Rain- Rumble, Apple Bloom, Slice of Life
Rain beat down heavily on a grey colt with an jet black mane. Any reasonable pony would be inside reading, napping, or having a nice cocoa while talking, but not Rumble. He was laughing and playing and using his strong for his age pegasus magic to mess with the heaven's tears. Rumble's mane was matted down, and Celestia's sun was barely visible, but he didn't care. He was in his element.
Rumble used his magic to create a water ball the size of his flank, only to drop it on himself. He laughed loudly, shaking his mane to make the wetness lessen. He opened his small wings and sat on his haunches, simply watching the rainwater pool and drip off of his grey feathers. Soon, Rumble became bored and ran further away from the meadow near his home. He knew exactly where he wanted to go.
Rumble was smiling as he fell into a mud puddle, not caring that he was now grayish-brown. The rain washed off the muck, Rumble frowning a bit. He loved jumping in mud puddles. That was the main reason he always went to Sweet Apple Acres when it rained. Applejack, Big Mac, and Apple Bloom used to have a problem with Rumble rolling around in mud like a pig, but Apple Bloom had begun rolling in them too. They learned to live with the laughing and giggling colt.
"Rumble! Ya really need to go inside. Rainbow said this storm's gonna be a wild one." Apple Bloom called from her bedroom window. Rumble had stopped rolling for a minute before answering.
"Aww C'mon Bloom!" Rumble got up and let the rain wash over him. "Thunderlane said the craziness'll start in about an hour. AB roll with me! The mud's fine!" Apple Bloom rolled her eyes before skillfully climbing out her window, sliding down unto the gutter, tapping each shingle carefully before making three hops. She then jumped off the roof, falling a few feet before landing on all four hooves.
"I still wonder how you do that." Rumble said simply. Apple Bloom untied her bow, placing it near the Sweet Apple Homestead's door.
"Months of sneakin' out. Now, are ya ready to roll?" Apple Bloom said. Rumble splashed mud on her.
"Does that answer your question?" Rumble asked cheekily. Apple Bloom jumped right in the mud, making Rumble a brown colored colt with a jet black and light brown mane.
"It does!" Apple Bloom laughed before rolling around with Rumble.
