Celestia, the wicked smirk still plastered on Luna's muzzle.
At that Celestia's ears perked up and she growled, "You wouldn't dare...!" Celestia said looking a little shocked by her sisters evil thought .
"Oh but would I?" Luna said holding back a chuckle from her sisters reaction.
Celestia was about to say something but she knew Luna would tell there father and he wouldn't be happy about it, "What do you want Luna..."
Luna giggled in her head and thought to herself,
"~If I can get her to do things with me by finding things she isn't supposed to do she will play with me!~" Luna thought
"Tia.....im going to ask again....wanna play with me?" Luna said, the evil smirk still plastered on her muzzle.
"Fine..." Celestia said through gritted teeth.
Luna chuckled "Then lets play take-off" Luna said jumping into the air and flapping her little wings.
Celestia rolled her eyes,
"~This is going to be a long day...~" Celestia thought as she let Luna onto her back and they took off into the sky.
Luna and Celestia trotted into the castle and into the throne room were Lumen sat on the throne ending the day court, Lumen saw Luna and Celestia trot into the room and got of the throne trotting to her daughters, She nuzzling them and they all trotted out into the grand living room. She sat down and started to ask questions about there day,
"So..how was your day girls?" Lumen asked smiling.
"Great! We played take-off and warriors!" Luna said jumping backwards and tripping over her back hoof making her fall onto her back with a giggle.
"Yeah mom it was great, Luna even learned something new today..." Celestia said trying to look at happy as she could
"What did she learn?" Lumen said with a smile.
"How to get me to play with her" Celestia said trying to hold back a growl.
"Well I hope you both will do this again" Lumen said her smile as bright as the sun.
"Oh! we will! Isn't that right Celestia" Luna said with music in her tone.
"Oh of coarse...." Celestia said with a fake smile.
"Then lets get to dinner!" Lumen said picking Luna up and putting her on her back Celestia followed and glared at Luna.
"This isn't over...." Celestia said a evil grin forming on her muzzle.
