Shiny Gear was a toymaker. A genius of his time everypony loved his new inventions, and everypony loved him. He lived with his wife Daisy and their two foals, Ginger and Comet in the town of Ponyville. So when Gear died, leaving his beloved family behind, he left them all a present.
