A prodigy in Canterlot City thinks Trixie Lullamoon and Twilight Sparkle are a frauds that has deluded the masses into thinkimg magic is real. He's going to show that magic is a waste of time and the girls are liars.
Quentin Drake was a child prodigy, a high school diploma by age 12, a college degree by age 15, and now a master in robots, computers and various fields. He soon sees a flyer for a magic show heralded by Twilight Sparkle and Trixie Lullamoon, who claim to posses real magic and Quentin doesn't believe a word of it. A master of TRUE power in technology, he challenges them both to pit their "prestidigitation" to his machines and science.
