The heavy rain poured down across the soaked cobbled road out of town, each wet stone slick from the rain. The winter winds howled alongside the unending downpour of water, blustering the trees and sending smaller sticks flying. The storm raged so wildly, that it nearly sent the young mare travelling home off her hooves! She glanced back to the town she had just been leaving for home, Hearthshire, a simple crossroads between the sprawling Plains of Avare, the Sinfan Forests, and the great, expansive seas to lands she had never seen. The port itself looked glorious. Its ebony wood and stone brick walls stood firmly, while each decorative and rich home was lavishly constructed of rare mahogany. There was also a huge oak tree in its center, which the crossroad port seemed to be constructed around. Hearthshire certainly had an inviting atmosphere to the weary travellers of the land. It was calm, peaceful, and well-protected. A welcoming place to rest.
The towns economy thrived thanks to its bustling trade, and minor taxation on those taking supplies through the town. And with plenty of skilled crafters, ranging from fetching to blacksmithing, along with its rather crucial harbour, only severed to bring further gold into the wealthy town. Though the rain had certainly put a hold on that for the night, with ships anchored to port as the waves along the coast rocked with fury. As the sky continued to weep, and the winds continued to batter the land, the young mare began to mutter an incantation, forming a small arcane bubble around her. The magic hummed with energy and power, though would shatter with ease. It was a simple, weak spell, only intended to keep the white-grey mare dry. Which, for now, it managed to succeed in doing. She was, oddly enough for anyone in this land, unarmed.
The land was dangerous, full of bandits and monsters...
Not far behind this mare was a slightly older stallion, dressed in simple, plain, chain and leathers. His hood was up, and a mask covered his own dirt-brown equine face, protecting him from the cold winter storm. He appeared to be a mustang by breed, and it seemed he was an archer by trade, by the look of things, a bow and quiver strapped to his back. His elegant longbow was wonderfully constructed of valuable willow, its string fashioned from a carefully cured hide, sliced carefully into fibre, and turned into wondrously woven string. It was a very rare material around these parts of the world, and would have cost much more gold and silver than seemed reasonable.
The limbs had been decorated with simple orb-like extensions on each tip, which ended in narrow points shaped like a spear head. The handle, meanwhile, was wrapped in thin, yet firm, leather and decorated with tribal paintings. The modest quiver was made from far more coarse hide and its strap was attached to the equine archer's belt. The outer side was decorated with symbolic writing, which likely had little significant meaning to the archer, but much to whomever had crafted the elegant weapon.
In the hands of a skilled archer, like himself, his bow would easily have been capable of firing arrows a healthy distance while still retaining lethal power... And it made the stallion a very dangerous combatant.
A small, light, straight blade made of simple steel hung from his belt as well, wrapped in high quality, brown bear leather. The blade had a thin, straight cross-guard, just large enough to give the blade a near-perfect weight balance. The cross-guard was undecorated, unlike the bow. It seemed his dagger-like sword was clearly meant to be used only if the situation demanded the stallion did so. A fairly large pommel sat on the end of the handle, undecorated. The blade itself was nothing special.
And so the two travelled away from the hunkering town, trotting down southward towards the far-away town of Goldforge, where they were due to be paid for an assignment given to them by the Marshal Hudson. They had taken up a bounty for the head of the ring-leader of a bandit gang known only as The Black Arrow. Given their name, it was almost ironic how horrible archers they were, while being very seasoned magi and warriors. Then again, a simple magic-dampener and a well-placed arrow could easily deal with each bandit. And that was what, basically, had happened. The mare had thrown up a magic-dampening field, and the stallion had shot each arrow he had in just the perfect spot for a lethal strike.
That left the pair with some god loot, too!
The mare looked up to the inky, black sky, observing the bright, twinkling stars above her head. Made up of seventeen stars, the constellation called Ae'row roughly resembles the shape of a archer, which was where it had likely been given its name. She smiled at it, before feeling her hood blow down as her spell shatter, leaving her head exposed to the drenching downpour. She sighed, pulling it back up, and covering her eyes with a hand.
"Eris?" the archer piped up, causing the magi to glance back. The stallion pointed to a tavern in the distance, causing the mare to smile back. She nodded to him, running forwards.
"A good call, Rain," she returned to her companion, completely ignoring the awful weather he had apparently been named after.
From the outside it looked crude, broken and dull. Wood and huge, stone beams making up most of the building's outer structure.
It was difficult to see through the large, curtained windows, but the lack of people from within could easily be felt by the equine pair. They entered the tavern through the worn, metal door, and were welcomed by utter silence. There was no bartender... No customers... Nobody but the two of them. It was as gloomy inside as it was on the outside. Rotting , wooden beams supporting the upper floor. The walls were completely empty, only covered in a layer of fatty grime.
The tavern was completely abandoned. Theirs for the night.
They glanced to each other, and smiled.
They could fix the joint up with enough gold, most surely, and the head in Rain's backpack of the currently wanted bandit-lord would certainly help them with the money they needed.
They started to look around more thoroughly, Eris searching the downstairs while Rain went up. Eris found an empty bookshelf in surprisingly good condition behind a door that had once presumably been labelled as for the staff. The room she had found was still in fairly good condition, with little dust to be found. She continued to poke about, not quite satisfied with her find.
Rain, meanwhile, was exploring what had once been a room for a paying customer, presumably. It was dank, soggy, and in serious need of repair, with a huge hole in the roof letting the stormy weather lash out at the interior of the building. He continued to look around regardless, not really minding the cold wetness battering him as it had done all night thus far. Then he heard Eris calling him downstairs once again, and thus did with a childish curiosity. When he found her, he smiled, noticing that she had found what appeared like a room the could comfortably rest in for the night. That was, if their sleeping bags had remained dry in the leather backpack he wore. He placed it down, the chain in his garb rustling slightly, and opened up the container, taking out two fur mats. He looked at them both and smiled, tossing his in a particularly dry spot near a small, empty fireplace, constructed of granite brick.
Taking her own from Rain, Eris neatly placed hers on the floor nearby the door, taking a cloth pillow, filled with sheep's wool, and placing it on one end. She then glanced to Rain once again, smiling at him. She inspected the fire, uttering another spell, and snapping her fingers. In an instant, the empty fireplace sparked to life, a flame growing within the safety of the stone. Then she started to look about, pondering how they could make the place theirs.
Then, all of a sudden, they heard the front door slam open. Was the place not abandoned after all? The voice that called was gruff, agitated, and feisty sounding, followed by the shrill voice of some companion or familiar. Curious, Eris cast a sound-muting spell, and trotted forward to peek through a crack in the door. What she saw was a wolf male, ragged and thin. A scar reaching from the bottom of the left cheekbone on his face, ran across his canine nose and ended on his upper lip left eye left him with a painful burden of half-blindedness. He was being trailed by a foul, demonic thing, about as high as his calves. She snarled silently, reading an arcane bolt of pure magic, aiming it with her fingers. Seeing her gesture, Rain drew and arrow, readied it in his bow, and strode forward, the sound of his clopping hooves utterly non-existent. He aimed through the crack for the wolf, noticing how Eris aimed for the foul creature that accompanied him. It was a hideous, scrawny thing, with redish-black skin, a pointed nose, and long, stretched ears, similar to the wolf. An imp!
Then he spotted that the foul warlock had a captive with him. A female of his own race, bound and gagged, a collar around her neck to keep her close to him. The captive's body was well-toned, muscular, and fit. She appeared to be a warrior, stripped of her armour and weapons. Rain snarled at the dishonourable act, and fired. The arrow immediately vanished in a puff of smoke. A spell had simply stripped it of it's existence!
"Come out," the warlock demanded, tapping his pawed foot on the ground, and dispelling everything around him, including Eris's spellwork. The fire remained, fuelled by nature now. But her silencing spell was completely shattered. The door swung open, and the warlock's familiar formed orbs of shadowy, evil magic in his hands. They had a fight on hoof.
Rain let another arrow fly, protected by Eris's magic. Smoke puffed around it, but the arrow remained this time, leaving the warlock with only the option to swiftly dodge the lethal projectile. He retaliated with a snarl and fired a shard of green energy, which dissipated at the mutter of a spell from equine lips. Furious, the warlock threw his captive to the floor, and continued his magical bombardment of his two enemies.
Rain evaded the next attack by stepping to the side, his steps now echoing through the supposedly-abandoned inn, and returned fire yet again, his arrow becoming trapped in the wall. Arrow after arrow was let loose, their canine target continuing to move in evasion, his own spells constantly being counters by Eris. The battle was long, hard, and seemingly was going nowhere. But a lucky spell froze the warlock solid, encasing him in a block of ice. The imp was quickly put down with an arcane bolt, vanishing back to the Hell it belonged to.
Eris then strode forward smugly, chanting one last magic spell, and aiming it at her evil foe. Rain watched, undisturbed, and fully aware of what he was witnessing. A forbidden spell; Unending Agony. The warlock suddenly winced, the ice shattered, and he collapsed to the dank, wet floor. He was screaming out curse after curse, gripping his head, clawing at his hair. He begged, and begged for mercy, his eyes watering with tears of sheer anguish. It was excruciating! Eris frowned, and spat. "You deserve none at all, fiend. You who would play with demons." Rain frowned in response, but remained silent, biting his lip. She was right. Completely right.
Then Eris's hand began to slowly glow with a purple radiance, while she lifted it up vertically. He hand pointed to the sky, and a sword of pure energy formed in its place. A spell-blade would be an inaccurate description, for the blade itself was a spell, and not a blade that would cast them. She brought it down swiftly, giving the foul warlock his 'mercy'. She sighed at the grim task, dissolving the body in a single second with a muttering chant, leaving no trace but ash of the former warlock. Then she approached the female canine he had, sadly, taken prisoner. She was terrified, and cowered at the sight of the equine mage. Eris frowned in response, bringing her hand to softly caress the gagged woman's face. Then she unhooked the gag, and sliced the rope bindings in two with a single incantation. That was all it took to send the wolf running out of the door, running northward towards Hearthshire. Though there was a slight smile on her lips. A smile of thanks.
With that situation dealt with, Eris turned back to her companion, whom had begun to yank his arrows back from the wooden walls. He smiled to her, and she smiled back, chuckling as he fell back onto his butt when one of the arrows finally came free. He grunted slightly in response, before chuckling. "Yeah, okay, no need to laugh," he remarked, dusting himself down before returning to retrieving the rest of his ammunition.
Eris simply shrugged back, looking around. "How much do you think this place is gonna cost to purchase? It's pretty worn down, so I'm going to guess it's cheap." She then smiled to the confused-looking stallion, smirking at his dumbfounded expression. "We could always attempt to, y'know, repair it and sell it again.
Rain looked back to her, his face suddenly becoming ponderous as he looked around. "I'd guess about five hundred and fifty gold, considering the state it's in. Then another ten thousand would be needed for materials to repair it, considering the sorry state of it. The labour... That's another thousand on that."
"That much?" Eris returned, sounding slightly surprised. "Well, I suppose I can magic many of the materials in place. Levitation is an easy spell. Replacing the floorboards upstairs should be easy enough, and we can just stomp the nails into place with hooves."
Rain nodded back, continuing to examine the room. "Decoration shouldn't be too hard. Could renovate this and sell it back to Hearthshire for a hefty sum. Of course... We could always keep it to ourselves. Maybe hire some staff and run it for our own profit."
He could already imagine it, a warm, welcoming place. Constructed of wood and stone. A large table in the center with chairs around it, more tables at each wall by large windows to let in the sun, a cosy fire in the middle, and the chatter of happy patrons and they chugged ales from all over the world. Then there would be their little room in the back, with a bed located snuggly at one of the corners of the room, safely away from the fireplace, constructed with a wooden frame, mattress is laid atop it. In his mind, it was covered in a simple sheet, with a pillow leaning against the headboard. They could then have the bookshelf they had found in there moved to a slightly more convenient spot, put some chests in for storage, and have a door straight to the kitchen a room over. A desk placed right next to the bookshelf, having a drawer to store supplies for writing and studying, a nicely constructed chair tucked under the desk. It would be a perfect home for the two.
Then they could build a stable in the back for some fun... He chuckled at that thought, both of them taking more feral forms, like the horses used as mounts by many of the other races, fucking in public without a care in the world. And nobody would even know it was them! He smiled at the idea, quickly suggesting the purchase and keep the place as their own.
Eris smiled back, nodding at the idea. It was certainly a good one, in both of their minds.
And so they did, using the bounty's reward, and the gold they had gotten selling loot to traders in Hearthshire to purchase the run-down inn for a cheap five-hundred gold, which was cheaper than either could have ever expected, even with its state of utter disrepair. They then began to tear down the rotting areas, replacing them with new, fresh materials given to them in town in exchange for supplies and treasures they had collected in their travels. Even the familiar face of the wolf they had saved from the warlock chipped in, buying enough wood to help completely repair the roof. And within little less than a month, the old, run-down tavern had transformed into a structure that could be barely recognised as what it had been when they bought the joint.
Friends and family were invited the night, and a happy party was celebrated in honour of their efforts to repair the building. Eris received books from fellow magi. Rain was given a brand new quiver, far more decorative, yet just as, if not more, functional than his last. Food and drink was shared around, and as night fell, the equine couple's attendees left for Hearthshire, and home.
But now this was the home of the two equines, both of them heading into their new, personal room for just the two of them, lighting the fireplace, and slowly stripping from their respective sets of gear. Eris embraced the stallion in her arms. Rain did the same to the mare. And as they both stood naked in the roaring light of the fire, they kissed, their embrace loving, sweet, and kind.
And then, silently, their love turned to lust.
The stallion archer sat down on the soft, plush mattress of their new bed, causing the comfortable bedding to sink slightly under his weight, his body bare and legs spread wide. He smiled to Eris as she fell to her knees, a grin on her own face, matching the one forming on his. He grabbed her head in his hands, softly gripping her mane, and pulled the pale-coated equine mage forward to his flaccid cock. It was long and girthy, even before becoming erect, and, to Eris, looked utterly divine. Her tongue slid from her moist lips, her mouth opening wide as she lowered her face to his groin. She licked his sack once teasingly, watching his blissful reaction, and then, once again, licked. This continued for a minute or so of her simply licking and lapping away at his balls teasingly, watching as his shaft slowly grew fully erect during that time. Then, silently, she began to suckle on his left, leathery orb, moaning faintly in pleasure. She took in the heavy scent of his powerful musk, sighing in pleasure at the pleasant buzz it gave her.
Oh, how she loved the smell of his balls and cock, leaving eager to please Rain for the wonderful, musky reward. She continued to suckle and lap away at his crotch, her head buried in his plentiful groin. Eris looked up to see Rain's utterly blissful reaction, his face blank while his mind wandered aimlessly in his own lust. The mage, meanwhile, put her own lustful state to a much better use, her tongue lathering the thick, girthy, enormous dick in her moist saliva. His reaction was laughably cute, his tongue lolled from his mouth. He groaned at her work, pushing her deeper down on his cock, watching her reaction. She loved it!
She loved him.
And so she continued to lap and suck on the twin orbs full of spunk, her nose continuing to happily endorse the cock's strong, wonderful scent. She wanted nothing more than to bury herself permanently in his shaft and pleasure him with her talented mouth. Sadly, it could not be so, and instead she opted to take advantage of the opportunity. A sudden snort caused her eyes to glance up, watching with a slight, sly smirk at Rain's vacant expression, before returning to the glorious balls at her lips, continuing her adoring work to please them. And then she teasingly worked her way up to the cock's head, licking the ridge of the perfect shaft's crown. Her lips contacted with the flared head, gripping it lightly, but firmly, and tugging slightly. She began to suckle for one more moment, and then continued her trail to the very tip of the cock.
And then she swallowed it hole. Her movement was swift, skilled, and quite obviously practised. She sucked and slurped hungrily, pushing her equine muzzled down the huge dick, feeling it poke at the end of her mouth, where the start of her throat began. She pushed on regardless, happy to fill more than just her mouth with his cock, and let it stretch her slender next with a pleasant bulge full of his masculinity. Yes... She loved him. She loved his cock. And she utterly adored the moment passing, her lips wrapped around the base of his cock, his shaft deeper in her gullet, and his balls slapping against her chin. Rain had begun to thrust into her maw, though he didn't seem to realize that he was, in fact, doing so. He was far too lost in his lustful state.
Of course, Eris didn't mind the fact, too happy to be with his wondrous, gigantic cock. She licked and lapped at the hefty, cum-filled sacks, groaning faintly in utter bliss at the chance to tend to them once again. She truly did worship his balls, whenever they would do this, eagerly tending Rain's perfect, leathery orbs. The stallion brayed at her eager work, panting lustfully at Eris's divine tongue on his plump jewels. She just loved his musky scent, and he knew it.
But all good things had to come to an end eventually, and he didn't exactly want his cum to go to waste, and so he pulled her up with a very slight smirk. "My cock still needs some love, dear. I may like how much you enjoy - nay, worship- my balls. But my cock needs love too."
Smirking at Rain, Eris nodded back, and moved her head away from the musky orbs full of spunk, licking the flat head of the equine dick. Her tongue rolled over the tiny opening for cum to leave from. Then she teasingly began to suckle on the tip of the fully-erect horse head, blissfully enjoying Rain's flavour as she enjoyed his girthy shaft. She sucked and slurped with eager abandon, her movements swiftly becoming a deepthroat, her neck stretching as it worked to fit the impressive horse shaft in her mouth. Rain placed his hand on her head as Eris bobbed up and down on the utterly magnificent dick, moaning around it as she worked to simply not loose herself completely in adoration of it.
"That's it..." Rain snorted as Eris worked, his hard length pushing down her slick, soaking throat with ease. He began to thrust his hips into her face, his balls slapping against her chin, soft smacking sounds emanating throughout the room, mixing with the light cackle of the flame lighting their lustful lovemaking. The archer continued to thrust his hips in response to her moan of delight, taking her reaction as an invitation to increase his pace. Eris's mouth became wet with a mix of saliva and precum, her head forced still by the stallion's grip, while he shoved his cock into her face. He was rough, lustful, and in utter heaven as Eris submitted, eagerly working the cock in her maw. She adored it, and was far more than happy to be gifted it in any way, including the facefucking she was being given now.
She had no reason to complain, so lost in her lust. Her hands returned to fondle Rain's sacks, too infatuated with them - loving them so much - that she simply could not be without them getting pleased during the pair's lustful endeavours. Her mouth popped around around the medial ring of Rain's meaty rod while she pulled back. Eris licked the wonderfully-tasting cock again, her saliva leaving a trail between her tongue and Rain's rod. He smirked at her, and she smiled back, returning to eagerly sucking and slurping on Rain's glory with adoration, bliss in her eyes.
And in response suddenly, the stallion came, burying her face into his hairless orbs, slapping her face with them, as he explodes in her mouth, glob after glob of thick and creamy semen lacing her mouth and tongue as it forces its way inside in thick strands. If she should try and bounce back off of it for breath or another reason, not that she even had a reason to desire such, he would stubbornly keep her mouth locked on, forcing her to take the full length of his cock for as long as he pleased. Finally, after depositing a load or two of cum into her mouth, he slid out with a lewd sound from her mouth, bouncing his cock on her face and allowing it to rest there as it continues to spew forth some of the leftover seed.
The mare only smiled in response, swallowing the load eagerly, letting it fill her greedy belly. It was almost an addiction to her, considering how much she wanted to feast upon his truly delicious cum. She continued to gulp and gulp down his cum, leaving her belly to stretch slightly with fullness. When Rain finally pulled away, spraying her face with even more cum, her body looked to be around a month pregnant. They smiled at each other, and Eris rose back to her hooves hugging Rain warmly, and kissing his cheek. It was stained with a lip-shaped mark on his spunk. She chuckled at the sight, licking the stain up, and sitting beside the stallion on the bed. He laid back, his head on the pillow, while she rested her own in his balls. He chuckled at the fact, and pulled her cunny to his lips, swinging her legs apart, one on each side of his head.
Then he gave Eris a lick of his own. She blushed, gasping in delight. Her cunt was slick and moist, a light oozing drizzle of her jucies. She kissed his orbs again in response, moaning out in delight as Rain ate her out. His tongue was skilled, and moved in and out of her pussy in just the right ways to make her squirm and pant, pleasure shooting up her spine. She thrashed slightly, letting out another moan of lustful joy. She smirked to him, panting very faintly as her mind clouded up with sheer, animalistic desire. A desire for nothing more than as much sex as she could coax from the stallion busy lapping up her cunny juices.
Her pussy was sweet, like nectar, smooth, and a little watery - though not enough to ruin the flavour or texture of Eris's cunny-juice. It was utterly delicious. She moaned at his work, feeling his tongue delving into her slit, and pulling out her nectar. The feeling was utterly divine as he worked her soaked twat, leaving it glistening with saliva after every lap of his tongue. Perfect was the only way she could describe his work to eat her girl juices.
Rain nibbled Eris's clit softly as she squirmed in pleasure, carefully tugging at the sensitive flesh. The feeling was perfect. He kept on fucking her needy clit with tongue, happily lapping up her sweet nectar, lust in his eyes. - Her attention to his balls helped - And he eagerly continued to drink her delicious cunny-jucies without a care. Then she came, her amazing girl-cum squirting out across his equine muzzle. He lapped it up hurriedly in response, enjoying the heavenly sweetness of the liquid. Then, slowly, and teasingly, he kissed her slick, tasty clit one last time, a smirk on his face.
She panted, her face still buried in his crotch, and sighed happily. "That... was... amazing..." she muttered between breaths, a smile curled prominently on her lips. "Thank... you..." she continued briefly, before murmuring into the stallion's nuts. And that's how the remained for the rest of the night, heads buried in each others groin, basking in the perfectly pleasant musk of the other.
It was wonderful for the both of them, just to be with eachother, like that, naked. Together.
Eris awoke with a light yawn, bringing her head up from whatever she had been using as such a soft, scented pillow. She rubbed her cheek lightly, finding it sticky, yet dry. Then she looked down, noticing Rain's still bare balls. It took her mind, which had still been waking up, a moment to recall the previous night. But when it did, a smile formed on her face. She licked the sack once teasingly, before clambering off Rain slowly. She brushed herself down, pulling up a pair of pants to cover her cunny, and fastened a bra to her chest. Then she opened the door to the empty space the two equines now called home.
She smiled as she stepped out alone, her partner still sleeping soundly, and began to chat a conjuration spell. A small wooden bowl slowly appeared before the mare, polished and pristine. Then she opened her pouch, pulling out a small cloth sachet of cereal she had purchased from Hearthshire two days ago. It was a simple sachet of oats and it was still fresh, thankfully, so she opened it up and pored the contents into the false-bowl. Then she poured herself some milk from a small glass bottle. She chanted under her breath yet again, and a small, blue glow formed on her fingers. She touched the bowl once, leaving it cold, but not icy.
Then she began to eat silently, enjoying the simple bowl of oats for her breakfast. It was a quick meal, but a good one. She ate in silence, and finished quickly. Once that had been done, she rose back from her seat, and wandered back into the bedroom. Rain was still asleep, his dick rising hard in the air, leaving Eris to chuckle to herself, muttering about 'morning wood'. She grabbed her robes silently, dressing herself in the plain mage's garb.
Once she stepped outside again, she looked around the outside of the inn, playful, fetishistic thoughts crossing her mind. As she stepped around the back, another idea suddenly crossed her mind. A stables! The perfect place to store one's - wild - horses. She chuckled, visualising herself and Rain mating like mindless ferals. She had to smile at the idea, knowing that Rain would definitely approve. And, additionally, Eris could always pick up some books on transformation magic to make their fun 'fit in' to any other wild horses stabled around the back of their new tavern. She smiled, turning around and heading back inside, a knowing smirk on her face. The mare would tell Rain of her idea, and they would make it together.
He would, of course, agree!
She poked him on the arm cautiously, knowing that he was sleeping. He stirred slowly, shifting his weight as he woke, rolling to his side and pushing his head into the air. Seeing Eris, he smiled, kissing her. "What's up?" he asked with a warm tone, though one filled with curiosity. "Something wrong?"
"Nothing's wrong," Eris replied, shaking her head slightly, a smile on her lips. "I have an idea!"
"What idea?" Rain inquired, Eris having gripped his curiosity completely.
"A stable..." Eris replied with a wide smile. "Let's build a stable!" She smirked slightly, kissing Rain's lips. "We can go fuck outside in it, and pretend we're ferals."
Rain's ears suddenly perked, and a sly smirk began to form on his long, equine muzzle. He nodded back, and got up slowly. "Yeah. Let's do that!" He chuckled to himself, and headed over to his equipment, slowly putting it on piece by piece, until he was, once again, dressed in his traditional outfit. Standing up, he followed Eris outside, heading to where she told him they could put it.
He could imagine it as she did, with a simple, slanted roof, covering a large area where they could keep themselves in their non-anthropomorphic forms dry, where they could mate. They would have to create walls of wood to keep the other horses kept there from joining in, and build some supports from large, unpolished oak logs.
And so they gathered those materials, purchasing logs from the lumber-yard in Hearthshire. And with the aid of a few old friends from previous adventures. Work started slowly, with the group digging holes for each log support, chipping holes into the tops of each log. At first, the beam they had prepared did not quite fit, though after only a little more work, it was cleanly slotted into place. Further supports, connecting the current construction to the back on the inn were added not shortly after, with holes forcibly carved into the wall for the log to fit. Sadly the holes created were just a little too large, and so Eris, along with a fellow bovine mage she had asked to help her, began to work on conjuring replacement materials and firmly attaching it to the walls.
It was certainly coming along, Eris thought silently to herself, smiling with satisfaction at what she saw before her. Her idea had formed into reality, at least to an extent. And as the group of builders sat down in the grass around a small far, they ate lunch. All of them seemed exhausted by their efforts throughout the day, though eager to finish the job they had all started.
The frame had been completed, with enough room between for each mare or stallion one would store there. Of course, with only four stalls currently finished, they still had more work the just that regard before they even added the roof!
