After a dirty cop kills Octavia’s family in retribution for her father putting away many dirty cops in his long career as a lawyer, she is rescued by the Melody Family which runs and owns the streets of Canterlot City. She then discovers she has a special talent in playing the cello and also running violent errands for her adoptive father. Now moving up through the ranks of her gang by planning and taking out hits on rival gangs Octavia becomes the focus of an investigation led by Detective Twilight Sparkle, her mentally unstable partner, Pinkie Pie, and her personal assistant Spike. If that wasn’t enough of a problem for Octavia, she is now also the focus of a million dollar bounty put on her head by rival gangs from Manehatten all the way through to Fillydelphia. With a cage closing in on her from both sides of the law, Octavia has to use all her wits and skills to stay one step in front of her opponents,and in the process she has to lay low in a small backwater town, form unlikely alliances and make new friends. All while trying her best not to indulge too much in her criminal lifestyle. But like they say, old habits die hard.
