The Discorded Life

           A few months later, Star was coming up with a new spell, but of what? Star thought and thought of what kind of spell he could make. Star gave up and decided to check on Celestia, who was talking with Luna.

"Celestia, Luna, can you two talk for a moment?" Luna and Celestia walked over.

"What is it?" asked Luna. She has become more confident ever since she was named a Princess of Equestria.

"I need help thinking of a type of spell to make next, as I had already used my ideas," replied Star.

"That's easy. Make a time spell to go forward or backward in time!" exclaimed Luna, not thinking much of it. Star thought to himself, how did I not think of that?

"OK, will do, so I will be busy for quite awhile," declared Star, as he was walking out of the room. He came up with theories with how he can make a spell as complicated as this. He drew tired as the hours pushed on, but he didn't think much of it. Then, there was a knock on the door.

"Star Swirl, I think you might want to rest. You have worked for fourteen hours straight!" said Celestia, opening the door.

"I cannot stop, because I need to see if this spell will work. I believe it is finished. Let me try," before Celestia could do anything, Star disappeared.

"I hope he knows what he is doing," said Celestia, who was worried of Star's well being.

Star opened his eyes, and found himself in the future. He saw himself, laying on the ground, looking drained. He realized it was night time. Star then remembered the duties of raising the sun and moon, and Star figured he must have drained himself of his energy. Star turned around and saw Celestia, and she rose the sun, while Luna lowered the moon. He watched in awe as their cutie marks appeared. This must be their destiny!

"Celie, look! You have your cutie mark!" exclaimed Luna, as Celestia screamed in glee.

"You have yours too, Lulu!" Luna looked and hopped. Star grinned. Soon, he will actually witness this!

"Star Swirl, this might hurt a bit," announced Celestia. She couldn't possibly saw him, could she have? Then Star realized she was talking to his future self, not him. He looked over, as Luna and Celestia used their magic to revive his own. Star smiled, and decided to go more into the future. He again used the spell, and everything passed in a blur.

Star then found himself by a tree, with the same cutie marks as Luna and Celestia! There was a star above them, and Star Swirl decided he will check what it is when he is done viewing this current situation.

"Celie, what is this place?" asked Luna. Celestia hung her head a little.

"This is the tree we need to defeat Discord," replied Celestia, looking as if she was going to cry. Who is Discord? Star suddenly noticed how shockingly beautiful Celestia was now.

"This tree? What does it contain?" Luna questioned.

"It contains the Elements of Harmony, which we need to make Discord stop his rein on Equestria," replied Celestia, a tear rolling down her cheek.

"Oh... we know this is hard, as he was a close friend before. But now, we must do what is best for our subjects," reminded Luna, hoping Celestia will agree with her.

"Of course," said Celestia. Star forwarded time, and saw Celestia and Luna against... What is that?! Star was shocked to see such a horrifying creature. Was this Discord? He was the definition of chaos. The world around Star was all chaotic, checkered grounds, strange animals, fearful ponies, and more. Where did this tyrant come from? Star decided he didn't want to know. Then, Celestia and Luna stepped forward.

"Discord, this is your last chance. Back down now, and consequences with be less," said Celestia. Discord laughed, sounding much like Star, to his confusion.

"Celie and Lulu, you believe you can stop me?" Star was even more confused, as Discord sounded exactly like him.

"Well, you leave us with no choice," sighed Celestia, as she brought out the gems, which were the Elements, most likely. Then, Star was sent back in time, and Star saw Celestia in front of him.

"Back from your travels?" Celestia asked.

"It was amazing, I wish I could tell you what happened, but I think not as it will alter the future," Star said, knowing what disastrous effects can take place.

"Alright," said Celestia, and she walked out of the room. What a great princess she will become! Star thought of this as he went to rest with some coffee. Time will tell. Star stops thinking as he falls asleep. It HAS been a long day, and this is his reward.
